I would like to ask is it possible and how to set outside process (outsourcing) without manufacturing mode. Till now I found solutions only for manufacturers by creating Production Orders but what if there is no production onside and we ship a purchased item to the Vendor for an outside process (coating etc) and then afterwards we receive it back from Vendor ready to sell. How to organize that case in the system in order to calculate costs correctly and track the item?

Hello everyone, I am playing around with the mobile app with warehouse management. I am trying to use the scan and transfer function to transfer between warehouses but the scan and transfer function seems to only allow transfer between locations in a single warehouse. Is there a way to bypass this? Is there any work-around? Thank you

2 of our customers have asked us to hide the Update IN and prepare invoice screen on the shipment screen.I tired to do this with permissions but am not well versed in it. After some research, it looks like I will need to do it through a custom work flow.Is this the right way to do this? Can I tie different workflows to specific roles? If not, do I just create a new screen based on it, add it to the site map and tie that to the role?All advice appreciated and thanks in advance.

I would like to know if there is a way to create draft purchase receipts to track incoming stock. I have attempted to use the Purchase Receipt form but the problem with this is that the moment stock is on a receipt, even if that receipt is on hold, it shows as “Available” in the stock inventory summary and in some stock views.If it were possible to do this it would be an ideal place to store the transit documentation such as the Bill Of Lading and Customs documents and it would be even better if we could somehow use it to give insight/visibility internally on when stock is due to arrive on a line by line basis via a custom GI. Thoughts, comments and suggestions will be much appreciated.  @Naveen B  @Chris Hackett 

Hello, One of our customers has the following problem: he wants to use the creation of matrix items with only 2 attributes: sizes and colors, for which he has respectively 400 possible size values and 4500 possible color values. When he uses the grid in the template screen for matrix items, it simply can’t be loaded and he can’t use this functionality. He doesn’t want to break down the number of possible values in his use case. I have tried this myself with 200 values for 2 attributes, and indeed the time to check a box in the matrix item creation grid, takes at least 5 seconds before I can check another one. Have you ever encountered this kind of situation? Would you have an idea how to handle this request? I have a custom sales invoice listing report with a column for invoice type. I would want to know I can I add a negative sign to my invoice type “credit memo” so as to differentiate them from invoices?

Good dayI have a custom Material usage report I built based on a copy of the standard Historical Inventory Balance report. I am using the “Assembly Out” column which is my consumption as I only work with Assemblies. On the same report I would want to add a column depicts the current or historical material cost of an inventory item. I have tried to add the Last Cost field from the InventoryItem table but this does not bring any results.What method can I use to have the cost price field reflecting the item cost on the report?  

when Sales order not using approval setting, how to solve a back order status in sales order turn into waiting approval if the user change any of the column in detail line ? because approval action is not working..thx

Hello, Is is possible to change the default qty from 0 to 1 while entering line items during quote or sales order entry.  This will speed up the process due to most line entry is only quantity of 1.Thanks

We use the drag and drop file attachemnts to add the customer PO to the SO.In some instances it shows a file in the SO but the file box is empty.What could cause this?ThanksJohn 

Hi, We need to update the Item Cost base on the FIFO cost method. Ex. Item A - 20 Qty with 10$ After add the Laded Cost Value for particular Item Cost, it would be 12$. Have there any possibility to update the Item cost manually? Since user already has completed the landed cost process without adding additional 2$.Now we need to update that additional 2$ to Item. RegardsNethupul  

We have hundreds of items that require Expiration Dates annually. When an Item gets close to its Expiration Date we must have the product Re-Tested. Is there a way to track Expiration Dates without enforcing Lot/Serial Tracking on items?

We would like to change a Unit of Measure UOM of an existing stock item from EA to FT (Foot).  We want to learn the proper procedure to do this.  I trust there is a simple process for this.  Please advise.

This client has recently started having an issue where when they import Acumatica shipments into UPS Worldship, the shipment number from Acumatica fills into the zip code in UPS Worldship. Has anyone else seen this?

Hello, we have an issue where we posted a PI and there was an item that was being adjusted down by a qty of 13 in the warehouse and was entered on a single tag.  In the adjustment that was posted this was split into 2 lines for a qty of 10 and a qty of 3.  The 10 booked to the correct sub account but the 3 went to a default sub account. We have it configured to use the sub account at the warehouse setup for inventory transactions.  The items do not have locations and are not serial or lot and we are using average cost.This happened on about 10 items out of 300 total counted items.I can’t determine why those 3 booked to the default sub account rather than the correctly mapped one.

Hi,  We have attached Approval Process Flows to build.    Following Points need to be considered. (01).  Considering One Project, there are 3 Employees are fixed.         Ex: Level 01-  Quantity Survey Approved then Transfer to Project Manager or Site Manager(Parallelly Approval). This staff only responsible for One project.(02). Head Office QS is Responsible for multiple Projects.(03).  Divisional Heads also responsible for Multiple Projects.(04). Then AGM and Two Parallelly Approval Level.  Need to Build the Approval Logic for Purchase Requisition.  RegardsNethupul    

 Good Morning Forum Members,We are currently in an implementation with our client. I have reached out to support and escalated the issue, but unable to get a sufficient response for the client. They have several process work flow issues with how Acumatica handles shipping. These are some concerns they have with Pick, Pack, Ship features:What happens if they are picking an order into totes and the tote is full? The Pick, Pack, Ship screen requires the user to enter a tote ID for each shipment in the picklist. However, when that tote is full, can the user scan another tote ID for the shipment?Can multiple picklists be shipped together?Can we re-open a package to add additional items? Once confirmed, is there a way to re-open packages to add additional items?Are they able to combine shipments after the picking is done? Thank you in advance, I would really appreciate some

Good afternoon,i have a mess to clean up with integration that created multiple fathom business/customer accounts with the same name but a different account number.  They created when the integration went out of control.  Now, i need away to clean up and delete these  business accounts/ customer profile.  Any suggestions?  Import Scenario?  I don’t want to manually have delete them.Thank youEvan

I am trying to create a purchase receipt approval.  The customer would like to review them before the receipt moves forward.  Is there a best way to set up a process for this?

I understand the overarching design of approvals is to lock a document once approved, needing the document to be placed on hold to be changed and resubmitted for approval and in many cases this make sense.However, once a sales order is approved it seems Acumatica (2021 R2) is also preventing stock from being allocated to the sales order.  This seems a little to restrictive as it prevents order / inventory management without putting it back on hold, allocating stock, and then having to re-submit for approval.Has anyone found a work around for this scenario?

I have been playing with the defaulting rules in Acumatica for Units of Measure. You can set global Units of Measure on the Units of Measure Form (CS203100). You can also set Units of Measure for item classes in the Item Classes screen (IN201000).In either case, it seems like the only way to have these units of measure appear for a given item in a Sales Order is to actually add that Unit of Measure to that individual item’s unit of measure conversion rules (the conversion rules will be defaulted per the above, with any item level relationship taking precedence over any item class relationship and with any item class relationship taking precedence over any global relationship.However, what I haven’t been able to figure out how to do is to say “for every item in this item class, have a conversion from feet to meters, so that we can quote the item in both feet and meters. We are trying to show the ship to on the Sales quote but not having any luck finding the link.  We want to use the ship address in the opportunity and it comes from the CRShippingAddress table.  What would be the best way to link them?  We have tried the @opportunity @quote  but it doubles prints each item in the quote.
