Hi SirWe would like to know what mean of production variance.As we do a disassembly transaction and notice that system auto generate “ production variance” May  i know what is this for? Please refer to the below.If based on below journal , does it mean the production variance 21.44 is reduce the inventory value as the double entry is credit account code14720 inventory.  

Hi Connections, I’ve a query related to expiry date control in Acumatica. Every inventory is specified as lot/serial and has an expiry date. As a result, based on that approach, expired items should not be processed. Is there any evidence that an item was expired at the time of shipment/transfer? Either Warning Message/ Allow / Don’t Allow Setups.,  I couldn't find any settings that would help me control this concern.  Hope you guys can help me on this topic. Thanks Ram 

How do I find a GI’s screen ID from the name of the GI.I’m using OData to get information from GIs into my external application, but I’d like to provide a link back into Acumatica to the GI in question.  Unfortunately, the OData meta-data doesn’t include the screen ID.  I’m trying to find the cross-reference of GI screen names to the IDs but have not had luck. I had assumed that GIDesign + GINavigationScreen would have worked, but some GIs that are Exposed Via OData don’t have rows in GINavigationScreen.

We have an scenario, where a customer they want to consider Project related Stock on MRP demand planning.For example, consider an item with a demand of 100 units and an available stock of 50 units, but this stock is tied to a project layer. The customer expects that any stock on a project layer should be excluded from standard MRP calculations.Additionally, there is another project-specific demand of 70 units for the same item. Since there are already 50 units available on the project layer, the system should only suggest purchasing the remaining 20 units.We understand that this functionality is currently not supported, but is there any plan to incorporate such logic in a future release?

I have a TypeScript type generator which generates type from the ODataV4 $metadata XML. However, I wanted the type generated for certain fields like Status an enum or even just union of the possible values instead of simply “string”. I am unable to achieve this at the moment as I’m not sure where I can get the dropdown values from the built in DACs. I am referring to this kind of information when you inspect dropdown fields:Would appreciate any pointers on how to fetch this information. We need to flag inventory items that fail to hit our expected monthly sales growth targets, by comparing current‑month sales against the same month’s sales from the previous year.For example: Item A sold 100 units in May last year, with a predefined 2% sales growth target. If it sells fewer than 102 units in May this year, this item should be listed out for review.Is this logic achievable within Acumatica Generic Inquiry? Hi,We have the below requirement:We have two types of customers, and we are using the same item codes for both.However, for one customer type, we need to use the automatic packaging feature, where packaging can be predefined. For the other customer type, we require manual packaging, since the packaging needs to be adjusted based on specific requirements.Is there any way to achieve this without creating separate item codes?Thanks.

I have a project. The npm build for the Modern UI was successful, but an error occurs when publishing the project.  After checking the error details, it seems to be related to an official extension. I have a completely clean installation of Acumatica 2026 R1. I have not modified any system files or code at all. How can I resolve this?

We are trying to enable Stripe processing for our sales orders and despite setting up the processing center and it testing OK when we click the Test Credentials button we get what looks like an incomplete dialog after clicking capture on the Create Payment dialog.The bottom section for the address and contact info can be filed in but the bottom button remains blank and does nothing when clicked.The top section for the credit card info seems to just be labels with no fields that can be edited.This remains until we click the cross.The connection to Stripe seems to be working as I can see a transaction with the matching amount which says Incomplete along with two other entries of $1.00 each time under Transactions>Payments on the Stripe website. The $1.00 entries say cancelled. Any ideas of how/where to troubleshoot this would be much appreciated as I’m stumped.Thanks,Phil

Im sure this has been asked, but I can not find it.  I need to know where to allocate material for production orders.  We are running into issues where not all materials are in for all orders, but enough is in for some.  and the production floor doesn’t know what they can and cant fill, then material gets pulled for orders that are not components complete.  example we have 1 product for 5 orders.1,2,3,4,5  we have everything for orders 2 and 5, and I want to allocate that material to those production orders. thanks!

