Taxable and Non Taxable Customers

Driving myself bonkers.  We are using 24R1 and trying to get sales taxes set up.  Here is the setup:Tax ID: NYSTATETAX = 8.875%, NYNOTAX = 0%Categories: Taxable, ExemptTax Zone: NYTAXABLE linked to NYSTATETAX and TaxableTax Zone: NYNONTAX linked to NYNOTAX and Taxable and Exempt All inventory items are set to taxable. When I create a sales document for a customer with the NYTAXABLE tax zone and a Taxable item ($99.60) and an Exempt item ($25), the correct taxes are calculated, but the tax breakdown is incorrect - the NYNOTAX tax id is missing.When I create a sales document for a customer with the NYEXEMPT tax zone and a Taxable item and an Exempt item, no taxes are calculated and the tax breakdown on the taxes page is correct.

Convert Purchase to Fixed Asset Reverse

Hi Everyone!!!In convert purchase to asset, I allocated a purchase to the wrong fixed asset. How can I reverse the one single transaction in order for the purchase to reappear in the convert purchase to fixed asset, to go back and allocate it to the correct fixed asset?

Tariffs

Wondering how everyone is handling the tariffs?  It’s easy enough when a vendor issues a price increase that I can just pass through.  My issue is when I am getting hit with tariff lines on invoices from vendors.  Not sure how to accurately absorb those lines on incoming PO’s and pass them along on a Sales Order without a ton of manual work.

i am trying to divide 1 the result 1 column using 2 formula for 2 row of different values and this is column  column c ‘% NS’ value is =Value('0030','B')/Value('0020','B')and this is the result : How do I use a different formula =Value('0030','B') / Value('0030','B') * 100  for the '% NS' column I highlighted in green? Thank you.

Budget Line Item Includes Phantom Amount

I’m stuck in this insane situation:I had a released budget line with the total amount originally $3,213.86 that was only allocated in Period 1. I then went to upload some adjustments to multiple line items, but I had a typo in the subaccount for this particular line item in my upload. So I deleted the error line, and I manually adjusted the amount and the period amounts. The Distributed Amount is still picking up my original amount in Period 1 and I cannot save without adding that amount to Period 1 to get the Amount and Distributed Amount to balance. I’ve tried deleting the line and starting over, but I cannot delete without zeroing out the periods, and I can’t zero out the periods because the Amount and Distributed Amount do not match.Screenshot below of my released budget line item that clearly is not really balanced and screenshot of what period 1 should be but is not in balance. Please someone help!

Acumatica Report Designer - how to display the Purchase Order along with the last person who approved it?

I need to display Purchase Order approved and the last person who approved the PO.In a GI or SQL it is simple to return the data for this as an Aggregated value Max on the ApproveDate. The table relationships: EPApproval Table and link it to POOrder using RefNoteID = POOrder.NoteID.How can this be achieved on the Report designer? Where will the Filter be applied?Retha

How to configure payment receipts for Acumatica Payments

To Configure Payment Receipts for Acumatica Payments  you’ll need three components:Payment Receipt report GI with the list of Payment Receipts to send Business event to send payment receipts once the payment is ready.As for the Payment receipt report, you just need to configure it the way you need. You can do it using Reports designer, see more here: https://help.acumatica.com/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=24b77bbe-0eb3-4d37-9350-071ae5743571 Here is an example I’ve created  The next step is to create a GI that shows only payments that you’d like to automatically print the receipts for. E.g. you’ll need payments that only use CC payment method and that are released and processed. And finally, you’ll need to create a business event that looks at the GI and creates a new email one the new record appears in the GI and set up Email notification for it.  Once you have that set up, every new captured payment in the system will automatically generate an email with attached receipt form an

Reconciliation Statement in "Balanced" status lacks both a delete or release function.

The reconciliation is balanced and ready to complete but the Release option is disabled.  There are closed reconciliation statements for this cash account dating back to 2023 and this is the first time we have encountered this problem.  Any thoughts on how to move forward?

