Hi, I am new to Acumatica and just did the T200 and T210 Training. My customer needs a field that shows all the Vendor Contacts in a Selector (like e.g. when choosing the Vendor in a new PO). From here: So tried building a field that builds a selector in the POOrderExt of the POOrder DAC. Unfortunately nothing works out for me. I tried it with the following code so far: #region UsrVendorContacts [PXDBInt] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Vendor Contact")] [PXSelector(typeof(Search<Contact.contactID, Where<Contact.bAccountID, Equal<Current<POOrder.vendorID>>>>), SubstituteKey = typeof(Contact.displayName), DescriptionField = typeof(Contact.phone1), Filterable = true)] public virtual int? UsrVendorContacts { get; set; } public abstract class usrVendorContacts : PX.Data.BQL.BqlInt.Field<usrVendorContacts> {} #endregionI also checked the datatypes which seem to be int just as my custom field. I also used foreign keys
Hi Team,We are trying to sync the open shipments from Acumatica to Shopify. while syncing facing below issue."The shipment has been filtered because it is not confirmed."So, we disabled the SOOrderShipment.Confirmed field under result grid in BC-Shipments GI and verified still seeing the same Issue. Can I get help on this how to do this. Thanks in advance.
My ultimate goal is to change the background color of the Batch Payment screen grid based on two Boolean fields (UsrIsVendorVerified and UsrIsExcludeFromVerification) in CABatchDetailExt.I attempted to achieve this using a JavaScript attribute, following the guidance from the post:How do I add row highlighting to a customization contained within a Base Acumatica BLC? Since that approach did not work as expected, I tried a simpler test coloring the grid rows without applying any conditions. However, even this did not work.Script:function HighligthLines (){ if(px_all && px_all["grid"] && px_all["grid"].rows) { let lines = px_all["grid"].rows.items; for(let i=0;i<lines.length;i++) { let currentLine=lines[i]; currentLine.style.CssClass = "red20"; currentLine.repaint(); } }}The Grid control doesn’t support a PXJavaScript attribute, so I added the PXJavaScript attribute to the form on the Batch Payment s
Hi everyone,as fas as I understood there is no need to use Visual Studio to implement a customization. However, to extend the featureset the following guide tells me that Visual Studio should be used.Is it possible to add a featureset without Visual Studio?
Hi guys,do u know how i can display the Primary Contact (from vendor) in purchase order ?Just like in Sales OrdersI Hope u can help me.
Is it possible to use PXDefault to make a Customers Primary Contact the default selection when creating Service Orders? If so, how?
I am attempting to use PXForeignReference on a DAC extension to ensure the field is set to null when the referenced document is deleted. It published fine but doesn’t work. Is this possible?(NOTE: at the moment, ReferenceBehavior is ‘Restrict’ which should throw an exception upon deleting)public class DSDPMCostBudget_Ext : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.PM.PMCostBudget>{ public static bool IsActive() => true; #region UsrPDPOType [PXDBString(2, IsUnicode = true)] [POOrderType.List()] [PXDefault(POOrderType.ProjectDropShip, PersistingCheck = PXPersistingCheck.Nothing)] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "PO Type")] public virtual string UsrPDPOType { get; set; } public abstract class usrPDPOType : BqlString.Field<usrPDPOType> { } #endregion #region UsrPDPONbr [PXDBString(15, IsUnicode = true)] [PO.RefNbr(typeof(Search2<POOrder.orderNbr, LeftJoinSingleTable<Vendor, On<POOrder.vendorID, Equal<Vendor.bAccountID>, And<Matc
Hello, I’d like to automate the SOPickingWorksheetProcess processing screen, from the SOShipmentEntry screen. The idea is to programmatically set the filter fields, then loop over the shipments returned, select some based on certain conditions, and hit the Process button. I’m able to do everything up to the point of ‘pressing’ the Process button. I’ve read various article which suggested that programmatically click Process might be possible but no clear method of actually doing it. The main suggestion is to find the method which Processing calls and simply call that. The issue with SOPickingWorksheetProcess is getting access to these methods. The main method is ProcessShipmentsHandler, but this is private, so I cannot call from outside the class.A more promising method is called ProcessShipments, but this is protected virtual, so I cannot call from outside the class, or a derived class. I have attempted to create a wrapper class around SOPickingWorksheetProcess, my custom method RunCre
