Hello everyone,I am currently working on a customization where I want the Contact from the Sales Order (SOOrder) to be displayed in the Shipments (SOShipment). I'm running into issues.What is the best approach to achieve this functionality?Any guidance or code examples would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!

Hi,I’ve attached a subreport to my main report in Acumatica Report Designer. The main report loads fine(alone), but the subreport is taking a very long time to run and causing overall performance issues and keep running The subreport (TE806000) is based on tax with two parameters . Parameters are passed correctly from the main report. When I run the subreport independently with the same parameters, i work fine.I am Attaching both reports. This is my first time working in subreports. The both reports are in initial phase. only testing with few fields right now. Please guide  

Has anyone come across this error when trying to set up a bank feed with American Express?    

Hi Team,I created a custom report. When I print an old Credit Memo, it prints correctly with no issues. However, when I print a new one, it prints blank. I have a question for any Entity mapping expert out there: I’m running into an unusual asymmetry between how the import and export entity mappings are for Sales Orders. We have an Acumatica line-level custom field - AltQuantity for short - which we want to link to the BigCommerce Quantity value of each respective item on a sales order. We have production orders set to ‘Preassign lot serial numbers.’ We can populate each one manually but it is extremely cumbersome.  I am trying to get the below result(base on full box qtys of 60) through an import scenarioThe import scenario functionality has this at the order level but there is no where to specific qty. At the line details level it looks like I would need to manually assign lot # and qty  At the end of the day we are looking for a non-manual way to serialize our full cases of product. While working on 2Q reporting we realized that some employees either had the wrong State SUTA codes or no SUTA codes at all. Does anyone know of a way to correct that to get it into their payroll files? I think we can create a paycheck adjustment to record the tax but not sure how to get the reportable wages to calculate correctly. Thanks

I found this old thread that shows how to track sales order trends year over year, a part of me thinks that something similar can be done with specific inventory items? Has anyone successfully done this? My purchasing team is requesting to be able to see historical sales data of specific stock items.  

Hello,I get below error when trying to create prepayment from Sales order API, where the payment method is “BACS”: Direct deposit.Errors - message - An error has occurred.exceptionMessage - Inserting  'AR Payment' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors.CashAccountID: 'Cash Account' cannot be empty.exceptionType - PX.Api.ContractBased.OutcomeEntityHasErrorsExceptionThe error indicates Cash Account is missing, even though I am sending both payment method and cash account in my request. I can create payment for other payment methods, but same request doesn’t work when payment method is BACS. Are we missing any configuration at Acumatica? I found discussions on same error in the forum but the fix did not work in my case. Has anyone faced this issue, please share your inputs.TIA

In Australia we pay Pay-roll Tax per State/Territory. Example there is NSW Payroll Tax and ACT Payroll Tax. This is not the PAYG Withholding Tax.We have had two new employees set up under NSW Pay-roll Tax when in fact they should have been ACT Pay-roll Tax. I need to fix the pays, so the report has the correct data in it.I fixed up the Pay Details for each employee I then did a pay adjustment for each employee (reverse and re-processed)But the report still has the same figures on it which are incorrect.Is there a specific process to fix this up? 

Hello,  I have a client that is asking for an export from Acumatica that they will upload to their bank so that the bank (Truist) can print checks on their behalf.  This is not an ACH file. We need similar information, but the sample layout is rather different.  Has anyone created an export scenario for this sort of file?  I don’t think check printing outsourcing is uncommon, but I can’t find an existing scenario to start from.  This is likely similar to creating an export or integration to Bill.com, but we need an export not an integration.   Any help is much appreciated!   

I just setup a test instance using the U100 dataset and I cannot sign into the admin account. I have tried username: admin and password: setup as well as password: 123 and username: gibbs/password: 123.  I did encounter a few errors that I had to ignore to get this instance off the ground. There were a few tables in the database that the system had trouble loading data into and I had to skip over them to get the instance to finish setting up. Normally when that happens the usual admin login works and just loads the instance with no data or pre-configuration.  Edit: Just checked the database and somehow no user data made it into the tenant at all. I’ve been having a lot of issues starting new instances and tenants with pre-loaded data, it will just selectively decide not to load data into certain tables and in the end I either have to cancel the task altogether or continue creating the instance with no data. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? 

After the update last night, we have an issue when creating a change order. When we “add commitment” and select a subcontractor, it brings up every SC written to that contractor, rather than just the SC for the current project.  Anyone else having this issue?

