In the Project record, we have added dropdown fields for Project Administrator and Project Coordinator based on position. The existing Project Manager field is also a dropdown based on position. We want to restrict access so that these users can only view projects assigned to them and not see other projects. What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks 

Hello! Currently my coworkers and I are working out of different versions of Outlook. I am using the older version while he is using the new version. We both work out of Chrome. When I go to drag and attachment from outlook (old) and drop it in the files of a sales order, I can do that with no issue. However, when he tried to do it on his outlook (new), it will not allow him. The only way we are able to add an attachment for him is by saving the PDF to a folder then dragging it from there, which we are trying to move away from. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you find a solution? Thank you!

I am running into this problem, and I can’t seem to find a clear answer online anywhere. I am trying to set up an automation that will trigger a business event to send an email once a week to our customers. However, I can’t get the actual scheduled automation to trigger in order to even test that the business event and email are working the way I want them to. Is there a way to run turnover automatically? I see automation schedule as a option for turnover, however that sets the period to be one defined value, meaning that the schedule will break when the month starts. Is there a way to keep this program running indefinitely? 

Hello Acumatica community, I was testing how to change the base UOM for a stock item and received the following error message:This was after I created an Adjustment entry and removed the item from all open SO and PO lines.Has anyone seen and resolved this error message before when changing the base UOM?Thank you!

We are testing the modern UI in 2025R2, and are no longer able to drag a file from Windows Explorer on to an Acumatica screen and have it upload to the Files area.  When trying this, the file appears to go directly to the workstation's Downloads folder.So far, to make it work we have to click on Files, then drag and drop to that window.  This is a minor inconvenience, but I couldn’t find anything on it in the 25R2 release notes so wondering if we are missing something.  Anyone else seeing this or aware of documentation on the change?

We’re experiencing some odd behavior with the main search field. No results are returned when using a combination of three or more numerals and “AS”.Specifically, we have a stock items called “MAS513” with different suffixes, like AO, A12, and AS. Using the search bar at the top gives results for searches of “MAS513”, “MAS513-AO”, and “MAS513-A12”, but not for “MAS513-AS”. “MAS AS” and “13-AS” give results and can find the item, but “513-AS” does not. It works without issue in grids’ quick search field. It seems like ‘as’ is a keyword but only in certain circumstances? Does anyone know why this would be happening?Thank you for any insight you can provide,

I have a sales order that i have processed through into shipping and invoiced. the shipping and invoiced status both show completed/closed  but going back to the sales order it shows as ‘Open’ and not ‘completed’. I have put the order on hold and clicked off the check box under the completed column and have also clicked on ‘complete order’ under processing and still will not change the status of the sales order to ‘complete’.How can this be resolved in order to show status ‘completed’. Please help. 

Hello, I am trying to create an “On hands” report for our offsite locations. I would like to show each offsite location in a column and to only show the inventory in that location. I wrote my formula as =([INLocationStatus.LocationID]=CONTAINER1) but this obviously is not correct as I am seeing the current on hand values across all locations. Any ideas on the formula to use to accomplish this goal?  

Is anyone populating Box 6 on 1099-NEC or Box 17 on 1099-Misc?  State/Payer’s State NoIs there a field in Acumatica that we can populate that number?  Or are people just adding it to the report? Thanks, Justin

Hello!When the system was locked to take a snapshot, the automation schedules were changed to an Inactive status. This was identified only after a few days, and the schedules had to be manually reactivated.Could you please advise if there is a best practice for handling this situation, or if there is a way to automatically reactivate the automation schedules after the system is unlocked?Additionally, please let us know if there are any other areas affected by locking the system, such as Device Hub, or any other integrations or background processes we should be aware of.Thank You

HelloI created a snapshot in full mode and successfully restored it in my local development environment. However, when I log in, I’m unable to view the complete data and other screen.Is there any permission I need to check while creating the snapshot? The below is my local instance.Acumatica Verison:25.100.0054 

I’m trying to setup new bank feeds for WF commercial accounts but cannot find the right institution in Plaid or MX. An article from last year mentioned using the MX Bank Feed Type… but Wells Fargo CEO is not an option. Not sure if something changed on the MX side of things or I need to search for it a different way, I tried just about all I could think of. Using the Wells Fargo institution with my credentials does not work since the sign in page is different for commercial accounts.

