Hi,I have someone entering an expense claim using a specific Expense Item. Normally this item is taxable and has taxes calculated but in his instance, the supplier is not charging tax. How can the person entering their expense claim put the tax amount to zero as the taxes get calculated automatically based on the tax category and configuration. This could be the case on expense claims, or on PO’s or in AP Billls too. When I try to set it to zero I get the following error:

Hi!Why is user sorting not saving from the Column Configuration window? For example, on the Projects screen, Cost Budget tab, I can sort by revised budget, but clicking the icon where the rows and columns meet and clicking OK does not save my sort.Thank you,Dave Z

What field stores the Sales Rep  assigned to a Project. I want to include it in a report, maybe based on a Generic Inquiry

Since our policy is that any time spent on a service appointment after 4:30 is considered overtime, we want the overtime rate to be used automatically in calculating the total labor on invoice. Are there any suggestions on how to do this? Or would it be a customization?

Hello,We have a production order with the status of “completed” which we need to close. When we attempt to close, it fails and tells us there is unreleased transactions. When I attempt to release the offending labor transaction, it fails and say it can’t process because the production order is “completed”.Seems like a catch 22 here.I can’t close the production order because of the unreleased labor.I can’t release the labor because the production order is completed. There is no way to change the status of the production order to allow corrections. Thanks for any guidance!

I am trying to Export the “Debit Adjustment” records using Export Scenario from Bills and Adjustment screen but it always returns the “Bill” Type records. I have applied the Type mapping as Type=’Debit Adj.”Herewith, I have attached the Export XML. Does anyone help will be appreciated.

Does anybody know if you can link a file from an original document to a new document?  For example, if a file is linked to a Bill, can it automatically be passed to the Check document? Thanks -- Sandy

Right now all of our current customers are defaulted to ‘Send Invoices by Email’ & ‘Send Statements by Email’.  I believe it was how they imported it.  I need to deselect these options for all but a handful of customers that need to be emailed their invoices.  We have over 16,000 customers so going one by one isn’t really an option. Is there a way I can do a mass update to deselect these options for everyone then I can assign them to the few that needs to be emailed?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,Is there a report to check to see the top selling items by month?

Rookie question on ARM Reporting:I’ve modified a P&L column set to have three columns MTD/PTD/YTD actual values.I can’t figure out the right settings in the Data Source section of the Column Definition.Example of issue:  Printing report for January 2021 I ‘should’ get all three columns to be equal. But the result I am getting is shown below. The MTD Data source is set to The PTD Data Source is set to:The YTD Data Source is set to (I think this one is correct) I am looking for help on what the correct Data Source configuration should be for MTD, PTD, and YTD columns.Thank you,Mike Lupro

This formula works for the YTD Column in my Column Set.=IIf(Left(@StartPeriod,2)='01',Left(Report.GetPeriodDescription(@StartPeriod),3)+' '+Right(@StartPeriod,4),Left(Report.GetPeriodDescription('01'+Right(@StartPeriod,4)),3)+' '+Right(@StartPeriod,4)+'-'+Left(Report.GetPeriodDescription(@StartPeriod),3)+' '+Right(@StartPeriod,4))But it does not work for my PTD column set. What would be the correct formula for my PTD column to display Oct 2021 - Nov 2021 when I run the report for the November period. And, while we are at it, what would the correct formula be for the MTD column to display Nov 2021? Mike Lupro

We are trying to join project addresses to each project in a report.  We have done it GI without a problem using the PMProject.projectid and PmSiteAddress.contractid fields in each table. But when we go to report writer we are not able to see the same fields. We tried PMProject.Locationid = PmsiteAddress.addressid without success.  Has anyone done this in report writer successfully? Thanks

Hi, Need to remove Inventory following allocation transaction. Actual Transaction is not showing this. But it is showing Inventory Balance Report. No need to show this Item. We disallow Item Negative balance in item class Level. Inventory Balance Report Item Class Level.

