I have created a Custom Filed on the Production Order called Job Number. Historically we have used this work with complex Parent Child issues (Yes I know we could use Product Number however we manually assign these job codes) I want the Job Number to auto populate on the linked order. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Help me please, how to include image to imagebox for external link, example from google photo

Hello,          In Generic inquiry, we have something fantastic like @weekstart and @weekendBut these does not work for report designer.        Is there a way to set the report designer’s default data range as “Last week”?

Hi everyone, I want to update an udf in sales order when this sales order is in shipping status. I tried the web service endpoint, and I find I can’t update any fields when the sales order is in shipping status. Anyone has some idea?

Within the AR Invoice process screen (Print Invoices and Memos), there is an option to MARK AS DO NOT EMAIL. We automate  this function for $0 invoices through an automation schedule. However this same functionality does not exist in the Sales Order Invoice Process screen (Process Invoices and Memos).Until this functionality is added, any ideas on how to automate this? My first instinct would be an import /export scenario to check the DON’T EMAIL box inside the Sales Order Invoice Screen.Ideas?

When creating a new ECR I am getting the following error in 2020R2. I am logged as an admin so it is not a permissions error. Any thoughts?

Hello,How do I customize the behavior of Role and Type under Relation tab of Business Account? I add new role via Automation Steps below but how can I default a Type based on Role selected? For example if IT Consultant is selected in Role the default Type is Prospect.

I’m working on a migration project from Sage to Acumatica.  I was asked to write an import scenario to load older AR Invoices.  As I write the script, I manually walk through the steps to see how it interacts with the data entry form.  When I get to the detail section and try to add an inventory item, I see that only non-stock items are displaying in my lookup.  All my imported items are finished goods, so I’m getting errors for my import.  I’m not familiar at all on how the inventory items were imported, but where/what would I look for to allow finished goods to show up?

Hello,          With other’s help, I was able to add a selector of employees on shipment screen.I’ve created an employeeclass (Which is referred to VendorClassID in DAC) named “PICKER”,I’d like to limit the selector only shows the employees from “PICKER”,I write the below code, but it gives out errors: [PXSelector(typeof(Search<EPEmployee.bAccountID,Where<EPEmployee.vendorClassID,Equal<"PICKER">>>), typeof(EPEmployee.acctCD), typeof(EPEmployee.acctName), typeof(EPEmployee.vendorClassID),SubstituteKey = typeof(EPEmployee.acctCD))]         What is the right way to write the codes. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,We currently have 2 sets of Purchase Orders (i.e. 4 purchase orders in total) which have the same OrderNbr. Fortunately, this isn’t causing any issues in the database, since the 2 sets of PO’s have different types, i.e. 1 Drop-Ship and 1 regular PO, and luckily this has only happened twice in more than 2 years, but I don’t think this is normal behaviour, is it? Note that we are using MySQL as database. We’re using the numbering sequences with auto incremental values, so technically these 4 POs should all have had different reference numbers, right? Is there perhaps something we can do to enforce that this doesn’t happen? It is causing a little bit of confusion in our operations department when they see 2 POs with the same reference number.

We are currently using the Landed Cost feature to accurately cost our inventory. The inventory valuation report shows the updated average cost of the item, but we would prefer a report that displays the total cost of each PO receipt, with the cost per item shown. This is particularly important because our costs shift each time we receive inventory.Any tips on creating this report?

Hi,I developed one new Screen Consist of OrderNbr and RevisionNbr fields as two Primary Keys(Same as Kit Assembly/Specification revision Functionality). For first time I am able to save the data with OrderNbr -0001 and RevisionNbr-1.If I change the RevisionNbr as 2,Then I am Inserting Data of RevNbr-1 to RevNbr-2.But When I am saving OrderNbr -0001 and revisionNbr-2 error is getting ”Another Process has Added To TableName,Your changes will lost”.This error is Getting only in 20R2, But Its working in 19R2.Could you pls provide any solution to resolve this ?ThanksGiri.

Hello,     Previously, I’ve added a caculation field on shipment, and it is non-persisted.Now, for reporting purpose, I’d like to make it as a DB persisted field.      Is there an easy way to do it?

During the payroll training this week their was a discussion about the general ledger accounts for  earnings expense, tax expense and benefit expense being driven by a project.  I was wondering if in the design, you will be supporting non-construction based projects or only the construction edition?  From what was discussed, it sounded like these accounts would come from the cost centers, which I don’t think is part of the standard project edition.  As a follow up, it would be helpful to provide some level of coding for “x” projects.  If the accounts are going to be based on projects where do the non- project costs go?