I have a screen in Classic UI. there is a Parameters grid in the lower. After adding data to the Parameters grid, it reflected in the Formula Editor when click on Equation field and inside the Fields node. This works correctly in Classic UI likeso, to achieve this, written code in the ASPX.CS file to retrieve parameters inside the Fields node-------------------------------aspx-----------------<pxa:PXFormulaCombo ID="edChildField" runat="server" DataField="Equation" EditButton="True" FieldsAutoRefresh="True" FieldsRootAutoRefresh="true" LastNodeName="Fields" PanelAutoRefresh="True" IsInternalVisible="false" IsExternalVisible="false" OnRootFieldsNeeded="edOns_RootFieldsNeeded" CommitChanges="true"/> -------------aspx.cs:- ------------------------------protected void edOns_RootFieldsNeeded(object sender, PXCallBackEventArgs e) { EWQCVariableMaint graph = this.ds.DataGraph as EWQCVariableMaint; if (graph != null) { String[] parameters = graph.GetAllPar
Hi, We need to enter additional information when entering sales order lines/Bill and adjustment form.We can use, user defined attribute in Header Level. As mentioned need some information when enter line information using predefined attribute values. RegardsNethupul
Hello Community,I have created a custom popup dialog in the Sales Order Entry screen that prompts users for additional fields, when they Save or Remove Hold on an order.Currently, the dialog shows the default title "Details".I would like to dynamically change the dialog title so that it gives more context to the user. For example:Opportunity <OpportunityID of the linked Opportunity> - Close as Wone.g. Opportunity OP000123 - Close as Won I tried using PXDialog.SetCaption(...), but I ran into the error:CS0103: The name 'PXDialog' does not exist in the current contextThis suggests that my project does not recognize the PXDialog class, even though I’ve added the code inside the AskExt initializer.and custom dialog box is only in Code Editor & I’m, calling it from Key = Document (No Action Created) I changed the name for testingQuestions: What is the correct way to override or set the caption/title of a popup shown by AskExt?
Would someone be willing to review this sample customization and confirm if it’s a bug that needs to be reported, or if I’m not attaching the file correctly? You can see the screenshots below, showing the UploadFile.Name field in the Database, before and after sending the email. This change to the file name happens during the PXNoteAttribute.AttachFile() method call. The record key fields in the file name are changed to a GUID. Files Names before sending the email.File Names after sending the email.I was able to solve this by programmatically creating a copy of the file, then attaching that to the email. However, we really don’t want to be creating that many duplicate files. This causes an issue in our production instance: We have a lot of revisions on our sales orders, and with this bug, when new files are uploaded after sending the email, a duplicate is created, rather than a new file revision, because the names don’t match anymore.
Hello ,We have developed several customization packages for one of our clients. These packages are published on a regular schedule (daily, weekly, or based on new feature deployments).Currently, every time we publish customization packages on the live site:The application restarts automatically. We need to ensure that no users are logged in at the time of publishing. This creates downtime and risk if someone is actively working in the system. We have also tried automating the deployment process using the Customization API (via Postman), but we observed the same behavior — the server restarts after publishing. Our Questions:Is there a way to publish customization packages while users are working, without causing downtime? What are the risks and potential data integrity issues if customizations are published while users are active? Are there any best practices or guidelines from Acumatica regarding safely deploying customizations in production? Are there recommended deployment strategies (e.g.,
I’ve read everything I can find on debugging Acumatica source code, and I can’t figure this out. I’m trying to debug the PXNoteAttribute.AttachFile() method in the PX.Data.dll. For some reason it’s renaming files with a GUID, when we programmatically attach them to an email. I’ve done all the things like unchecking the “Just my Code” option in the Visual Studio debugging options, specified the correct location for the pdb files, and ensured that the dll and pdb file are from the same version. As the screenshot shows, the modules window looks like it’s gonna work, and tells me the symbols are loaded, but the breakpoint shows the warning, and says they can’t be loaded. What might I be missing?
I am trying to utilize the built in functionality PX.Data.XLSXReader to read an uploaded/imported Excel file. The problem I am having is that all rows above the row which is used to define the _headerRow within the file seem to be ignored and there is no way to reset the position on the reader above the row designated as the _headerRow that I can find.In my Excel document, I have some header information I need to parse in rows above the _headerRow. Is there a way to parse these rows, or do I need to use a different Excel reader? If I need to utilize a different Excel reader, are there any requirements or rules to using external open source NuGet packages I need to be aware of when choosing one for the Excel reader?
