We have a customer who would like the ability to enter Sales Tax information for Customers and Locations in Acumatica, including an uploaded certificate image, and have that same information populated in AvaTax’s Certificate Management database without having to manually enter it. We’re aware of a library of APIs Avalara provides, and we’re wondering if anyone has developed scripts to accomplish this? The overarching goal is to enter the data once rather than having to add the info in both Avalara and Acumatica. The other driving factor is that customer exemption information entered in Avalara is not visible in Acumatica and requires users to log in to Avalara to determine if a customer already has an exemption certificate on file.

We have a project where the customer’s external system will be reading data from Acumatica via the REST Api regularly and often. Is there an alternative to using cookies, such as setting the connection up as a “known application” with a shared secret value?  So that their authentication comes with the request vs. having a login to get the cookie and then they have to store the cookie. I know that I can bump up the lifespan of a cookie, and maybe that’s my only option, but I’m curious if there is another way to grant access without the logon/logoff calls.

We have a single company with multiple branches. We have a logo set on the company level. I want to remove the logo from the company and set up a branch-specific logo. I don't see a way to remove the logo from the company settings.   

What’s the best way to be able to issue stock out when consumed in a service order while the service order is still on going for certain period of time. The service order can take place in weeks and stock is used over time. This has caused issue on balance sheet and stock take. It looks like there is variance in the stock take but actually not because the stock is no longer there but the book qty says it’s there.

I created a data provider to import master data of the customer and created an import scenario for it. however I wanted to change some columns in the excel sheet. Then I changed them in the excel sheet. Deleted the existing excel sheet and re upload the changed excel sheet. But once I refer the schema in the data provider the columns I added was not there in the schema fields. what is the reason for this. 

Hi, I am trying to create a customized GI so I can filter by Project Task ID, Subaccount, SubAccount Description, and actual line item total for Project Task ID. Part of this should pull from the revenue budget. I would also like to add the expense project task id, total and margins for both revenue/expense project task ID. I started for the revenue part. See screenshot. However, I am having issues with the total not pulling for each Project Task ID. What I am missing from my GI setup? I have attached my actual GI. On the Item Warehouse Details / Replenishment Tab, how does Acumatica use the Max Qty under Replenishment Parameters?  We have MRP set to use Reorder Point as the Stocking Method.  We’ve found that when a purchased item gets below the Reorder Point, MRP will recommend ordering just enough to get back up to the Reorder Point.  I would like to see it recommend ordering enough to get to the Max Qty but that doesn’t seem to be how it works.  Is there a setting to have it do this?(I am not talking about Max Order Qty that pulls from the vendor tab)Thanks

A client has a requirement to keep track of vendor quotes by attaching them to bidding responses, which currently isn’t enabled in Acumatica. I’ve found this existing idea on the subject Attach files to bidding responses screen but since it has limited support at this time, I don’t expect it to be on the radar to get added to the product in the short term.If I create a customization to add the necessary standard fields to the RQBidding database table and DAC for notes & attachments, will this create a potential danger/conflict if the feature eventually gets added to the main product?

Hi All! Looking for a solution on how to stop shipments from going out when that shipment would put the customer above their credit limit, but at the same time allow the SO to stay open and we can order Purchase to Order items against it.So in our business most items are custom and they are ordered once we get an SO. So in most cases we take a deposit and order product. Most of our our customers are set up as COD terms.  Once the product comes in, we would want a trigger so that a sales manager can collect the remaining balance, and only once payment is received, for those items to be available for the warehouse to ship. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 

We are ready to do an overhaul of stock ID #s in our system.  We have tested the “change ID” function in Acumatica and from what we can tell it does a very good job.  Seems to override any and all instances of the previous id number with the new number.  However we want to have a record of what the previous number was, in case of records created outside of Acumatica printed copies, numbers in hard copy files, etc.  I have been unable to locate any location where we can find the history of what old numbers were/are.  Does anyone know if this exists and how it can be accessed?