How do we set up the Acumatica Payments Customer Portal?I have reviewed all the posts I can find and none of them provide step-by-step instructions on how to set up the Acumatica Payments Customer Portal.  Where do I find this Company Portal? 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to build a Generic Inquiry that combines:OTPAPPurchaseFiltered: to show a total amount based only on FinPeriodID (Created View inSQL)TaxHistory: to show tax details for the same FinPeriodID, but filtered by Vendor and finperiodid which is from OTP in my GIMy goal is:OTP should not be restricted by Vendor — only by FinPeriod. OTP should only show data from that view based on Finperiod that user selected.TaxHistory should be filtered by FinPeriod + Vendor.I can get this to work if I join OTP to TaxHistory, but then the OTP total also filters by Vendor, which I don’t want.If I try to keep OTP as a separate root Data Source, the GI compiler drops the table (FinPeriodID cannot be used because the table is not joined).I added valid Conditions and fields in the Results Grid but still see the error.My question:What is the best practice to show independent results from two different tables with

How do I hide the "Files" and "Notes" columns in a generic inquiry? I don’t mean removing default visibility, I mean suppressing them from the results grid altogether.I have an inquiry related to certain employee attributes that I want all users to be able to see, but I don't want them to see notes or attachments we've placed on employee records. The inquiry is allowing this even if they don’t have access to the underlying records.I looked for a different table join that would marry the PX.Objects.EP.EPEmployee and PS.Objects.CS.CSAnswers tables without using the NoteID/RefNoteID fields, but I couldn’t figure out an alternative.

My manufacturing client is going live shortly, and we are adding their May-Aug fixed assets manually to check the depreciation process etc.  They have a leased asset that they want to put in service for 1/24/2025 and have the Jan-May depreciation all book to May, as they received the invoice in May.  With the 1/24/25 service date, the depreciation is booking to Jan-May.  I cannot close January due to this asset not being depreciated for Jan.  It would not load the asset with the May invoice date with a 1/24/25 in service date, so we used a journal entry with a January date.The other issue is that I changed the 5-year Lease asset class Averaging Convention to Full day from Full period, and it is still calculating full period for this new asset.  Their other 5-year leases (already in service) ‘caught’ the change to the averaging convention and shows the correct monthly depreciation amounts when we run calculate depreciation.  But the new asset does not show the full day averagi

I’m trying to convert a BA to a customer in the import scenario screen. I received an error that said “edit customer”.. I only had the businesss account id  and then the action to extend as customer. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, Is it possible to identify duplicate entries through a generic inquiry, If possible could you please provide a quick guide to detect the duplicate. Example - Customer order number in the invoices and memos form can be duplicated. I need to generate a generic inquiry which picks only the invoices with duplicated Customer order number.  Thanks,Dulanjana 

I am trying to do a prepare a physical count in Acumatica 2025 R1Build 25.101.0153.3 trying to bring the items with zero quantity and they dont show.  This is something I was able to do in version 2024 R2Build 24.207.001 Does anybody know why that is and how I can get this done in version 2025 R1Build 25.101.0153.3?  

Acumatica has a built in function to “recalculate” various balances such as vendor and inventory.  We have been live for eighteen months and have never run these “recalculate” functions.  Recently, we noticed an error in our inventory and our VAR suggested we run the “recalcuate inventory” function. We ran the fuction and it fixed our error.  My questions is should we run all of these “recalculate” functions regularly such as monthly or quarterly?  Is there any harm in running these recalculate funtions more often?  

Greetings, I am trying to work though something, but I am hitting a bit of a wall. This is the request of a client. They have a simple AR tran inquiry but instead of pulling all the records, they only want to pull the most recent ar tran line per customer. It needs to be accurate for that line, so I can’t do any grouping since the values don’t generally fall within the min/max/average solutions.

Unfortunately, our financial contact from our supplier is away on vacation right now, so I’d like to get some clarity in the meantime.Specifically, I’d like to know the recommended steps for:Adding the new cash account for the new bank.Ideally pointing it to the same GL account as the original bank account (so reporting stays clean).Getting EFT set up for the new account.If anyone has experience with Canadian banks and Acumatica EFT setup, I’d really appreciate a walkthrough or best practices.Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Hi ! We use the BL type of Sales Orders to follow quantity Sales and invoiced.I only use non-inventory item with SO Invoice without Shipment. But How could I track the real quantity into customer Order when a credit memo is created for correcting a invoice ?I E : If we create a child SO Order then invoice it and after that create a credit memo(from AR30100 because of no shippment restriction) for some reason with reducing the quantity invoiced. How could the blanket order reflect the real quantity into sales order and invoices linked ? I could copy my SO into a RC one but it would be linked with my BL Sales order. Thank for your help
