As described in the blog post below, I’m exposing a Generic Inquiry (GI) to be retrieved by an external system via the REST API. We are using OAuth2 authentication with grant_type=password and scope=api. As shown in the blog post, I’m sending a PUT request to Acumatica with a {} in the request body.https://www.acumatica.com/blog/contract-based-apis-in-generic-inquiries/ Could you please clarify whether it is necessary to call a logout after performing the PUT request?

Up until this morning, I was able to add user-defined fields to the opportunities screen without any issues but when I try to add a UDF to the screen, I get an error stating ‘Index was outside the bounds of the array’. I will post a screenshot of the stack trace.Any advice would be appreciated!

I am trying to setup Sales Order Notification Email templates to use information from the Mailing & Printing tab of the customer record as well as the Sales order. All the email information was scrubbed from the report, and the report directed to SalesOrderNotification template. This worked correctly. The Template has a message body, To fields set, From fields pulling from the Contact associated with the Sales order correctly. However, i was wanting to use the Customer record Mailing & Printing settings to populate the CC field. I cannot get the email template to pull information from here at all. I tried both Add recipients and Overwrite.Nothing ever populates in the CC field.I tried looking in the list of “Screen Fields” in the email template itself, but found nothing that makes this connection. What have I missed in this process?

Hi, I’ve created a smart panel containing a grid and an OK and Cancel button. You select a row on the grid, then hit OK and the selected item is added to a sales order. It looks like this:Whilst it all works fine, I would like to improve it a little by allowing the user to double click on a row and not have to press the OK button. This would be similar to using a PXSelector where you only need to double click on the row to select it, as shown belowI’m hoping it’s just a property against the grid but I cannot find one.Any ideas?

Hi, Have been battling with an issue with an override to ReleaseFromHold in POOrder Entry.  What I am needing to do is make an API call on another Acumatica Instance to create a Sales order that is linked to the Purchase OrderCode is below: The method ReleaseIntercompany is not the problem.  I have the same issue even if the call is commented out such that the code becomes:  I have narrowed this down to the presence of the Base.Save.Press().  This is required because if ReleaseFromHold is pressed before the order is saved, then the OrderNbr of the PO is not known and I want to send this in the API to create the Sales Order in the other tenant to store the value in a custom field. What happens, when the PO is released with the code above is that the user is left with a form that looks like:All the fields in the header are blank.  The order has saved, and has been released as you can exit and go back in and all the data is there.I’m thinking that I could just right a custom action that ca

The total cost on the on the purchase receipt is not taking in to consideration the line discount of an item. For example 10 items  @ 10 less 20% line discount will come to 80.The total cost on the PR shows 100 instead of 80. The total cost is helpful tocompare the receipt with the vendor invoice totals.

Hello Everyone,In the recent Modern UI update, we added custom grids to the Stock Item Attributes tab. While the grids have been successfully added, they are currently displaying in the All tabs of the Stock Item screen instead of the intended tab. We have implemented the code changes in the HTML and TypeScript extension files. Please review the changes and suggest a solution. Please find the screenshots for reference:Screenshot 1:Screenshot 2:HTML: <template>        <field after="#fsColumnA-StockItem [name='Descr']" name="UsrEnableSiteID"></field>        <qp-template id="temp-Enable">            <div id="div-SiteContainer" class="grid-container">                <div data-bind="grid: LableSite">                    <qp-grid id="gridAnswers-LabelMangement" view.bind="LableSite" caption="Label Management" wg-container="LableSites_PXGridItemLabels"></qp-grid>                </div>            </div>                       <div id=