Our company drop ships items from a vendor, and what our vendor charges us for those items changes based on our customer price class.For example: Item A can be purchase by a customer with the following customer price classesBase $18.00Staff $10.80Retail Bulk $16.20The vendor then in turns drop ships those items at the following prices based on what we sold the item forBase: $13.50Staff: $8.10Retail Bulk: $12.15I need these vendor prices to be reflected in the purchase receipts based on the customer price class of the SO. I think it would be a customization but I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t a “Vendor Price Class” or something of that nature that I was missing. Thanks! 

I need to be able to assign lot/serial attributes to stock items before actually receiving the item. My team is okay with generating the purchase receipt and filling in the lot/serial attributes on the PR and keeping it on hold until we actually receive the product, but ti looks like because we haven’t actually received the product the lot/serial attribute values don’t live in any particular table. Just confirming that this is true.Or if anyone has any other ideas of procedures that would be great!

If i am in the sales orders invoices screen, SO303000, and i select email invoice. Where is that template coming from? My goal is to alter this and add another report to the email.

I’m finding some examples where the “transferred to invoice” field on a sales order (under the payments tab) isn’t being populated when an invoice has been created. I’m wondering is there something we did process wise that prevented this from happening? I ask because I built a refund tool that operates by using this field and if it isn’t being populated accurately the tool can’t figure the potential refund needed accurately. The “Transferred To Invoice” field is 0As you can see the SO is linked to this invoice so I’m not sure why it’s not reflected on the SOThe status of the invoice seems to be irrelevant as I have seen other open invoices

We understand that In Acumatica, the "estimated lead time" is typically calculated by combining the vendor lead time that is manually entered in the vendor details with any additional lead time days that are manually entered on the inventory line item itself and then displayed as the estimated lead time for that item.  Based on the information we've found so far; it seems that the manual process mentioned above is the only option. For companies with large inventories, numbering in the tens of thousands, automating this function is essential.Our questions are:Does Acumatica have logic that automatically calculates estimated lead times.  If so, how do we go about setting it up?For example, instead of manually updating the lead time on both the vendor master record and the item master under the vendor tab, is there a way for the system to automatically calculate the average lead time based on PO issue date

Hi Community, Acumatica seems to have recently inserted new Roles that do not follow their normal naming convention nor have any sort of information for their descriptions. Does anyone know when/ why these roles were added? And what their access is to the system?Thanks,RJ

HiI wonder if you might be able to help me.I have a set of email accounts setup in Acumatica. Each with its own purpose. One manages invoice PDFs going into the Accounts Payable area, one is for Invoices when they are sent to customers. One is for when customer service want to correspond with a customer but have it recorded directly in Acumatica.However, I notice that a user can select any one of these email accounts when they try to generate an email in Acumatica to send to the client. (see screenshot) Is there a way to restrict which email addresses a user can select in this Email Activity screen? perhaps through workgroups or something like that? EG if the accounts team are emailing a customer I want them to select and use the accounts payable queries account but when a customer service agent is contacting a

The dashboard parameter for “default” value of @me, no longer works after an upgrade from 2022R2 to 2023R2   Instead I added the filter to each Widget/Generic Inquiry on Dashboard, but client prefers the parameter because it allows user to toggle back and forth on the owner list of name.Any ideas would be appreciated

We have stock items that do not need to be checked into the system in some instances, and others they do need to be checked in. If we raise a purchase order with these stock items, is there a way to not check them in and close off the purchase order?  For additional context, when we were setting up our system, our consultant helped us set up the following manufacturing flow. We have an item that undergoes manufacturing steps at 3 different suppliers. To track the manufacturing flow, we created a BOM with the main part being machined as a stock item and then the subsequent steps are non-stock item services provided to the stock item. I have included a little table below to describe the process. Should I start receiving these goods/not backflushing them?
