Hi everyone,I am troubleshooting an issue in Acumatica where certain Contact records time out when opening the Contact entry screen.The Contacts list screen had a separate Generic Inquiry issue, which I was able to correct. The GI had an invalid condition:Contact.UsrCustomerLocationID <> MAINUsrCustomerLocationID is an integer/custom LocationID field, while MAIN is the LocationCD/substitute key. I corrected the GI by joining the Location table to Contact using:Contact.UsrCustomerLocationID = Location.LocationIDContact.BAccountID = Location.BAccountIDThen I changed the condition to:Location.LocationCD <> MAINAfter that, the Contacts list screen started loading correctly.However, I am still getting timeout errors when opening certain Contact records directly on the Contact entry screen. The screen opens blank and then throws an execution timeout. The trace points to Acumatica duplicate validation / duplicate entity loading:Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Execution Time

Our inventory items are valuated via FIFO. I have some items that ended up getting a $0 unit cost, but those items are layer #2 in our cost layers and I’m unsure about what I need to do in order to change that unit cost. For items where the $0 was the first layer I could just issue out the item and do a receipt with the new unit cost. Yes, I am aware that it would move that cost layer down to the bottom of the list which is okay in this scenario.If I need to change the second layer do I need to do 2 lines in my issue, remove enough inventory to relieve the first layer and then do a second line that issues out the 2nd layer, and on the receipt receive enough that mimics the first layer at the original unit cost and then a second line that has the adjusted unit cost?I have read that it is recommended to do adjustments to change unit costs but I find that those changes are not reflected in the cost layers GI.

Is Acumatica doing away with direct carrier integrations? (We’ve always used our own UPS account and a stamps.com account for USPS.) We recently were told that we need to switch to an Easypost account.  However, everything I see online only talks about Acumatica discontinuing direct integration with FedEx..Easypost hasn’t been an easy transition, yet.  It’s been a week and I’m still waiting for an email reply from tech support.We’ve also had issues adding funds (taking 5 days to post.) I’m just wondering if acumatica is in fact stopping direct integration with UPS/Stamps? Thanks..

Hello community!Is there a way to default the warehouse for a line item based on the branch of the transaction (SO,PO,etc)? Similar to how the line details branch defaults to the branch you are creating the transaction in, is there a way for the warehouse to default here too?SO Created in the PRODWHOLE branch would ideally default to the PRODWHOLE warehouse.I have tried removing the default warehouse from an inventory item. It just appears blank and would still require manual selection. Thank you! 

When I load a vendor price worksheet using Excel, it is not checking the Vendor / Alternate ID combination.  It is matching it with any alternate ID, even if not from the vendor I specified. Does anyone know of a workaround for that or if it is on the docket to be fixed?

Is there some sort of a “Customer Center” where we could go to a specific customer, and see every single activity that customer has with us?. Everything from Quotes, Sales orders, shipments, invoices, current balance, payments made, etc.   We came from Quickbooks Desktop and they had a customer center which showed all of this, but I am not able to find a place that tracks everything like this.  An example of this in practice would be:  A customer calls and asks one of our sales people a variety of questions, like how his current order is going, if we can send him copies of his invoices from past orders, and what is the balance on his account.  Where do we go to find this all in one place instead of jumping around?

When we go to sales orders or shipments and try to search for a customer, if we type their email in to search, that doesn’t work. We sell a lot online, and many times a customer will email us and ask for order updates or some other info. Early this year, we added the Expense Management Module.  We have not been able to go live due to multiple usability issues - we have not been able to begin testing and mapping due to the fact that the Plaid/MX feeds for our credit card accounts do not bring over account owner information. That information is essential for a corporate card account with 20-30+ users. It is also essential for the functionality of pro-actively prompting employees to enter receipts for charges and matching those charges to the correct receipts. We need employees to proactively to see what charges are remaining to submit receipts on vs a manual receipt upload where after a month at reconciliation, accounting realizes they are missing multiple receipts and cannot complete the statement reconciliation.Is anyone using any third party/Acumatica friendly expense management apps that connect directly to Acumatica existing projects & GL Accounts as well as the ability easy approval mapping? Good day all,Working on trying to make a sales order for a project specific inventory item, a lot sale, and when i go to create the sales order i get the error saying the quantity is negative if i go through with it. In my inventory allocation details it shows I have one on hand. So how do i fix this? Trying to record the sale of the lot/inventory to my project. I also cannot select in the top part of the sales order anything but Project X.  How do i fix this? Please help.   We have started taking photos of the goods that get shipped from every order we send.  We use a tablet with the Acumatica app on it to take and upload the photos.  Is there an option or customization that can be done to send out the photos in batches much like invoices that we run at the end of the day and are all sent out as a batch?  We don’t want the photos to be sent to the same email address invoices get sent to.  We are really hoping that we could send all the photos as batches to the email addresses we  send the sales order confirmations to.  Is this something that is possible or just wishful thinking?  

Is there an existing report in Acumatica that calculates the Average Days to Pay for Customers?   Needing a report that shows the metrics of payments for our Net 30 accounts.    

Certainly we can’t be the only company using Acumatica that has this scenario.User A creates a quote and user B has access to the branch the quote was created on.  Both users have the ability to edit at the same time but user B selects SAVE first which causes “another process” error for user A and they loose their work.I saw another discussion that was closed so opening up a new one.  Workgroups wont’ work here, approvals are too heavy, neither would access or row level security.I would think that the Created By user could edit and give access to employees to edit but if one user is in a transaction and another users accesses it it would tell them who is editing the transaction so they don’t overlap.  Think shared Microsoft files with edit permissions.Thoughts?

We have Advanced Kitting in Acumatica.But when I try to drag and move the Kit Lines, I am not able.I have a sales order with 3 Kits on it, many other items and the customer wants to change the top Kit item. Payments are already applied to this sales order, many items, it would take a long time to change. This happens often.  See video VideoAny idea how I do this? 

Is there a way to select a template and change the default selection from before email body to after email body?

I noticed recently that you can update attributes more freely in the CSAnswers table in this version. It used to be that when an attribute is NOT assigned to a customer or an item class, it would not insert a value for that attribute for any records missing the attribute assignment on the class. In an import scenario, you would get an error that when it was missing on the item/customer class and it would not insert a value into CSAnswers.That validation is now gone. You can freely insert values into CSAnswers without the class validation.I’m not a fan of that change, but I noticed another change that seems “weird”Now I’m seeing that Checkbox attributes are storing both True/False and 1/0 as acceptable values which causes issues in reporting. Shouldn’t it be one or the other? Why does CSAnswers now accept both for checkboxes?

I have a requirement to disbale access on the complete order action on the Sales Order form for some users. I tried to set the access as Revoke on the Access Right By screen form. The path I followed is Access Right by screen > Sales Orders > Sales Orders > Sales Order > Compelete Order.Howver, Once I save the changes it will go back to the Inhertied status without revoking. How can I update this. TIA.

Hi, I need to set up a fuel levy (fuel surcharge) per carton amount ($0.20) to auto apply on purchase orders to a specific supplier and then $0.30 to auto apply to customers when ordering products from this same supplier? How do I do this?

I am logged in as Administrator and can see the option for Prepare Invoice in the Action drop down for Process Shipment under Sales. order, but other users cannot. 

We are looking to try and use the “selector” type attribute. However, we want to have the ability to open the record that was selected. Currently, I am only seeing the magnifying glass which brings up the table to select the data record we want. Is there a way to add the “pencil” or a hyperlink in order open the data record once it has been selected? Thanks! Selector attribute only allowing record selection, not access to the selected record.