When attempting to release a group of project transactions I get a “IN Error: Unit conversion is missing” error. In this particular group of transaction there are about 30 transactions. I’ve looked at the UOM and Conversion rules where applicable and don’t see anything out of the ordinary. When I look at the trace I see what is shown below. Is there a way to track this error to a particular inventory item?    Error 2025-06-13 01:04:22 UTC    Category: Trace  Message: IN Error: Unit conversion is missing.  Stack Trace: PX.Objects.IN.PXUnitConversionException: IN Error: Unit conversion is missing. at PX.Objects.IN.INUnitAttribute.Convert(PXCache sender, Nullable`1 InventoryID, String FromUnit, Decimal value, Nullable`1 baseValue, INPrecision prec, Boolean ViceVersa) at PX.Objects.IN.INUnitAttribute.Convert(PXCache sender, Nullable`1 InventoryID, String FromUnit, Decimal value, INPrecision prec, Boolean ViceVersa) at PX.Objects.

Hi, I am doing a GI and I meet a issue from getting the data field of PO receipt and In-Transit quantity. Is there any other table can get the value of them? because it show object invalid when I use [InventorySummaryEnquiryResult] to get the value.

I am currently working through Lesson 3.1: Setting Up Intercompany Sales from the F300 Intercompany Transactions (2025 R1) course. According to the training materials, when configuring Accounts Payable Preferences, I should be able to select "Vendor Location" in the Use Intercompany Expense Account From field. However, in the system, this option does not appear. Instead, I only see "Vendor" and "Inventory Item" as available selections.Could you please clarify whether the documentation needs to be updated or if there are additional settings required to enable the "Vendor Location" option?Thank you for your guidance and support.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to write a formula in Acumatica Report Designer where: If [CWMSAItemAttributes.Brand] is empty or null, I want to return the first word from [InventoryItem.Descr]. Otherwise, it should return the value from [CWMSAItemAttributes.Brand]. I’ve tried using IndexOf() and Substring(), but I keep getting errors like “index out of range” or “missing operator before the space operand” depending on how I write it. Please guide me .Here’s one of the formulas I attempted: =IIf( Len(Trim([CWMSAItemAttributes.Brand])) = 0, Substring([InventoryItem.Descr], 0, IndexOf([InventoryItem.Descr], ' ')), [CWMSAItemAttributes.Brand] )

When reversing an AP Bill/Invoice with pay by line NOT flaggedReverse Invoice, Creates a Debit Adj Release Debit Adj and select apply Opens Checks and Payments screen with Debit Adj as type Add Documents to Apply (the invoice reversed) ReleaseBUT when Pay by Line is flagged for the AP Bill/InvoiceReverse Invoice, Creates a Debit Adj Release Debit Adj and select apply Opens Checks and Payments Screen with Payment as type All the lines of the Debit Adjustment are displayed Then we need to add all the individual lines of the Invoice to apply to each line of the Debit Adj. The document is processed as a zero payment (automatically flagged as closed when process payment)The issue is that it shows as payment and if the invoice has many lines to apply to the offsetting Debit adj this can take additional time and possibly lead to incomplete application.Need the ability to reverse and apply the entire document in total (apply documents), even if pay by line is the Vendor/Document option by defa

I am trying to set up a connection between Acumatica and Send Grid, and while the outbound process works perfectly, Send Grid is not sending the information back to Acumatica. The email is being logged as open, but Acumatica isn’t receiving that information back. Is there some step or mistake I’ve made? What SendGrid Sees What Acumatica sees

I’m trying to use Acumatica’s integration with SendGrid to get record of when a email is open. The email is being sent fine and logged in SendGrid, which then sends the read receipt back to the webhook which receives it. However, the information never leaves the WebHook, despite the Email and WebHook being linked.SendGrid’s RecordsWebhook receiving the Response from SendGridEmail Activity does not have this recordThe Email Account linked to the Webhook

Hi, Appreciate your help on this.  we are setting up the Deduction and Benefits for vacation and we encountered this concern. Context:  Vacation should be set as Percentage of gross wages and should be taxable.  In Acumatica payroll, when the Affects tax Calculation box is ticked, the Percentage Custom in the Calculation Method is not available. Note:  We cannot use the Amount per hour because the hourly rate may vary and we may need to calculate it manually in every paycheck.  Thank you.