We have customers and prospects with their own fleet of delivery vehilces.  They are interested in using Workwave route optimization to help facilitate the deliver of Acumatica generated Shipments.   Has anyone integrated Acumatica and Workwave for Shipments?  I understand there is an integration for Field Service.  This request is for Order Management Shipments only.

I have created a screen to change items in a sales order using a processing screenThe top of the form has two fields, the “From” item and the “To” item. When you kick off the PROCESS ALL, I need to have the values in those fields available to the process delegate.  Since the UpdateOrders delegate is static, I don’t know how to get the from and to item numbers.  I’ve tried creating public properties and setting the values of the properties on the rowselected event.  But when UpdateOrders fires, and ultimately fires the UpdateOrder method, the properties are null.  In the code below, I hard coded the inventoryID’s just to verify the code actually changes the sales order and it works great.  I just don’t know how to access the values in the top of the screen in the code. ItemNumberToChangeFilter filterValues = Filter.Select();  returns nulls. Other than that, I’m almost done!  :-)        public PXFilter<ItemNumberToChangeFilter> Filter;        public PXFilteredProcessingJoin<SOOrd

I have searched this forum and stackoverflow but I cannot find anything on how to hide the “Schedules” button on the processing screen.  Does anyone have any way to do it?This has no effect:

I have multiple companies under one tenant that are all processing payroll under their individual federal tax IDs. Where do I store the individual company’s state withholding and unemployment IDs?From my understanding, the details are on the Company Setup during the Aatrix processing of reports but where are these details stored to tell Aatrix what to put on these reports?

Does anyone know if the "Time Card is Required" flag on the Employee (Organization) screen has any functionality behind it or if it is just there for informational purposes?  I have not seen anything in payroll requiring a time card, but I didn't know if there was a warning or error produced somewhere else in the system if that flag is on and no time card is entered.

Background:We have UKG Ready for Time & Attendance (old Kronos) We have UKG Pro for Payroll (old UltiPro) We have IDI Contractor Central for job costing, prevailing wage, and certified jobs We use cost over cost (input method) accounting for revenue recognitionProblem: what is the best method for accounting for labor costs and payroll costs in Acumatica?Solution 1:Feed timesheet and payroll data to IDI. Have IDI calculate fully burdened project labor costs. Upload project labor costs from IDI to Acumatica in an off balance account group that doesn’t hit the G/L Upload direct labor payroll and benefit costs from UKG Pro to Direct Labor accounts as journal transactions, NOT project transactions. Upload indirect labor payroll and benefits costs from UKG Pro to SG&A via journal transactions.Solution 2:Feed timesheet data (including project / task) to UltiPro for payroll run. Upload payroll and benefit costs to SG&A accounts as journal transactions. Secondary journal transaction

Employees work for different Customers in different states.  Some of these customers are responsible to handle the workers compensation for the employees who work at their location(s).  Is there a proper setup or best practice for this?

Hello again Everyone, I recently discovered that there are some wrong conversions set in my Inventory module. I have corrected them now but I can not seem to reflect to change in the conversion in my inventory reports, please help on how to fix this? Thank you! Kind regards,Mrivera67

Our Product Configurator is pretty large and it takes a few minutes just for Sales personnel to start a Sales order, select the Configurable inventory ID and save to get into the Configurator itself. One idea that was floated to us for future development by Debbie was for Acumatica to “pre-cache” a number of Sales orders overnight, so that sales could get into the Configurator more quickly. I created a Case for this, but it was suggested that I post the idea to the Community instead.

On the Exchange Server Configuration screen I am getting the following error message: An exchange URL cannot be auto-discovered.An attempt to auto-discover the exchange URL by login failed. Please specify a correct exchange server URL.The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. Does anyone know why that error message occurs, and how it can be fixed?

Hello Everyone,We have specific requirement to increase the TaxZoneID length  from size 10 to 30  from TaxZone table.Since, this field is having dependency with many table fields, unable to modify the length and giving SQL error is ALTER TABLE ALTER COLUMN taxzoneid failed because one or more objects access this column.. I know that we can drop the Foreign Key relationships and make it work but I don’t think this proper way of doing in Acumatica database. Hence posting this question here and seeking for help. Can you please help me with this?