Background: In the project that I am currently working on, A hard-coded Change Date of 12/31/2021 was chosen to be used for all the Change Requests coming over from a legacy Sage system. The Change requests have been imported and I have generated the Change Orders. The freshly generated Change Orders will use the Change Dates and Approval Dates from the Client’s legacy Sage System. All of the dates coming in from Sage, are all prior to 12/31/2021. Question: From a functional standpoint, would having a Change Order (Change Date or Approval Date) that is prior to the Change Request (Change Date), cause any issues when the client processes their billing? Thank you for reading this.-Ken Severud

Hello All,      According my using experience, all documents in Acumatica after releasing can NOT be deleted anymore. Is this right?     But as I searched all help document , I did not find any words that describing this clearly?  Can anyone show me where I can find the written words. Thank you.

Is there an easy way to revalue inventory for a specific item/site? Best I have found is inventory adjustments, but then you cannot add inventory to the same receipt because the costing is tied to the receipt.  We had a incorrectly costed move due to a incorrect AP entry for a sub component.

Customer upgraded from 2019 recently and the highlighted item below “Update IN – Confirmed not billable” is what he used to select when processing sales orders that did not need to be billed (such as when you send out a sample shipment to a customer). Does anyone know if this has been replaced or why this is no longer there?  Is there another way to have these items selected when processing shipments?I confirmed it’s in 2020R1, not in 2020R2. Nothing in the initial release notes for 2020R2.D100 training references it 2020R1 as well, and not in 2020R2. Oddly enough, the documentation still mentions the action: “Update IN - Confirm Not Billable: To generate inventory documents for shipments made for transfer orders and returns with replacements.”Thx!-Chad» Screenshot from 2020R1

I’m looking for clarification on how to configure Field Level Auditing. How do you know which Tables and Fields to select on the Audit screen? Example:I wanted to audit changes to the SALESPERSONS tab of the Customers screen, which corresponds to the “CustSalesPeople” table. I tried to set up field level auditing by selecting the relevant Table and Fields on the Audit screen, as advised in the wiki. I only wanted to track changes to the Customer Salespersons table, so I only selected that Table. However, none of my changes were tracked with this config. Through some trial and error, I was able to get the audit working by also selecting the BACCOUNT and CUSTOMER tables. Can anyone explain why I needed to select these additional tables? Understanding this would make setting up auditing much simpler in the future. Thanks!

Hi, We need to restrict Project selection while issuing Inventory Items. For Instance,  System show all the projects when open the project in line level. In business scenario customer assign one employee for few particular projects or one project.(Max 2 projects).Requirement is when appropriate Employee login and select the project while issue items, system should show those specific projects. RegardsNethupul

I’m new to Acumatica and trying to get my head around adding what seems like a simple customisation.  I've been trying to get a warning to show when the line total is less than 50 on a Sales Order.  I have looked at other examples of how to raise a warning and tried various things but I’m not entirely sure what event handler it should go in as it’s not a user updatable field. I also think I should be using a different method to show the error but not sure what. The following is what I have:protected void SOOrder_CuryLineTotal_FieldVerifying(PXCache cache, PXFieldVerifyingEventArgs e, PXFieldVerifying InvokeBaseHandler) { if(InvokeBaseHandler != null) InvokeBaseHandler(cache, e); var row = (SOOrder)e.Row; if (row == null) return; if (row.CuryLineTotal < 50) { throw new PXSetPropertyException("The order total is below the Wholesale minimum of $50.", PXErrorLevel.Warning); } }The error gets thrown as a message box on the screen before I

I have a custom screen that has a parent/child standard editing form similar to sales orders in how it looks.Under the child grid or above it, I'd like to put a control that is bound to the same table/field as the child grid.It works to show the initial record's value from the child grid, but as I select different rows in the child grid it doesn't refresh with the proper values.  It always shows/edits the first value from the grid. Is there any way to get the control to show the right value from the grid and work like this?I realize I can put in the edit mode for the grid, but for ease of use this one field (multi-line HTML Editor) really needs to just allow the user to click on the row and edit the value easily. Edit:  Sorry this somehow posted to distribution.  Should have been in Customizations but I can’t figure out how to move it!