We just upgraded from 2021 R2 to 2023 R2 and I noticed a generic inquiry that was throwing an error of: “Operand type clash: datetime2 is incompatible with int” I looked at the DB on both 2021 and 2023 and the field “RequestDate” seems to be datetime2 in both versions. Does anybody know why this statement below would no longer work? If I swap these fields to add a +1 on the “ConfirmedDateTime” it works correctly by adding a day to the date.I have a workaround but I was just curious why this is no longer working or a way to get it to work correctly. =IIf(([SOShipment.ConfirmedDateTime]<=([SOLine.RequestDate] + 1)), 1, 0) Thanks

Good dayI have upgraded from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 by installing the file from the community website. I did a direct upgrade from built Build 22.106.0015 to the latest built on 2023 R2.After first upgrading the database and finished of updating the website and all processes were successful.The Instance I upgraded named BuffaloDB. When I then tried to Launch the application I got the error message shown below, “HTTP Error 503. Service unavailable”What could be the issue?I even did a new separate instance to see if I can login I manage to create a demo instance but the one I tried to upgrade from 2022 R1 failed.  How can I make the upgraded instance from 2022 R1 to 2023 R2 work? On this installation it is on VMWARE as a way of testing the upgrade in the actual production environment.Also on this installation I do not have .NET 4.8 framework could it be the issue?

Hi All, We are currently trying to figure out a way to restrict items per Warehouse.The company has a single Company Zero Branches setup, so we wouldn’t be able to restrict items and warehouse on a branch level for example. Is there a way of telling Acumatica in this set-up that specific items can only be used in Warehouse X but not used in Warehouse Y?Any ideas or experience would help! Unfortunately assigning Item Classes to Warehouse locations wouldn’t work here as the client has multiple item classes that would be allowed in each Warehouse and there is also some Overlap there.

Another developer asked this question, but there was no answer to the question in terms of actually overriding the AddNew action on a grid.When I click AddNew on the grid, I want to default a value in one of the grid fields based on a value in a filter.  When you click AddNew, it adds a blank row.  I don’t see any event that is being fired when you click that button.  As such, I think the only thing I can do is to override the AddNew action and populate the value in the override.As suggested in the above mentioned post, the suggestion is to use RowInserting.  That event does not fire when you click the AddNew button.  It fires when you leave the row.This is a custom form, not an extension.  This is my code.  In debug, the breakpoint on TEST is not hit.        [PXOverride]        public PXAction<ICSFSSScheduleLine> AddNew;        [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Add New", Enabled = true)]        [PXButton(DisplayOnMainToolbar = false)]        public void addNew()        {            var

Use CaseMy client runs an in-house repair shop. They are using service orders to manage in-house repairs on equipment. There are open service orders where stock items are already consumed on the repair. The service order can’t yet be closed because further work needs to happen. ProblemWhen a physical count is generated, the items already used on the service order are still considered “on-hand” by Acumatica. This causes the physical count to display higher book quantity than there actually is on the bin. This can cause stock items to be reduced too low by mistake. For example:I have 13 stock item X on hand I used 2 on an open service order I generate a count, which displays 13 on hand During the count, I input 11 as Physical Quantity The system adjusts 13 stock items down to 11 I close and bill my service order This process further reduces stock item X by 2 units Now I have 9 in the warehouse, whereas I should have 11 in the warehouse. How do we setup discount by Customer Price Class and Item Price Class and Warehouse?Acumatica has discount applicable to customer price class and price class but it only applies when sold from a particular warehouse.

Good Afternoon,On the image below...I thought making new tabs to accommodate my monthly reports with different column orders would be a simple way to refresh each monthly (copy / paste) and update my excel files, but noticed when I make a change on one, each tab changes as well. Is there a solution for this not to happen? Do I have to make separate data views (multiples) so I do not have to keep changing my reports? Any help is appreciated/   

Is there a way to copy an endpoint that was created in a Test instance to a Prod instance? It does not appear these came over from a snapshot and I would have assumed they would.  Am I missing something or do these have to be manually recreated between instances?

We have been using service contracts in ACU since 2020. Since our new update we are no longer able to adjust the ‘Last Generated’ date on the schedules which used to allow us to regenerate after making any necessary changes to the line items. Is there another way to accomplish regenerating? Thanks in advance!!

I had to correct some sales order invoices to remove a non-stock item that was on each of them. Why do the appointments for these go back into run billing? And how do I get rid of those so that they don’t get processed again? Thanks!
