When we figuring out stock depletion, we often run into trouble with quantities on open blanket purchase orders. For example, we will look at inventory summary and inventory allocation to see a list all current inventory on hand, supply and demand. However, there doesn’t seem to be any report tied to the inventory item that includes quantities open on a blanket PO. As a result, contracts reflected in blanket PO’s are overlooked when we’re planning the phase out of an item resulting in all sorts of issues like restocking fees, large scrap values or modifying deployment plans.Is there any way to have visibility to open blanket PO quantities when looking at inventory summary or allocation? Is there any reason that these screens wouldn’t/shouldn’t include quantities on blanket PO?

Hello Everyone,We are looking for to adopt a 7 segment inventory id. One of the segment is Item Class. Thinking about using Attributes and make the id created automatically. Its not clear on how the ids get created using attributes and segments. Already referred Matrix items, Templates as part of the research. Has anyone went through a process of multi segment inventory id. how easy is to create and maintain the records? Is there any value on creating multi segment like for any reporting? Ease of use, read challenge, etc. Any challenges that we should be aware of. Appreciate any insight.Thanks,

Dear Connections: Due to the way this inventory is lot/serial managed, I receive an error when I try to enter the conversion factor: "Fractional unit conversions not supported for serial numbered items."  The conversion factor will be 0.133GM and I'm trying to key in the conversion UNIT PKT SalesUOM>. Even though I also tried switching my BASE UOM to GRM, the problem still persisted.  Appreciate your advise on this situation.  Refer to the attachment below Thanks Ram

Is it possible to create one SO invoice with multiple delivery notes in Acumatica when goods are delivered to separate customers but one customer pay for the products

We have been trying unsuccessfully for several days to get Easypost setup in our acumatica instance.  Anyone know a VAR or someone who can assist us?  Our Shipstation has been down for over a week and we need to ship.    

We have a client that only has Non-stock Items.  They have assigned a non-stock item to a vendor.  However when creating a normal PO, and using the “ADD ITEMS” button on the grid, nothing shows up.This ADD ITEMS button works with inventory items for another client, and narrows the selection to only the items assigned to the vendor.  Why doesn’t it work for non-stock? Am I missing something in the setup? 

We are trying to schedule (automate) our Request to Requisition to PO process. However, we think the process will need manual intervention to change the Requisition status from On Hold to Open before creating POs. Is there an option to turn off the status of the Requisition automatically being created as On Hold? I can see an option to do this for the creation of the PO, in the Purchase Requisition Preferences screen (checkbox called Create Purchase Order on Hold), but nothing for the Requisitions.Thanks.

I’m trying to create a Generic Inquiry in Acumatica for a inventory stock status report. One of the requirements of this report is to show the 12 month rolling avg of the quantity sold for each item. Is there a way to do this in Acumatica? We just need to see the 12mo average quantity sold. I do not see any fields that would provide this information.

Hi, A client has found that an item in the Prepare Replenishment query is showing no value for the Qty to Process screen, but it looks like it should be showing a value since a customer has ordered 2 of this item and the client only has 1 of these in stock. Is this query result incorrect or can you see a reason why the Qty to Process column is set to 0? Kind regards,Andrew 

We have an issue wherein we may enter part of a Sales Order, or the full order, and then place it on hold awaiting some further information. The Sales Order may be on hold for several days.  We are on 22R1 Build 22.119.0027 When you go to Prepare Replenishment, however, the replenishment calculation seems to include all orders, including those on hold, in the demand numbers.  This can cause inventory buyers to purchase items that may not be needed because we have changed the Sales Order lines or quantities before releasing it from On Hold status. Is there a setting to have Replenishment ignore demand from On Hold Sales Order, much like the Inventory Availability Calculation Rules can be configured for various scenarios.  Alternately, it would be useful to have a “Draft” Sales Order Status where the order is not visible at all to other modules in the system

My customer is looking to create a customer credit term where a 35% prepayment is required on initial sales order entry and then the invoice when generated would be an installment of 35% due net 30 and 30% due net 60. Currently you can create Multiple percentage installment plans but cannot require the prepayment at sales order time but it does generate the two invoices with correct due dates. If I do single installment plan, it will allow prepayment but I only can have one due date for the balance due. I can see that you can create an installment plan with a day of zero for 35% but this does not require prepayment on sales order. Just creates an invoice due today. This also assumes I need to invoice immediately before shipping. I think I may be able to get creative with cash discount being 30 days with zero discount % and make the total terms net 60. But feel this could cause confusion. Trying not to customize too much if possible. Any ideas are appreciated! 

Hello!Is there’s a way to use one warehouse for all the branches, without creating multiple warehouses. Since the branch is mandatory in the warehouses profile and it posts transactions for the selected branch of the warehouse, it is unable to use one warehouse for all the branches. Thank you in advance!Amanda

Looking for a Generic Inquiry to get the List of Matrix Items associated to Template Items. 

Is there a way to remove/reverse/delete an Issue so that we can return the Lot Serial number. Most of the time we do not receive the vendor credit memos until after we have Issued out the purchase order/po receipt. And we don’t use the Sales Order System - which has a RMA function but is not useful to us as we issue PO’s directly to the vendor. Also, is there an option to return to warehouse or vendor? We are trying to balance our inventory and making manual adjustments is not an option as we are very large company with hundreds of parts. We are new to Acumatica and any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Is there a process in Acumatica that allows you to do a return, leave the Purchase Order closed/completed, and create a credit?

I have set up Fixed Reorder Qty Replenishment for select products for our 6 Branches and I plan to run it each week to create Transfer Orders.Lets say that in the first week I have a product below it’s threshold for replenishment but Head Office does not have the stock to fill the order so it goes to Back Order.  When I run this again for week 2 the same item will come up again on the Transfer.  Does this method not account for Back Orders?  I realize the parameter is still being met in week 2 to generate the Transfer for this product but shouldn’t the system recognize that there is already a Back Order and leave it off the next Transfer? 

We would like to implement expiry tracking on some of our product ranges, but we’re currently unable to do so due to the following error.IN Error: Lot/serial class cannot be changed when its tracking method is not compatible with the previous class and the item is in use. We have made sure to check the type of exception and that it is not related to a similar issue, and can confirm that we’re making use of the ‘When Received’ method: We have made sure that there is no stock on hand for the item, however, there are quite a few allocated item plans against the stock item:

How do I add a Discount to a document (or line) that removes 15 cents per UNIT sold if the quantity sold is greater than 500 units?  Essentially, this discount will decrease the UNIT PRICE by 15 cents on every line for this customer. I can’t use percentage because the unit prices vary. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good day.I have a requisition created with 12 lines. On the requisition screen, I can scroll up and down to see all items. On view/complete bidding screen under bidding results, I can only see 11 out of the 12 lines on a 15inch screen. If I don't use filters to check any missing items I don't see them on entering the bidding results. is there a way to be able to see all items or navigating to see all items outside getting a bigger screen or using filters.