How to multiple discount amount to order quantity

Hello,In sales orders I change the quantity, but the discount amount field remains $10 instead of changing value due to the appropriate sales order count, in this case it must be $100. In below screenshot you can see that the discount for total amount remains the same.The percentage-based discount works correctly, but the fixed amount discount is only applied to 1 unit. When the sales order quantity changes, the total discount amount does not update accordingly.Do you have any solutions about it? Thank you in advance for your answers.

On Hold/Awaiting Payment status - both necessary?

Good afternoon,Our company currently has it set up for all sales orders entered to go on an initial “On hold” status...but once thats removed, it moves over to “awaiting payment” status for payment collection.Is it necessary to have both of these set up or does it seem redundant?We have the parameters already set up for credit holds and everything as well...so orders wouldnt move past “awaiting payment” unless manually altered.

Bank Reconciliation 1 payment - 2 invoices

Good morning allI'm sure this is a simple question but currently I can't for the life of me think of what I should do.  I have 2 invoices that have been paid via BPay - so the payment has gone through as one.  It isn't letting me match the two invoices with the payment - even if I tick "Match to Multiple Payments".  Any help on this very wet and windy (Cyclone is coming) Friday morning.

Multi currency - Company Ledger Set for Processing Translations

Good day,I have multi branch/company environment.  I have a new Canada Company starting shortly.  Based on what I read so far is the CA Company needs a based currency of CAD and a separate ledger.  All the CA company transactions will be done in our CA Company, separate customers, vendors, etc.  Also a new cash accounts.Ledgers:  Do I need two CA Ledgers:  One for Actual and One for Reporting? Translations:  I need to be able to report in CAD and consolidate/translate into USD for consolidated reporting.My overall needs are to have CAD reports for taxes and Consolidated reports for Overall company financials by branch.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Evan

Best Way To Adjust Cost of Production Receipt

Taxes in Canada - GST Holiday

Any other Acumatica users in Canada trying to implement the Tax holiday?We have changed the tax status of all our products that qualify, but any orders that were entered previous to today are still having GST applied. Is there an easier way to fix that than having someone manually change the tax status of every single item on every single invoice? We are a toy wholesale company, so as you can imagine that is a lot of items and invoice we would have to manually touch.

Incoming documents 2024 R2

We just upgraded to 2024 R2 last night.  We drag invoices into the Incoming Documents screen.  In the upgraded version, we can’t drag in the invoice.  Nothing happens.  Has anyone else experience this or have a fix?I tried disable / enable AP Document Recognition Services and that didn’t fix the issue.

How to invoice non-stock items through a sales order without creating a shipment

Is there a way to directly invoice non-stock items through a Sales Order without creating a shipment? We have non-stock items that are job specific and need to be on the Sales Order. These non-stock items are not tangible products and do not require shipments.  We would prefer to steer clear from creating fake shipments and invoicing through AR since we would like to have a document that is connected to the specific Sales Order.  Thank you!

Hello,  This is a general FYI. I have found that the SOInvoice.PaymentAmt field is calculating the total balance of the SO Invoice, rather than the Payment Total applied to the invoice.  I created a scenario in my local environment shown below.  The SOInvoice.PaymentAmt and SOInvoice.CuryPaymentAmt should both be 100.00 to reflect the payment amount applied.

Percentage Complete Revenue Recognition

I’ve gotten feedback that percentage complete revenue recognition functionality imbedded in the Acumatica Project Accounting module defaults to calculating revenue at the project task level. I have always seen those calculations done at the total project level, in large part because project billing milestones don’t line up neatly with budgeted cost line items. As such, I am surprised that Acumatica defaults the calculation to the project task level. I’m wondering if I’m missing something. For anyone who has implemented percentage complete revenue recognition automation in Acumatica, are you doing it at the project task level, or the total project level?

Avatax - Discounts on invoices

Has anyone had experience in adding a discount on an invoice when using Avatax to calculate taxes?  We are testing and the discount is showing in Acumatica but it is not passing to Avatax.Has someone been successful in using discounts?Thanks
