I have 2 tenants in our Acumatica install (single server). Test and Live. On our Test tenant I was able to get a System Email account added, setup and working perfect. However on our Live tenant, after mirroring the settings exactly like the account on the Test tenant, after clicking the [TEST] button, it just spins, and the Elapsed Time just keeps counting.I've triple checked the system email account settings, everything matches.Some notes:The spinner "Press to abort", does nothing.System Management -> System Monitor does show the running process. However the ABORT button does nothing. I would like create a monthly P&L that uses the Actuals ledger for Start Period through End Period and then uses Budget ledger for “End Period +1” through Period 12.Currently I update the data source in the appropriate column each month within the column set.  I would like to find a way to dynamically select the correct ledger based on End Period.Something like the following for the column representing the Period 7 . . .=IIf(Left(@EndPeriod,2)>=7, ‘Actuals Ledger’, ‘Budget Ledger”) 

Hi,I have multiple trending P&L Reports that I’ve created where you lose the first column (GL account titles) as you scroll to the right. Similarly, as you scroll down through the reports, you lose the column headers telling you what period you’re looking at. Does anyone know of a way to freeze columns/rows? Thanks

After an upgrade to 2020 R2, I cannot access the edit button (Pencil) on reports & forms. The Report Designer role is assigned to the user. The user is Admin with Administrator Role & Customizer Role. Is there something else to select?This is happening at 2 different instances. Since this was working on them both prior to the upgrade, I don’t think it is a security issue. If the report/form was previously midified, I can edit the version. but not the base version.

We are trying to create an employee validation GI, but can’t figure out where the employee delegate information is stored. Is there something like a data dictionary? Thanks

I am building out a dashboard to monitor campaign activities and I can’t figure out how to connect the CRCampaign and CRActivity tables. The CRActivity table doesn’t have the CampaignID as a field. It does show the campaign, but not as expected [CampaignID, CampaignDesc].Any thoughts on how to pull this off would be appreciated! 

I imported the contacts - I now want to on the mail settings screens assign the contacts to the customer in mail setting - I created an import to do so but it gives me an error saying object need to be GUI has anyone had any success creating an import scenario to assign contacts to the Mailing IDs  ( want to assign contacts to mail receipients for Invoice form

Acumatica supports Fixed Assets Depreciation by “units-of-Production” on top of the usual Straight-Line and Declining-Balance.This ‘units-of-production’ depreciation is useful, especially for the Construction Industry where the Assets are depreciated by the usage-of-the-Assets during construction. While this is documented as available, there is no instruction of how to set this up. We would appreciate if someone who has knowledge of this, please do help to show how to set up this ‘units-of-production’ depreciation. Thank you in advanceRegardsDick Koh

Is there an easy way to add the AddressLine3 to all forms?  We have several implementation, especially those from Sage 90/100, where clients use AddressLine3 and we have to customize all the different screens with address fields to add the field. This would also be a great Acumatica GitHub package to allow partners to download.Thanks,Kurt Bauer

I haven’t been able to find any articles about this issue so I hope it is OK to ask a question here.  I have a sandbox running 2019 R1 19.120.0012.  I updated this site a few weeks ago using the Apply Updates option in the System Management area.  When I try to use the Configuration Wizard to update the database it gives me the following error: Upgrade process has been interrupted. The database cannot be upgraded because your current build (19.120.0012) is incompatible with the build (20.200.0077) you want to install. Wait for the next update package that will be compatible with your current build.The call stack indicates that the installer doesn’t seem to know about 19.120 release. at PX.BulkInsert.Installer.InstallationCommon.IsAllowToUpgrade[t](String currentPrintVersion, String installerPrintVersion, List`1 KnownVersions)   This seems to validate what the 2020 R2 release notes say about the direct upgrade path from 2019 R1 to 2020 R2:Acumatica ERP 2020 R2 can be upgraded from the f

Can someone help me out with is. How can we solve this.

Is it possible to send an unprompted email, or reply to an email, using templates as "canned responses" in acumatica?The only way we have found to insert a notification template is while responding to a lead submission. Everywhere else, it will only allow the insertion of "kb articles" into new emails. Is there a way to make templates available as a source when creating or replying to an email? The option only seems to work if the email activity screen is a popup.

Hello,I’m working on a report that must print the labels for a specific shipment, I have Shipment Nbr, Item ID and Lot Nbr parameters, and I would like to have the report knowing the Inventory ID or LotNbr once the Shipment Nbr value on parameter is entered.The report is working fine if I know the lots or inventory id associated to the shipment, but I would like to have those values displayed associated to the Shipment #. Do you have any guidance on it? 

Hello,     Take invoice screen in automation steps for exampleIf I want to add a new report button, I can use fill with values, and set the value to whatever screenID as I wish. However, when I come to purchase receipt screen. I can NOT add a new report as I wish.      Why is not? How can I solve it?  How can I add a new report print functions on purchase receipt screen. Thank you in advance.        

Trying to figure out the most effective design for collaborating with our subcontractors on schedule / task management. Let’s use lighting fixtures as the example. Lets say our project schedule says our sub should be completing 25 fixtures a day for the next 5 days. We want the sub to update their status on a daily basis and tell us how many they actually completed. Let’s say Monday they completed 22 but ran into problems. Then Tuesday they completed 26, Wednesday 26, Thursday 26, and Friday 25. Would RFI be the right functionality in Project Management to get this information from the subcontractor?I’m thinking we create an RFI and assign it to the sub with scheduled tasks. We email the RFI to the sub and they would then go into Acumatica to update their actual completions against the RFI. Am I thinking about this the right way or is there a more elegant solution?

The Rocky Mountain Acumatica User Group (RMAUG) is based in Denver, Colorado.  Currently the RMAUG is integrated with the Acumatica User Group community.  The RMAUG has been in hiatus during the Q2 & Q3 COVID Pandemic. The Q4 2020 plan is to be coordinated with the Acumatica User Group community.  Stay tuned for future updates.   

Has anyone solved the issue of how to license their customization that is aimed at a specific vertical in order to retain control of their IP?  We’ve been spending a lot of time working on our vertical specific dashboards, reports, and functionality during the last few months and now need to work on how to create a licensing process that will allow us to ‘turn off’ that functionality once a license expires.  We saw an example at Summit but I’m wondering if anyone else has been working on this or has an efficient way of accomplishing this.

I have created a sales analysis query using sales analysis.My query showing Customers - products - qty sold and amount of sales.I am trying to make the report provide total per customer, I can see that when I collapse the customers but do not see the total when taking the report to excel, any one experience on solving this issue?

How do I see the progress on my previous ideas submitted on the old forum?

Hello,    We are calculating commissions based on profits of each AR document.For example, if the total prices of 1 invoice is 1000, and the total cost of all the items on invoice is 800, then the commission would be calculated based on 200.    However, we encountered a case:We did oversell for 1 item, such as item A. and Item A has 0 qty and 0 average cost in system. Supposing, we sold 10 cases item A at price $100, since item A has 0 average cost and 0 ARtran cost, the profit for Item A is calculated to $1000. which is not right in the real world.  The next day, we did receipt on item A with unit cost $80.  So the total profit of item A on that invoice should be only $200.       Is there a way for us to adjust that profit? If we can not do it on that single invoice, can we do a combination of several docs to adjust?
