We have merged 3 companies together in one instance for the same stock item list and range. Our historical data had incorrect costs in the system and incorrect UOMs and conversion factors. this has all been changed now and the reports going forward are going to be better. Is it possible to correct the historical data to get better sales and margin analysis. we are sorted going forward but we have minimum of 4 months of bad data that the costs and margin need sorting on.
We undertake periodic air-condition units’ maintenance for clients and the norm is the service and spares prices are agreed on annually. These negotiated prices differ from client to client and the AR sales worksheet handles that nicely. Expectation: All inventory hitting a client’s project either from inventory issue or project drop-ship should pick it prices from the agreed figures in the AR sales worksheet. These pricing will feed into the project billingQuestion: Can 2024 R1 handle that or this should be treated as an idea??

Hello community, I am looking for some guidance on how to “reset” a few custom fields on a sales order if the related shipment entry is deleted. I was able to get these fields to update when creating a shipment. However, I am a little lost on how to get them to clear on a shipment deletion. For inserting them I wrote an override to “CreateShipment”. For the deletion, I tried to do a SOShipLine_RowDeleted, but cannot reference the SOOrderEntry due to the “PX1045: A PXGraph instance cannot be created within an event handler.” Any help is much appreciated!Thanks,Adam
Hi Acumaticans.Looking for a check format as noted above. Client refuses to buy new check stock and would be great to not have to reinvent the wheel. This report design is too painful to work with when it comes to making these kinds of layout changes.

When trying to create a new customer I keep getting this error message:“Customer ID is formatted incorrectly” Here is a screenshot:Creating this same customer works in our development environment which has the same version as our live environment. Is there a way - either as a parameter or GI filter - to filter the view of a generic inquiry by item workgroup that I am a member of? We are not looking to set up restrictions, just filter a list of items on a few GIs. We’ve setup each item with a workgroup and can assign employees to one or more workgroup. We’d want to then add a filter or T/F parameter to view only items in “MyWorkGroup” in the same way you can on other process screens like Prepare Replenishment or similar to how @me can be used
Hey there, I have a clunky process that I’d love to get thoughts on how best to improve: Shipment confirmation emails for some of our order types.I’ve always been confused by Acumatica’s out-of-the-box “Email Shipment” Action on the Process Shipments screen. There are some major defects to it:When rows are processed, they don’t drop off the queue. So you cannot schedule this screen, at the risk that the same email could be sent more than once (which is a bad customer experience). Rows drop off this screen once the shipments get invoiced. So if they get invoiced prior to getting emailed, we’ve lost our window to email those out. Can the email template associated with this process action capture all the necessary fields that we want to include in our email? Tracking numbers, tracking URLs, etc. I honestly don’t know.So I guess Business Events come to the rescue...except:They are notoriously frustrating to get working properly. They may just choose not to work and you don’t know why, lol.
We are using the date in the Billing Rule, Invoice settings, Line Description formula. We are using [PmTran.Date] and it give me the MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS AM. Is there a way to format this with just the date?
Hi, We’re relatively new to Acumatica having only gone live earlier this month. We’re currently in the process of configuring everyone’s access rights. We started strict with an aim to control access, and then we’ll lift restrictions as it becomes apparent the requirement for the user is there. My question is, is there a reference list of Screens to User Rights? I know if you hover over the options the screen number is displayed, but trying to find some of the more obscure access rights is simple a trial and error exercise in futility. A search functionality would be really helpful 🙂 Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

We set up an “Approval” process for Purchase Orders, But after we set up a purchase order approval in Acumatica 2024 R1, everyone can still print and send the purchase orders even if the assigned approver has not approved the purchase order. This seems wrong. Our VAR has told us the solution is not take away the rights to print or send the Puchase Order from the our purchasing person. The issue is then the purchasing person who creates our Purchase Orders cannot send Purchase Orders to the Vendor after the Purchase Order is approved. THis seems wrong. We think the Acumatica purchase order approval process is broken or not set up correctly Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, can someone please explain to me why, in a generic inquiry, sometimes reference number or document number shows up as blue and I can drill down to the document, but sometimes I can’t drill down?For example: I can drill into the payment reference number here but nothing gets pulled up when I try to drill into the invoice reference number. And sometimes when I create a GI, the reference number would not even show up as a link.Can anyone explain why this would be?Thanks!!
My company is a seed company and often times we wish to discount a specific lot of seed that may have a lower germination rate, but we don’t want to discount ALL of that seed’s inventory. Is there a way to discount just a specific lot of product? Thanks!

Hi,I’m trying to capture whenever SOOrder status is changed to shipping so that I can do some of my own customization code when this event happens. Originally I had it when createshipment action was triggered. However, I realized it would send even if there was missing items in inventory and it would send even if the shipment wasn’t created. What graph would I look for capturing this event happening. My current code in SOOrderEntry isn’t capturing this change.
Good morning, I am curious, best practice. If I were to cut a handful of refund checks to customers and a few days later those are all cashed. What is the best process or most straight forward process Acumatica offers to reconcile those against the bank deposit?
Is there a way to use a condition in a Generic Inquiry to bring up the records associated with one specific customer name or their account ID? The data will be used in an Excel worksheet and emailed out to the sales rep and the customer in question. I have tried using Customer.ParentID = 123456 BAccountR.ParentBAccountID_description = Disney World Travel in the conditions tab but the GI still brings over everything including customers and accounts numbes not needed.

Hi. I am looking to add in the related Service Appointment Number to the Sales Orders>Invoices GI. Since the only place that number exists is in the FSARTran table, I added that in, but can’t get my relationships right. Here’s what I have now in the Relations tab. I am implementing a client that has 12 entities covering two base currencies. I have setup company groups for use in the restrict visibility field to field in vendor profiles but the problem I am having is there are vendors that need to be available to transact in all entities regardless of the base currency of the entity. This seems like an odd requirement considering we have multi-currency available to resolve vendor currency differences against entity bast currency. When a vendor is used in all entities, ss the only solution available one that requires setting up duplicate vendors for each group?
