Develop Customizations

I’m trying to debug Acumatica 23r1 source code but am unable to get the symbol files to load so my breakpoints are hallowing and say “The Breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document.” I’d like to figure out how to get the source code debugging to work. Also has anyone else been able to debug the Acumatica 23r1 source code?I was using Acumatica 22r2 and I was able to debug that just fine. I also installed Acumatica 21r2 and I could debug that without issues. I tried 2 different builds of 23r1, 100.0138 and 103.0013(making sure to check the box to install the debugging tools), but both had the same issue.I’ve tried clearing my symbol cache via Visual Studio and deleting the TemporaryAspFiles folder where the files seem to get put but I still get the same issue. I’ve also tried installing fresh instances of Acumatica and creating fresh customization projects but that has not worked either. I used hyper-v to create a windows 11 VM(my PC is windows 10

Hi Team,We are working with Build 23.112.0032 and have a requirement to not copy field (attribute) values present under USER-DEFINED FIELD tab while creating new document from existing ones. Can you please suggest the best possible way to achieve it.Thank you!

Hi Team,We have a below requirement and can you please help us with the sample code?In the Estimate screen, we have an image and would like to copy the Image Tab → Image URL field image to the Stock Items screen → Attributes tab when we click on the Create Inventory Items button.  Estimate → Image Tab → Image URL Stock items screen → Attributes tab → Image URL Field

We allow our customers to drop-ship items to their customers directly from our warehouse. We need a way to override the label generated by CONFIRM SHIPMENT in certain cases and put the customers from address instead of our address.  Is there any way to do this already or how complicated is it to do this? I was thinking of an identical button next to the CONFIRM SHIPMENT button that would do the same process but insert the customers address info instead of our address.I’m just trying to see if this is an option at this stage or even if there is a better way to do this. Thanks,Phil

Is it possible to increase the length of the search result of Inventory ID in sales order line?Have tried to expand the column but can’t see the whole description.

I have seen the The multi-part identifier could not be bound error before, but this time it is giving it on my custom field which is simply a string. When I run this with the VS2022 debugger running, the error is not caught, so I am not sure where it is even happening in my code. Hello all, I have upgraded some of my projects to 2023R2 without any issue. Now on one of my projects when I try to upgrade, it compiles without any error but when website restartes I get the below error. I though it could be a mismatched version of this dll with other versions so on a new computer I installed everything from the scratch but I am running into the same issue of my other computer. Hello guys, I am having a problem with the tabs, I have created a new screen and within the new screen I have several tabs, where I complete information, using the existing view of the main one. When I select an existing document and create a new one, the header and detailed information are cleaned, that is correct, however the addresses that are inside tab are not cleaned, they are stuck. Here I show the proof with images.                    image 1:image 2: image 3:This is the logic you use for both the header and the "addresses" tab. public PXSelect<XTGreHead> XTGre; I hope I have been clear with my questions, I would greatly appreciate it, if someone tells me where I am failing, I have been unable to solve it for days and am stressed.

Hi All,I need to get the value of newly added unbound customized field value and also need to set new value to another customized unbound field. I created separated extension class from the parent class and added new fields into it.  public sealed class TaxHistoryMasterExt : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.TX.TaxHistoryMaster>    {        public static bool IsActive()        {            return true;        }        #region PeriodStart        [PXDate()]        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "PeriodStart")]        [PXDefault(typeof(AccessInfo.businessDate))]        public  DateTime? UsrPeriodStart { get; set; }        public abstract class usrPeriodStart : PX.Data.BQL.BqlDateTime.Field<usrPeriodStart> { }        #endregion                #region Period End        [PXDate()]        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "PeriodEnd")]        [PXDefault(typeof(AccessInfo.businessDate))]        public  DateTime? I have included a confirmation message when click on save. If user click yes it proceeds to save. If click no i get this error. I just to to avoid save if click no but instead i get this. Why is that ? My code:  public void ARInvoice_RowPersisting(PXCache cache, PXRowPersistingEventArgs e, PXRowPersisting baseHandler)    {     if (baseHandler!= null)                baseHandler(cache, e);                   WebDialogResult result = Base.Document.Ask("Confirmation", "Do you want to save?", MessageButtons.YesNo);         if (result == WebDialogResult.No)         {             e.Cancel = true; // User clicked "No" in the confirmation dialog, cancel the save operation         }    }

Hi all !I’m facing a localization issue in screen SM206036 (BLC SYImportProcessSingle) with button “Add Substitution” (action “addSubstitutions”) in Acumatica 22.207. Even throught I set the french translation in dictionary for “Add Substitution” expression, the label of this button remains in English in the screen.Below, here is the original screen : Below, the translated screen :  Notes :    I stopped and restarted IIS after this change to force localization refresh,    As far as I could see, we do not have any customization on this screenThat’s weird because the translation of button (action “switchActivation”) just right next button “Add Substitution” wotks fine.Note : same issue with “Replace” (action “viewReplacement”).As I could see, the “switchActivation” action is directly defined in BLC SYImportProcessSingle  used by the screen whereas action “addSubstitutions” is defined in a parent class : SYProcess. The inheritance chainis the following one :SYImportProcessSingle  ->SYI

