We want to be able to use the file uploader to add parts to an opportunity details. In order for the pricing of the parts to not default back to the parts original value in inventory pricing the Manual Price check box need to be set to True. This column is not available as an option in the upload tab. Can it be added?  

Recently we start to have this error for incoming emails, not often, but couples a week. The email actually were processed into case activity and created records with cancelled status, and email itself are with failed status and won’t get re-processed Version: 23R1 110.0025

We have a unique process that requires frequent changes to Project Quote line items by inserting groupings of design changes (several line items, different stages of the Project Quote / Opportunity) from a 3rd party CAD Excel export. We have all the functionality and mapping working well, but the users have asked if the selection step can be customized to have Insert All Records as the initial/default mode.  I cannot locate this dialog box in the Customization Editor for this screen (PM304500).Any guidance or other suggestions is appreciated.  Thanks! 

We have a client that has 2 users that need to see the same Tasks on their Task List.Access rights are the same for both users...what settings drive what shows up on a users Task list?What am I missing? User #1 sees this list - sorry it’s blurryUser #2 sees this list: 

I have a user that personalized a dashboard and wants to share it with other users. Since the Allow Users to Personalize box is checked, is creating a new dashboard and adding the same widgets the only way to share? I haven't found another way.

I’ve been trying to find actual work instructions on how to create a Parent/ child accounts. Ex: One builder/ Multiple job location sites (fireplace installations).  Each location gets billed out with its own unique sales order, but the billing will go to the Parent (main builder)  Please help if you can. thank you !!

Introduction:With Acumatica, you can set up email accounts across the platform. Acumatica uses the email system to communicate with customers in the Acumatica CRM or to send a copy of a document. When using the Acumatica Cases system, you can have an incoming email create a new case.Acumatica can append a tag to the suffix of an email’s subject to keep track of incoming emails and connect the email to the proper entity. This tag is then parsed on incoming emails to relate the email to the originating email or entity.

We have a number of user-defined fields on our Cases screen that also reside on our Business Accounts screen. When a new case is created, we want those Case UDF’s to default to the UDF value set on the Business Account.What’s the best way to accomplish this? Code? Workflow customization? Business Event?

I have a customer that uses the CRM extensively to map their Leasing process. This means that they will send an email from inside the opportunitty to some other member of the team to have it logged. The issue we’re facing is that is hard to track these emails because it doesn’t have the entity information:I know that in Acumatica it’s properly linked to the opportunity, but as far as usability, it would be very helpful to have the OpportunityID attached to the end of the subject line or as part of the body without the user having to type it each time.Any thoughts?

Has anyone found a way to modify the default template used when creating an email from a Case? Something is automatically populating the subject line and To address, but would it require customization to change or is it something we can change easily?

I am trying to add quoteNbr to my Opportunities screen. I made it to where you can see the column for quoteNbr but nothing populates. What am I missing on my generic inquiry to pull that over???

I have some attributes that I have set up and added to a particular Contact Class. Of the 5 attributes on that Contact Class I want to make it so that three of them are read only for my Support Representatives. I am struggling to find the field level attribute location that will allow me to set it to read only. I noticed in a previous post related to attributes in Item Classes that the Item Class had an attribute section and I can find a similar thing the access tree for Contact Class but I can’t find a listing of the specific attribute that I want to set the permission level on. Any help on this query would be greatly appreciated.

We are transitioning to using Outlook PWA and have found the Acumatica Add-In won’t load. We’ve been using it from the desktop app but when we convert a user to PWA it doesn’t show up. We tried delring and reinstalling it, we also tried loading it from the admin portal and still nothing. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a way to resolve it? 

How do I use the @me value on a dashboard? Each time I add the @me, it changes to 0 when I save.  

Hi, I have an email template that is being send out by a business event triggered by record change on a sales order, I would like the owner and workgroup of the email to change dynamically based on the user created of the sales order.  I there anyway this can be accomplished?

We generate our PDF proposals outside of Acumatica. We are looking to send a reminder email with either an attached PDF or link to a web hosted PDF via Acumatica’s business events. We know how to perform all of the automation but because the PDF is not generated by Acumatica we can’t seem to figure out how to tell Acumatica to attach it. The other option we’ve looked as is using a weblink however that (from what I understand) cannot be automated.

Is there a way to release multiple AP or AR invoices on hold at the same time or must you go into each one and release one by one?  We want them to be on hold for safety reasons but we also would like to select multiple invoices and click “Remove Hold” instead of doing it individually. Thanks,

Hello,I can’t figure out how to populate this field through an import scenario. I’m trying to automate the closure of opportunities (Action: Close as won), but I won’t be able to do that until I can map to this field.any help?
