Good morning, We are integrating with Acumatica via its API, and have run into a situation w/regard to postal code. In the Acumatica UI, I can create a business account without entering a postal code. It doesn’t matter which country I specify in the address fields. Via the Acumatica API, I can create a business account without entering a postal code if I specify the country as France. But if I set the country to US and don’t enter a postal code, the response is a 422 error code specifying a problem with postal code. So it seems the postal code is required by Acumatica API if country = US, but there’s no similar requirement in Acumatica UI. Can any one please shed some light on this? I don’t know where requirements like this might be configured or if there’s a way we can work around this. Thank you, Dave

I see there is an option under the customer to have a default project but when I add a default project I do not see where that comes into play anywhere when I create the service order. What is the purpose of having a field to select a default project for an individual customer if it doesn’t default to the service order being created?

Here’s my question:  The company I work for receives inventory items that are paid by credit card and there is no PO. How do I enter the inventory and the bill that goes with the items.  Thanks for your help. 

Hello,       Take the “release from hold” button on SO screen for example. Currently, I can set this button only can be clickable by certain users using “access rights” function.          But if I set by “acess rights” ,it would effect on all customers on all Sales orders.What I want is to for only certain customer/customer class that we limit the access rights of the “release from hold” button to only a few users. For the rest, all users have right to click the button.Is it possbile?

Hello Everyone, Would there be a reason why some of the features/module is missing in my installation of Acumatica? Has this got to do with licensing etc.? I am using 2020R1 and when I compare this to the SalesDemo data of the same version, the features/module are there but not on my installed Acumatica.  Please help! Hi, is there a work around process whereby a client orders stock items and the system compares the stock item/color and quantities ordered to already defined Kits. If an exact match is found, then the order will be converted automatically to a kit.

I think they: Developer create three branches in github (or other tools) Developer create three local instances (one for each version) What happens with Visual Studio? What are the steps to follow to configure correctly? Developer needs to do something else?

Hi All, In the code snippet below, how do I access the value for the field TranCost? I can’t get to it using row.tranCost. I tried inspecting but I am not able to because the grid is not editable so I always only get the details for the whole grid and not the column I click on. I looked at the table in the database and the field is named TranCost.

We have a business event/import scenario that is creating service orders from cases, but because we are not clicking Actions > Create Service Order from the case itself, the newly created service order does not link back to the case it originated from. I looked at similar import scenario threads that linked other documents together, such as tasks and activities and took that approach with service orders, but it didn’t work. Is this possible without customization?

We need customers to be in more than one Acumatica Customer Price Class for when we sync to Big Commerce.  We need one Customer Price Class for a 10% discount on Item Class A, and one Customer Price Class for a 15% discount on Item Class B.  Our issue is that when we sync to Big Commerce, we seem to be able to put a customer in only one Customer Price Class (called Customer Group in Big Commerce).  Does anyone know how to put a customer in two Customer Groups in Big Commerce?

Hi May i know what is the problem pop up the error message below when i create dashboard - Data table  

I am trying to create a Business Event that sends out an email with a report attached.  The report is using the Invoice form (AR 64.10.00).  The business event is based on a GI, and the GI passes over the Document Type and Number to the report.  Unfortunately, the report prints out over 300+ pages with empty line numbers until the very end and then the correct invoice is shown.  Does anyone know why this would be happening?