I created a simple SQL view for table INLocationStatus in customization "TestStockLogMasterInventoryReport" Create VIEW [dbo].[LogoMasterInventoryReport]ASSELECT        TOP (100) PERCENT LS.CompanyID,  LS.InventoryID,  LS.SubItemID, LS.SiteID, LS.LocationID,                     LS.QtyOnHand,   LS.QtyOnHand AS [TotalQtyonHand]      FROM        dbo.INLocationStatus AS LS The table should have 212623 records. But the SQL view only returns 212213 records.I created GI for INLocationStatus, and it return 212623 records. The GI for LogoMasterInventoryReport view only return 212213 records. Does anyone know there is any records restrictions for SQL view in Acumatica? This is for 2023 R2. Thanks.

My customize working properly but when using acumatica software for more than a week. the customize stop working. When I restart IIS Server, It’s working again. I think the problem is not my customize. Do you have any solution on that ?

Hi,I have tried to create Push Notification from my Local Instance, however there was an error occurred and Push Notification is not Processing. Appreciate if some one can help me out with this issue. Best Regards,Kavindu

HelloI am facing an issue with an Acumatica Instance, verison 2021 R2. The problem occurs when order’s come into Acumatica Instance from third party Integration. The Integration works as expected. However, when it creates a Sales Order into Acumatica, it throws an error , An error occurred during processing of the field Subaccount: Subaccount 'System.Object' cannot be found in the system. Please verify whether you have proper access rights to this object. PX.Data.PXOuterException: An error occurred during processing of the field Subaccount: Subaccount 'System.Object' cannot be found in the system. Please verify whether you have proper access rights to this object Note:-The Above error started occuring, when we did a refresh of data, i.e copied data from Live Instance  to Test Tenant. The Instance is on 2021 R2.-When I de-activated sub account on test tenant, I was able to create sales order. Clarification: 1)  Does this issue occur due to subaccount active on two different tenant?2) Is t

I need to retrieve all data when value of branchID field is not selected in printing statements screen. when the branch id is not selected the result should be retrieve all data of printing statements.

This code changes the default calculation for SOLine.CuryUnitPrice on SOOrderEntry:protected virtual void _(Events.FieldDefaulting<SOLine, SOLine.curyUnitPrice> e, PXFieldDefaulting b){ SOLine row = e.Row; if (row is null) return; b?.Invoke(e.Cache, e.Args); var rowExt = row.GetExtension<DSDSOLine_Ext>(); e.NewValue = (row?.OrderQty ?? 0m) * (row?.CuryUnitCost ?? 0m) * (rowExt?.UsrMultiplier ?? 0m); e.Cancel = true;}There are several fields that when updated need to trigger this calculation. I do this exactly like the system does:protected virtual void _(Events.FieldUpdated<SOLine, DSDSOLine_Ext.usrMultiplier> e){ SOLine row = e.Row; if (row is null) return; e.Cache.SetDefaultExt<SOLine.curyUnitPrice>(row);} Unfortunately, despite not actually setting the value of CuryUnitPrice anywhere except the FieldDefaulting event, ‘Manual Price’ gets set to true during this process. I can’t figure out why, and I can’t figure out how to prevent it

Hi there, I am having trouble to display the custom field value for Inventory Item Class in Storage Summary screen as shown below: My DAC:public class StoragePlaceStatusExt : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.IN.StoragePlaceStatus>{ #region UsrItemClass [PXDBString(30,BqlField=typeof(StoragePlaceExt.usrItemClass))] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Item Class")] [PXDBScalar(typeof(Search2<INItemClass.itemClassCD, InnerJoin<InventoryItem, On<InventoryItem.itemClassID, Equal<INItemClass.itemClassID>>>, Where<InventoryItem.inventoryID, Equal<StoragePlaceStatus.inventoryID>>>))] public virtual string UsrItemClass { get; set; } public abstract class usrItemClass : PX.Data.BQL.BqlString.Field<usrItemClass> { } #endregion} When I tried creating the field in Customization Project Editor screen, it seems like it was created in two places: StoragePlace and StoragePlaceStatus. However, referring from the Element Inspector

Good day everyone, I am trying to update the Display name of a field on the AR508000 screen and I get the following error:The underlying field is a surrogate. Attribute overriding for this field is not supported. These are the fields in question on the ARDocumentList data view. I have tried extending the DAC and also tried changing it via the CacheAttached but cannot get it to work correctly or publish it without errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Trying to set default value for a Project Manager Field on Project Screen from Attribute field. Looks like I have set everything in Customization Project but doesnt work. Any ideas?

Hello, Is it possible to link a custom table to an existing screen in Acumatica? I am aware of creating custom fields and adding to existing screens, but wondering if we can add fields from a custom table. I am trying to add a new tab item for the Inventory Maintenance screen and add new options that are in a custom table.

My customer wants GI screens with “Between” on string/varchar fields.  I don’t see a way to do this in a GI.  Am I missing something?
