Solved

Hi,I have been playing around the customization Project. I have added a new filed Excise Duty in the details tab of the Sales Order Screen SO30100. Now I want that Excise Duty to be 4% of the Quantity.  But I am getting error ofBelow is my DAC and I have added code to calculate the Excise Duty

I want to add a new field that will allow me to pick a list of employees or users. Or that will allow me to link to an attribute that I already have with employee names. I have added the field already thru customization, but am stuck trying to figure out the pick list. Am I doing it correctly? My main goal is to put a pick list of employee on my project quote screen, so that I can then view it on the inquiry screen as a column and create reports. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi! We have a user that wants to be able to see the transactions behind the Availability total seen in the Inventory Summary page. We already explained to the user that the availability calculation is set at the item class level. Is there something in Acumatica that already exists that could show what transactions affect that total? OR is there a way to create a GI to explain what that total consists of from different data tables? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Hi folks, i’m looking for an possibility to identify the system that sent a push-notification.The notification body looks like that:{ "Inserted": [ { .... } ], "Deleted": [], "Query": "<my_query>", "CompanyId": "<my_company>", "Id": "8d6d670d-86e0-477f-a8cc-343b578ba3dd", "TimeStamp": 638775642732888022, "AdditionalInfo": { "PXPerformanceInfoStartTime": "03/14/2025 15:51:12" }} However, if i receive push notifications from different systems (different domains) i can’t figure out which system sent the notification. I only have the company id but I don’t think that the companyid is unique. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi!does acumatica have the functionality to add landed costs to a sales order? i couldn't find anything and the closest I could get was creating a non-stock item for the landed costs (in this case, tariffs) and added that as a new line on the sales order.  in our clients case, the landed cost is not added to the cost of the item.would love to hear what others are doing or if this is on the roadmap for added functionality thanks! Iqra

I’m trying to work on a GI to show my Inventory Manager all Warehouse locations that currently do not have inventory in them.  This is a way to see how many open locations exist, build out a storage capacity percentage, and help receiving pick locations to put inventory away. I’ve tried something as simple as looking at INLocationStatus and filtering out there QtyonHand = 0, but all that seems to be doing is showing me inventory IDs that had a reference there at one point, that is currently at 0.  I can look at that location and still see inventory allocated there in the system.I’m curious what I am missing.  Do I need to find a why to sum all inventory IDs as a location first, then show only the ones that equal zero?

Hi! Long post alert… just want to say i appreciate your time in advance. I’d love to hear how others have handled configuring variations of a product without using manufacturing. Our client is a manufacturer’s representative that has expanded into distributing manufactured products from their warehouse. One of their manufacturers provides a base product that is always customized to the customer’s request—customers rarely, if ever, order the base product as-is.To streamline fulfillment, the client has identified common configurations of this product and now stocks those pre-assembled versions in their warehouse. These configurations involve minor modifications, such as swapping out the base pressure valve for an upgraded version. Additionally, the client stocks individual parts, which can also be sold separately.Item Setup Overview:Mfg. Base Model 1 – Not stocked, never ordered directly. Model1V1, Model1V2, etc. – Pre-configured versions of the base model. These items are set up as kits,

HI,I have recently installed SQL Server and the Acumatica application.I then created a Customization Project and added a Sales Order screen but did not make any other modifications. Then I published it, but the system showed an error message. The system is not validating this. I assume this is the Local configuration issue.  I tried to get this to Visual studio, I have attached the screen.   I would like to know how to fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, but it does not work.

Hello community,I have been trying to use a GET method to login to my Acumatica instance using Postman, but it displays 404 error or sometimes 401 unauthorized error.i have created a user account and have given the account as Admin & Access to OData roles. I have been using the following syntax in the postman:https://siteURL/AcumaticaERP/ODataIs this the correct syntax that I have been using? If yes then why I am facing the issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello fellow Acumatica users,Is there a side panel to view expense receipts like there is in AP? Thanks,Kay Howe

Good day, I have been deactivate one of Company/Branch in our tenant.  (We don’t have any customizations.)  I know I have uncheck the Warehouse first and the deactivate the company (which is set up with no branches).  I am looking information on 1) how this will affect the Financial reports?  Open documents?  Open Payables? and AR Aging?, etc.  The main goal is to strict users from entering new orders and transactions.  I know management and financial reporting is my concern.  I assume  the consolidated reports will not work now for the old branch?  Correct?  How about Velixo?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

The following post indicates that manifesting has been implemented for EasyPost with direct UPS/FedEx integration on the roadmap as of 2022.  I took that to mean that batching and manifesting works for UPS via EasyPost.UPS End of Day ReportingBut when you try to batch & manifest shipments from a Test integration with EasyPost, you get the error message “Unable to create a ScanForm from shipments bought from this carrier”.  I thought it might just be a Test system issue, but EasyPost Support provided the following information:Thank you for reaching out to EasyPost Support about End of Day/ScanForm/Manifesting with UPS. The integration that EasyPost has with UPS is a live-rated integration, which means when you create the shipment through EasyPost, EasyPost sends that information to UPS electronically and they return rates to us in real-time. Because of this, UPS is already aware that the shipment has been created and doesn't need further record. This is in contrast with other carrie

I am creating an order and then, while in the sales order I go to the payments tab to add a payment.  Once I have created the payment,  entered a credit card and captured, I then want to print a copy of the payment using Print Payment option under the elipses on the page.   However I get a message saying “you have insuccient rights to access the object (EB620000).   Has anyone else had this same problem?

I have users with access to create new Stock items but I want to limit who can make the inventory item active post creation. I have looked at locking down via user roles, as well as using an approval map to try and make it an approval process which would also work, but it seems that is only for predefined entities. Is there another way to lock down Stock Item Status?

Hello,  Our project IDs have - between numbers and I want to display them on a report designer report without the dashes.  Example, 25-36-010 would display as 2536010 in the report.  Is there a way to do this with a formula in a report?  The current formula is : ='REQUEST FOR INFORMATION # '+[RequestForInformation.ProjectId]+'-'+[RequestForInformation.RFIID_Attributes]   I need to keep the first and last expression, but make it so the Project ID only displays numbers and not dashes.  Thank you!

Hi Everyone,MYOB customer updating from 23R1 to 24R1.Having an issue where the Payment endpoint in the API is returning an error that the cash account cannot be found. This error is also experienced in the UI and is due to the Branch that is defaulted from the customer record being a different branch than the cash account (fair enough). The request body has the correct value for the branch so that if all values of the API request were entered in the correct order, then the payment would be valid. Is there a way to control the sequence that values in API requests are entered so that defaulting happens in the correct order?

I’ve created business events that are “Triggered By Action”. There are 3 business events, and they MUST be done in sequential order, but they need to be seperate business events. I have named the three actions with the following format. 1 - XXXXX. 2 - XXXXX. and 3 - XXXXX. I would expect them to show up in this order. But they don’t. I have deleted and re-created the BE’s, thinking that maybe it mattered. It does not matter.I would expect them to appear….. 1 - 2 - 3 -