I have a simple maintenance screen, where each record is a “Commission Rule”.The “Include If” field is a formula that will be built to return True or False, to determine if the rule should be “included” in commission pay. I’ve set up some dummy data, and have been able to get some sample values to show up in the “Fields” section. How can I populate the values for these variables at runtime with data from the current record being processed, and calculate the result? Can I? I’ve done a lot of digging in the source code, and I haven’t been able to figure it out. All the usages of the formula field in Generic Inquires and the Product Configurator seem way more complicated than what I’m attempting here.
I created a custom setup screen with a DAC (**Setup) and SQL table. The CompanyID value stays, but all other values get cleared every time I republish the customization package. My DAC doesn’t currently include CompanyID (only in SQL).Why are my saved values being cleared after publish, and what is the correct way to handle CompanyID in a custom setup DAC?
I’m trying to add Access Rights to my Customization Project, but it’s not working!I click the Add button on the Access Rights page of the Customization Project Editor, key a screen code or click the screen name selector, and … nothing happens. I eventually get a popup:Localhost says:Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. I’ve restarted the IIS App Pool. Rebooted. Republished. No difference. I eventually used SQL Profiler to find the offending SQL query. It’s this one…SELECT /* AU.20.52.00, 388CE942 */ MAX( [SiteMap].[NodeID]), /*some field omitted for brevity*/ [SiteMap].[ScreenID], MAX( [RolesInCacheInProject].[CreatedByScreenID]), MAX( [RolesInCacheInProject].[CreatedDateTime]), MAX( [RolesInMemberInProject].[CompanyID])FROM [SiteMap] [SiteMap] with (nolock)LEFT JOIN [RolesInGraph] [RolesInGraphInProject] with (nolock) ON ( [RolesInGraphInProject].[CompanyID] IN ( 1, 2) AND 8 = SUBSTRING( [
Hello everyone,I have created a custom field named `UsrPMV1` that should allow me to select an employee. This field has been added to the `BAccount` table and configured as a dropdown (`PXSelector`). It is supposed to fetch data from the `EPEmployee` class and display values from its `AcctCD` field. However, when I test it on the form, the dropdown remains empty. Here is my current code:namespace PX.Objects.CR{ public class BAccountCustomExt : PXCacheExtension<PX.Objects.CR.BAccount> { #region UsrPMV1 [PXDBString(200)] [PXUIField(DisplayName = "MA Product Management")] [PXSelector( typeof(Search<EPEmployee.acctCD>), typeof(EPEmployee.acctCD), typeof(EPEmployee.bAccountID), SubstituteKey = typeof(EPEmployee.acctCD), DescriptionField = typeof(EPEmployee.acctName) )] public virtual string UsrPMV1 { get; set; } public abstract class usrPMV1 : PX.Data.BQ
Hi All.I have created a custom calculated field in the Price/Cost tab of the Inventory Item screen. It is working fine and populating data there, but in the Generic Inquiry (GI) it shows null values for some rows. However, when I click on an item from the GI and open the Price/Cost tab, I can see that the data exists. Can anyone guide me on what might be causing this?I have attach the customization Package

We are implementing a customization to enforce credit card pre-authorization (AuthOnly) as part of the Sales Order workflow. However, during testing in the cloud instance, we encountered a blocking issue: the Authorize.Net (AUTHNET) processing center does not support the "Authorize" action, only "Capture."Error Message (in Create Prepayment popup):“The AUTHNET processing center does not support the Authorize action. The Capture action is supported only for payments that were pre-authorized externally.” Test Context: Environment: Test (non-production) Screen: Sales Orders (SO301000) Action: Create Prepayment → CC – Credit Card → New Card Proc. Center: Authorize.Net Related Thread (Previously Logged):This issue relates to a customization discussed earlier in the Acumatica Community forum:Acumatica Community Thread – Automatically Trigger Credit Card Authorization Popup (Authorize.Net)We received some detailed guidance to: Extend SOOrderEntry Block shipment or order exit actions
We’ve noticed that the Approve and Reject buttons are currently visible not only to the current approvers, but also to record submitters and other approvers who are not part of the current approval step.Could you please advise on how we can restrict the visibility of these buttons so that they are shown only to the current approver in the workflow?Looking forward to your guidance.
Is there a way to add a custom action on this? I want to add a download all button on it.
Hi everyone, when I create an invoice directly from an opportunity, the invoice date is automatically set to the opportunity’s estimated close date. However, I would prefer it to default to the current date instead, while still allowing manual adjustments if needed. Is there a way to configure this behavior? Thanks in advance!Best regards