I have reviewed the article (https://community.acumatica.com/topic/show?tid=7266&fid=288) that identifies PXDBWeblink as the way to create a custom field with an URL link to click.  I have also reviewed the website field on the customer contact page and the tracking URL field on the packages tab of a shipment.  But, I can’t seem to get it to work.First, I created a custom field and publish the customization.Then, I add the field to the screen.Then in the data class, I changed the PXDBString(256) to PXDBWeblink.When I publish the customization, the Stock Item screen looks like this.It doesn’t have the icon to open the URL like the contact website nor is it a hyperlink like the tracking URL of the shipment.I’m working in a local 2023 R1 instance and will attach the customization package. 

Hello!I’m trying to prevent Invoices from exporting as Shipments to fulfill non-stock items sold on Shopify. My client sells hundreds of non-stock items a day which we need to import into Acumatica for accounting purposes only. After these orders are imported into Acumatica, the SO is completed, and an invoice is created. The Connector tried to sync this Invoice to Shopify to complete the order, but we do not need it to do this. I have not been able to successfully setup a filter to prevent this from happening. This is also creating a huge clutter of failed sync records and “processed” shipment/Invoices in the clients sync history screen. Any ideas on how I can stop this from happening? Thanks! 

I am using the above reference to implement this. On the Projects screen, I have two tabs: BTC and HWP. The HWP tab contains multiple UDF fields that should be visible only when the HWP branch is selected; otherwise, they need to be hidden.  After implementing this, the fields are not showing under any condition. Whether I select the HWP branch, BTC branch, or any other branch, they remain hidden. Could you please guide me if I am approaching this correctly?

Hi Community!I ran into this a few months back but was asked again. In the Classic UI I was able to go to “Screens” in a Customization package and drag the tab order around so the first tab would be the new default tab. In the modern UI I can use the Screen Configuration tool to move the tab order in a similar way but even if I move a tab to the 1st, when I open the page it defaults to the original tab that defaulted.Appreciate any feedback or guidance!~Chris

I try to migrate my old customization project to modern UI in 2026r1.At first, I wanted to convert the entire project directly, but it failed with the following error:No container found for view ConnectedVendors in the Screen Schema for screen. Probably for the HTML element 'QP-GRID' with the Id 'gridConnectedVendors' provided View Name is not declared in the TypeScript ViewModel.Then I tried to convert each page separately. Some of them succeeded and some failed. And I found that the above error comes from the “Vendors” page.Then a similar “Customers” page also has a similar error:No container found for view CustomerBillingCycles in the Screen Schema for screen. Probably for the HTML element 'QP-GRID' with the Id 'gridBillingCycles' provided View Name is not declared in the TypeScript ViewModel. Judging from the names, these errors are all related to native fields, not the custom fields I added. Hello! Is there a way to create a shipment for a Sales Order line prior to the ship-on date associated with that line? We are trying to track our on time delivery when it comes to shipments and we don’t only want to study what causes delays but also want to study what are some root causes that allows certain jobs to ship ahead of time. However, currently Acumatica prevents creating a shipment before the ship-on date. (Ex. I won’t be able to create a shipment today for a Sales Order line that has a Ship-On Date one week from now without changing that date.) Also, is there a direct way to allow for this to happen without going through workarounds that leads to extra keystrokes?I.e.Creating a shipment through the Sales Order → Changing the Shipment Date in the Pop-Up window to match the lines being shipped → Backdating the shipment date in the shipment once it is created.  Creating a shipment manually → Selecting the Add Order button → Selecting the lines and changing the Scheduled Ship D

If Use Fixed Manufacturing Time on Inventory Planning Preferences is not checked, we expect MRP to use manufacturing time from the BOM.We are having trouble getting it to take Queue Time into account. DA-L0 and DA-L1 both have a queue time of 4 days.Created an SO for DA-L0 on 3/15. Here is the MRP Result, with the planned action dates for the production orders being 3/15.Shouldn’t the queue time of 4 days force the action date back 4 days?If I create the RO from the SO, it does back up the start date.

We are looking to try and use the “selector” type attribute. However, we want to have the ability to open the record that was selected. Currently, I am only seeing the magnifying glass which brings up the table to select the data record we want. Is there a way to add the “pencil” or a hyperlink in order open the data record once it has been selected? Thanks! Selector attribute only allowing record selection, not access to the selected record.
