New 2023R1 github customization for lot/serial attributes

Hello,

I noticed that there’s an updated customization for lot/serial attributes for the 2023R1 Acumatica version:

However, I can’t find the file to download. What am I missing?

I recently implemented this in 2023R1, the older version and it still works.

Is there an update specifically that you are looking for with it?

I too have customers that are still using the older version with no issues.

3 things we’ve been looking for, that we hope the new version helps with:

  1. Functionality that supports Manufacturing. It looks like lot attributes will now be available for MOVE transactions.
  2. The ability to clean up unused lot attributes. We have found that we can’t delete unused attributes from the Lot/Serial Class (even when there are no transactions associated with the attribute). An error is generated requiring the attribute to be inactive. The Active checkbox can be unchecked on the Lot/Serial Class, but the error persists and there is no “active” setting on the Attribute screen itself.
  3. Lot/Serial attribute records do not get cleaned up if a stock item is deleted, causing additional errors. Scenario: during pre-implementation testing, stock items are marked for deletion, a new test tenant is created using only business accounts and settings (no transactions), to provide a clean testing environment. However, the lot/serial attribute records do not get deleted with the other inventory records.