Hi CommunityIs there a specific command to use when creating an export scenario for one period only instead of all records. Thanks in advanceBarbara

I recently added service orders to the mobile application so that our employees can view and edit service orders from their phone/mobile device. It is added and working great for everyone that does not have an apple phone. They can view the list, but when they try to click on one, it spins for a bit and then says that an error occurred as shown below. This is a screenshot from our sandbox company, but it does it for both the sandbox company and the main system. When on android, it opens up the service order without any issues. Has anyone had this kind of problem before? Is it an error with apple or is there something I need to change with my code?

Is it possible to create a prepayment for a PO without having to tie it to a specific item/quantity within that PO?  It’s very common for our international vendors to change their PO’s and that messes with any prepayments that may have been applied to those changed quantities. My question:  How can I apply a prepayment to a purchase order in total without having to attach it to any specific item/quantity/percentage etc? The same way on the receivables side where you can apply a prepayment to an invoice as a whole.  Example:  Customer owes $10,000 and pays $1,000 towards it.  System shows balance of $9,000 without having to apply that prepayment to any specific item within the invoice. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,Is there a way to have this in a Arm report?

Hi Good morning. Appreciate your help on this. What will happen when an employee goes from 1 union  local to another?  Does it create an issue?Example:   Employee move from Apprentice level 1 to Apprentice level 2 and some of the Deduction and Benefits of these union are different.Thank you

Hi, Good morning. I am still not certain of how and why we need to use the rate table.   We are using the Acumatica Payroll and the Construction module.   My question is Do I need to create a Rate Table if we want all the actual labor will be charged to the project based on the employee time entry?    Thank you and appreciate your help.

Is it possible to do a Historical Data upload for AP module ( Bills , Payments ) in Migration mode ? Bill and Adjustment with Migration mode is working fine ,But when I am Trying to Release the “Check and Payment “ in migration mode (with Document Apply reference to Bills ) getting below Error .   any thoughts ?

Has anyone successfully created new customers programmatically in Acumatica?I'm trying to understand the minimum required fields, whether I can default values from a Customer Class, and what the best practices are.Yes, I’m aware that import scenarios are the standard approach—but in this case, they’re not sufficient. I’m importing from another accounting system and have custom logic in place for remapping, consolidating, and creating new customers, which import scenarios can’t handle. This process also needs to run automatically every few hours, so I’m looking for a robust, code-based solution.Any examples or guidance would be appreciated. Here is my starting point…. // ——————— Create Acumatica Customers (Comprehensive Explicit Creation) ———————[PXButton(CommitChanges = true)][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Create Customers")]public IEnumerable createCustomers(PXAdapter adapter){PXCache mappingCache = Caches[typeof(SSCustomerMapping)];// Dictionary to store MappedCustomerID (Acumatica AcctCD)

Hi all,I'm trying to understand how Acumatica handles customizations in a single-tenant, multi-company environment.Let’s say, for example, we have a single tenant with three companies under it (not separate tenants). Suppose we develop a customization for the Sales Order screen (SO301000) — such as adding custom buttons and logic — but we only want that customization to be active and visible for Company 1, and not for the other companies. Here’s what I’d like to know: Is it possible to restrict a customization (or parts of it) to apply only when a specific company is selected in the Company/Branch selector? Are there any best practices, performance concerns, or potential pitfalls when implementing company-specific logic like this in a shared customization project? I understand that in a single tenant, we can't publish separate customization projects per company, but I’d like to know the recommended way to handle company-specific behavior in this kind of setup. The goal is that if a use

Hi everyone, Frequently we have a need to collaborate with Acumatica Support on cases where they require access to our private cloud environment & subsequently our client sites.Does anyone know what the IP addresses (ranges) are that Acumatica Support uses so that we can lock it down on our firewalls? It poses a risk to our infrastructure to just allow access from everywhere. Best,
