Modern UI vs. Classic UI in 2026 R1: What is your ‘lesson learned’ for client training?

Hi everyone!

With the rollout of Acumatica 2026 R1, many of us are starting to move clients or internal teams into the Modern UI. While the look is great, we are seeing some functional differences compared to the Classic UI, for example, there are reported challenges with how hyperlinks and redirects behave in custom screens or moving several JS functionality from Classic UI to Modern UI.

I’m curious to hear from other partners and customers: What is one thing about the Modern UI that surprised you (good or bad) during a rollout?

Is there a specific training tip or a configuration you’ve found that makes the transition smoother for end-users? I'd love to gather some 'best practices' to share as we all get used to the 2026 release!

It’s definitely an important topic as more clients and teams transition to the Modern UI, and I’m looking forward to learning from the experiences and best practices being shared.
