Configuration and Installation

Hi, In Acumatica, we have created a guest role and a corresponding contact user type. The goal is to create users linked to Vendor contacts to allow them to login and see a few inquiries and be able to upload some documents.If I use Login as User to see the what access they have, it works exactly as I intend. However, it is impossible to try and login as these users. We always receive an invalid credentials error. Even if we use reset password, the reset password ends up saying invalid credentials as well somehow. I know it’s trying to log the correct user in because the failed password attempt counter does increment in the database. Equally, login via email address does not work at all. It says invalid credentials as well and doesn’t increment the failed password counter in the database (and yes, I did create the user after enabling login via email setting) Failed login with external user If I compare the setup I did to say the standard portal user role and type and read through the d

This is my least preferred method of communicating but Acumatica’s support team has time and time again shown that they will listen to our valid concerns and then take absolutely no action. We are in year 3 of a nightmare implementation. Our reseller completely botched discovery and sold us an initial product that did not meet our needs. We have since added modules and customized and are now stuck in July with no financials for calendar year 2022. Our reseller has failed and despite recent positive efforts from a new analyst we seem to be nowhere closer….We don’t even have a functioning CRM module, nor do our executives have dashboards and KPI reports. The most communication we get from Acumatica is about paying for the license. We estimate to have lost 100k+ in unbillable work orders due to a poor migration and lack of transparent processes. Does anyone have a line to someone that cares? I try to config live mail not successfully 

We set up Customer Access groups so that salespeople can only see their own. This works and limits access to Opportunities related to their customers, for example. But in the mobile app they can still see all Opportunities. Can the security be extended to mobile or is there some other way?I’ve looked for documentation on this without success. Thanks in advance for any help. 

I have a need to keep my users from changing the default time zone under their My Profile (User Preferences).I cannot recall or find where that setting is under the Access Rights by Role screen.Does anyone know where that is in the list of options?Thank you,Jeff

Hi,I have setup password for my user in Live tenant as xxx. Same password is for user in Test tenant.When I update the password in Live Tenant to abc, the test tenant password is still the previous one i.e xxx.Is there a way or setting which can help me with password update across all tenants for my user? Thanks.

Does anyone know why the “Sign in as user” function is greyed out and unavailable on the user screen (SM201010). This functionality is usually available, but every once in awhile it will be greyed out. Screenshot below. Thanks!   

I'm in need of the Report Designer and other tools for Acumatica 2020 R2. I've been searching through the Acumatica Tools Download Page at this link: http://acumatica-builds.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix, but I've noticed there's no tools folder available for the 2020 R2 version.Can anyone guide me to a download link for these tools, or provide any insights on where else I might find them? These tools are crucial for my current work, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to default the login experience to just entering the code that is automatically emailed and not suggesting via Mobile App?  This is the page I would like them to be 1st presented with instead of the Mobile App one  - Thanks,Brett

Hello Team,I have a customisation developed in one of the sandbox instances. So whenever a data of any field/s is changed under General or Payment tabs → Vendors (AP303000) form, the status of the vendor gets Inactive. And hence a business event would be triggered when this gets Inactive.Now in the business event I would also like to display the data which particular field/s has been modified due to which the status of the vendor got changed to Inactive. How can I build up a Business Event on this condition.Since there are multiple fields under both the tabs, and if the user makes any modification under 3 fields then the business event should display that the modifications were made in those 3 fields.Thanks in advance.

We did a massive client upgrade from Version 19 (which only runs in Internet Explorer) to 23.113.0042 The snapshot is too large to move, so we enabled external file storage LOCALLY, moved those files into an AZURE BLOB. This works just fine for local files, this does not bring back files in the new version using the Azure Blob, even though it has the correct File ID in the file link. We CAN make new files in the new system and they do get sent to Azure and we CAN recover those contents through acumatica. If we try to access one of the other files, it claims it does not exist, but we know it exists as the File ID still points to the correct object in Azure and we can open it (for example the company logo that should display in Acumatica). Anyone have experience with this type of behavior before? When we try to retrieve bank transactions from our linked cards/bank accounts, we receive an error message of “Invalid Authorization Header” which is preventing us from bringing in transactions. When we click update credentials for the card/bank account, we receive the same error message.

Hi team, We are having issues with Processing Center GI after upgrade to 2022 R1 version. While opening the GI there are no records shown. Tried accessing the navigation page CA205000 as well same issue.Logged in as Admin with delete access. Any thoughts on what could be the issue?

Dear ALL,We encountered an error with the Payments and Applications screen (AR3020PL) and some Generic Inquiry screens when using the Google Chrome. This error only appears on some computers, not all computers. When switching to Microsoft Edge browser, there is no error.Please advise how to fix the error. Note: Acumatica Version 2020 R1 Best Regards,NNT

I wanted to create a new tenant to use for testing, and when I did, I unknowingly exceeded our license limit of 5 tenants. I was unable to access this tenant, and I thought maybe something went wrong, so I tried creating another. Same problem, I couldn’t access it. So I thought I could create a new tenant and immediately set the status to Test Tenant, but once again I couldn’t access it. So now we have three new tenants that I cannot access. How can I delete them if I cannot access them? Thank you for any help. This is driving me crazy. Dave

I know how to set the flags for SO’s, Projects, Invoices, etc to keep them from being released when a Customer is on Credit Hold.  However, is there a way to keep a customer from even being “selected” for a SO, Project, or Invoice in some setting or configuration?Or does that require a customization?Oh, I was in the middle of writing a customization to extend and add more “customer status” codes to the basic drop-down values list in Customer; but is there a way to do that without a customization?  Not a big deal, just curious.Thank you, 

Can anyone offer instructions on how to configure Acumatica (2020 R1) to give free shipping on orders over $500 on select Item Classes?  

This is simply ridiculous.  I should be able to do this easily.  I created a Data Provider and Import Scenario to simply upload/import into Acumatica the job positions I want to use for Employees.  I have created imports dozens, (if not hundreds), of times, and this is one the simplest I have every needed to do, but it continues to error out on me and not process any of the records.  (There are only 51 of them).Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and why this will not work?I am attaching the Data Provider, Import Scenario XML files and the original Excel file I am using. 

First question, does Acumatica 2022 R1 run on Windows server 2022?Second question, has ANY version of Acumatica yet been certified to run on Windows server 2022?(the 2nd question is because from the matrix I have seen, not even 2023 R1 is certified on Windows server 2022.)Thank you, 

When I try to add lines in Details tab of the Opportunities screen, following error is occurring. What are the configurations I should set in Account Receivable screen? 

Ran into this error while upgrading from 22.220.0026 to 23.205.0011: I was able to get around it by dropping the constraint and recreating it with a different name in the DB but wanted to see if anyone else has encountered this? Before this upgrade I did do a build update from 22.209.0011 to 22.220.0026 without any issues. 

Only specific individuals should be able to email invoices from Acumatica.  Is there a way within the user security or if by using the email account access to prevent certain users from emailing invoices?
