Hi,
We need to restrict Project selection while issuing Inventory Items.
For Instance,
System show all the projects when open the project in line level.
In business scenario customer assign one employee for few particular projects or one project.
(Max 2 projects).
Requirement is when appropriate Employee login and select the project while issue items,
system should show those specific projects.

This is NOT a complex customization, we need to override the Project ID selector filed and load the projects based on the Employee restriction.

OOB, we have don’t have any feature to restrict the Projects based on the Inventory ID, and to achieve this it may requires the customization.

Main Requirement is base on Employee Id need to restrict the project selection.

You can use ‘Project access’ (PM102000) restriction group which allows you assign one or more Projects to specific users. Users should be able to see only those Projects on Project lookup on detail line Project column.
