Hello, We use Acumatica to send emails often, and the outing going emails are actually not needed. It takes me a lot time and effort to delete them twice on screen “All emails” CO409070. But I happened to find these records, even if I have clicked delete twice on screen to delete(first time make processed to deleted, second time makes it disappeared from screen.) The table space usage are NOT actually reduced. Because it is still in DB, just with “DeletedDatabaseRecord =1 ”. I am not quite understand why this is designed this way. My question is, if we just Delete * from SMEmail where CreatedDateTime <='2022-09-30 20:30:55.027' and DeletedDatabaseRecord =1 . Would it be OK?
I like how I can click the VIEW HISTORY button on the Automation Schedules (SM205020) screen to see when the Automation Schedule ran, how many records were processed, if there were any errors, etc.But I’d also like to know how long the Automation Schedule took to run. Something like an Execution Completed column with a Date / Timestamp would be nice.I’m trying to find out how long my Automation Schedules are taking. Some of them might only take 5 minutes, while others might run for over an hour. It’s important to know if some Automation Schedules are overlapping each other because sometimes you want to make sure that a certain Automation Schedule finishes before another certain Automation Schedule starts.Does anyone know if there is a way to find how long an Automation Schedule ran for?
Hi,A client is having an issue where they receive the error below on occasion, but sometimes it happens more frequently than other days.Have you ever run into a similar issue before? Hi All,On Inventory Transaction Summary IN406000, The column Warehouse has been definedFrom my understanding of the definition, Column Warehouse will be invisible if Warehouse Details are clear. However, on my system, this column is still displayed with or without a check box This issue (display Warehouse when Warehouse Details is clear) is so nfusing. The system will display the random WH, even though there is no qty in that WH.For example:Clear box Warehouse DetailsCheck box Warehouse Details Has anyone got this issue? is it normal or a defect from the system?
Just looking to see what best practices others have around improving performance of GI’s, pivots, reports inside of Acumatica. We have a client that does a lot of transactions (Project trans, Inventory trans, Sales Order trans). We’ve created many custom GI’s, pivots and reports (some utilizing custom DACs) for their data reporting needs. As their data and transactions grow, some of these are getting very slow to run. Maybe some of these are written poorly but many I don’t think there would be a better way. Is anyone out there creating custom indexes to address performance issues? I know we can use Request profiler in Acumatica to identify problem queries or SQL tools if we have a local test instance. Any best-practices or “gotchas” anyone wants to share on custom indexes and Acumatica? I know there are requirements around multi-tenancy (i.e, include CompanyID in the index). Any other thoughts or tools people have found helpful? Or are people just moving to 3rd party data ware
With our company we have had to refresh out Sandbox Tenant a couple times within the past month. The first time I did this using the Copy Tenant function it took approximately 40 – 45 Minutes. The second time refreshing the Sandbox again and I am now over 70 minutes and it has been at most 30 days since the last refresh using the same function.For context the we have been on Acumatica for a year and the last size of our data was approximately 13GB averaging 1.08 GB of data each month of production. The time increase within 30 days seems a bit extreme for such a small amount of data. My question is if there is any insight anyone could provide as to how the Copy Tenant function works and any potential tips for data management with Acumatica?Thank you in advance!

From the user interface they are not available and the system has been optimized.Is there a way I can delete the snapshots from the Database instead? if anyone may have a suggestion on how to go along with this, kindly assist since they have taken too much of the system space. I’d like to lockdown accounts being used for integration purposes via IP Filter. I’ve done this successfully already but have run into a bit of a blip. I do a lot of my testing through postman.co and can’t seem to figure out the IP or range they’re using so I can add them to the IP Filter within the User. I then had a thought… it might be a solid idea to be able to report user’s activity including the originating IP. This would be a sort of du diligence in my mind. To be fair, we are considering 2fa via MS365 but I think there’s still merit to this. Thoughts? Does something already exist that I might not be aware of? Thanks in advance ;-)
Hi,We have a site that uses the Pick,Pack and Ship screen to dispatch shipments. As part of there proof of dispatch procedure they take a photo of the items before dispatch. These attached photos are really only needed for around a month as the item will have been delivered in this time so we need to come up with a way to delete them on mass as they are a SaaS site and its eating rather a lot of there allocated space!I’ve attached a GI that shows what i mean. Any ideas how to remove them? CheersAndy
Has anyone else noticed this behavior on 2020R2 and later versions?We are seeing this on a third client environment, and the second time for this particular environ.On Feb 28th Tenant 3 had a full snap shot taken and restored to Test Tenant 4. Beginning on the morning or March 3 when a user logged into tenant 4 (or switched from tenant 3 to tenant 4) and this exceeded the 2 concurrent user limit in tenant 4... users logged into tenant 3 were logged out with the message “You have been logged out due to exceeding the number of tenants in the system.”Restarting the application, via Application Updates SM203510, seems to have resolved the issue and we plan to add this step to our snapshot process for migrating data from PROD to QA/Training environs.The same thing happened on a Snapshot done on Jan 10, and users logging in throughout the day Jan 11 received this error. Acumatica restarted the server and we had no further issues.
Hi @all,I wanted to upgrade my instance from Build version 21.113.0011 to the latest 2023 R1 version. Have already uploaded the SQL database back up format of the system to test the upgrade offline. Have also installed Acumatica configuration wizard of build version 21.113.0011 same as my live instance and deploy an instance on it to help me test the upgrade offline.Which place actually should I perform the upgrade? is it on the configuration wizard or on the instance: -System > Management > Process > Apply Updates>Download Package>validate customization……..Which place exactly?
Hi @all,Have been trying to configure Automation Schedule to email statements. When I select Bi monthly which is the statement cycle ID set up for my customers no records come into view as shown;- What actually causes this? And again what if I continue configuring the automation schedule, will it be able to email the statements even if no customer records appears?
The F105 course page 57 shows that you can unlock a financial period. On the Manage Financial Periods GL503000 does not have an option “Unlock” - it only has “Open, Close, Lock, Deactivate”Please correct manual - but preferably please make changes in Acumatica R1-2020 that indeed a Locked Period can be Unlocked.
