When creating any kind of discount code we need option to determine if it should be pre tax or post tax Every discount now is calculated before tax. This exists in every other product we compete against.
I think it’s best if on the printout of Sales Order, we indicate which user printed it and when it was printed. Other option is to indicate this action on the Audit History of the form. I think this will be helpful if ever there’s any discrepancy that may appear on the printout, we can easily track who printed it.

Just updated to 2020 R1 from 2018 R1. There used to be a amount total displayed in the Purchase receipts form, Screen ID: PO3020PL. Seems to be missing. Anyway to get this back? I checked in Preferences and didn't see anything pertaining to it.Would this be easy through a screen customization?I did see this idea but no other Community topics on it.https://community.acumatica.com/ideas/purchase-receipt-shall-display-total-amount-on-2019r1-2401
Hello , I am using 2020 R1. Correct me if I am wrong, it seems to me the “Invoice cancellation ” function is duplicated with “Invoice correction” function. Or even worse, it is not very straight forward or some how confusing. According to the help doc, the credit memo only off set the Invoice total, it did not return/add inventory back. And it makes the shipment back to “confirmed” status. however, User can NOT correct this shipment or delete this shipment.Yes, It might be the IN issue is released. But in most cases, it is released at that time.So in this case, what can I do with this “confirmed” shipment. It seems to me I can only proceed it to another invoice, then what is the difference with “correct invoice” function? Moreover, if User looking for a “”REAL” cancellation, which offset the AR and put all inventory back, what is the quickest way for user to do? Please Advise. Thank you.
Currently in the standard reports available in the Inventory Module, all inventory items are available and included regardless of their status. We also checked the Additional Sort and Filters tab, but couldn't find a condition for an inventory status field.Maybe we should design the Inventory Reports that the user may have the option to not include the Inactive or Marked for Deletion Items because some customers may possibly don’t want to include those items when they generate reports.
Hi all,I am in the middle of documenting and building out our Opportunity Pipeline Management. My reason for putting this post together is to share what steps I am taking and to better understand what others have done to manage opportunities. Hopefully many can benefit from this conversation…My goal is to have multiple “layers” of Opportunities that when looked at holistically can be used to create a quarterly sales forecast. Since we provide custom and standard products, we will be tracking these through Opportunity Classes per below:New Business: This class is for new business from both new and existing clients Estimating Date: The date the order will be invoiced. We chose invoiced date (as opposed to booking date) so the timing is in alignment with our financial budgeting process Amount: The amount of the first order Attribute fields will be created to track market, industry, product category, Year 1, 2, & 3 projected revenues (this will help forecasting repeat business) etc.
Is there a way to submit a shipment method request to Fedex for Saturday delivery? I do not see a shipment method in our instance of Acuamtica that has that service listed as an option. I contacted a Fedex technical employee and he provided the following information, but I don’t know if this is something I can add in, if it needs to be a product enhancement, or if it’s already in there somewhere. Web services handles Saturday Delivery for Express shipments under the special services section. Please keep in mind you also have to select the appropriate shipment date and service to go with Saturday delivery. (Ex. FedEx 2 day will ship on a Thursday and be able to have Saturday Special service. If you select Standard Overnight on a Monday with a special service of Saturday it will fail because Standard overnight sent on a Monday would be delivered on a Tuesday.) Here is the transaction section for the special service. The first and last lines is not needed for the special service bu
When I add a Barcode or Global record to the CROSS-REFERENCE tab on the Stock Items (IN202500) screen like this: I can then enter an entire Barcode or Global value in the Inventory ID field on the Purchase Receipts (PO302000) screen. When tabbing out of the Inventory ID field, Acumatica correctly finds the Item and converts the value to the Inventory ID value in Acumatica. However, when entering an entire Barcode or Global value in the Inventory ID field on the Issues (IN302000) screen, Acumatica is not as “smart” in that it doesn’t find the Item. It would be really nice to have this working on the Issues (IN302000) screen so it can be used for issuing materials to Projects. Are there any plans to get this working on the Issues (IN302000) screen?
Hello Everyone, I have 10 or so warehouses, 3 of them have multiple warehouse locations but the other 7 do not.Would it be possible to have the location table (on the warehouses form) ONLY appear on those warehouses that actually have multiple locations? Thank you

Hello, Correct me if I am wrong. Currently, if user would like to enter expiration date, the lot tracking must be set. Is there a way that allow user can only input the expiration date without enforcing the lot tracking?
Hello, Take invoice screen in automation steps for exampleIf I want to add a new report button, I can use fill with values, and set the value to whatever screenID as I wish. When I create a Purchase Order, I use inventory Items to fill out basic information, like account and sub account. However, I’ve notice that while the Account does match the Inventory Item. The system pulls the Sub Account from the Vendor’s profile. This creates a problem because while the Vendor’s sub account is the most likely to be used, it doesn’t mean that it always be the same. My Inventory Item has the correct sub account.Posting class is set to pull the information from the Inventory Item ( II-III-I ) Is there a way to fix this?
Our customer has started to use discounts extensively and originally we setup 6 decimal Price / Cost because it allowed us to match to the current price structure which is specific for almost each customer. We have learned that this causes rounding issues when unit of measure conversions are introduced. We have an opportunity when publishing the new price sheet to clean up some of this rounding by changing to a 2 decimal Price / Cost setting in Company miscellaneous settings. In our testing this appears to correct many rounding issues. Has anyone seen negative impacts in the transactions by reducing the number of decimals? All input is appreaciated.
I am looking for a good solution to verify special order items are correct. We do a lot of special orders where we buy items only after a customer places an order. After receiving the PO, we put them into a single Special Order bin. We can link the PO to the sales order so it automatically allocates. The problem is when the shipment is created, the quantities are automatically allocated and therefore don’t require scanning. Many of our items look similar so it is easy for someone to grab the wrong item. Anyone have a good solution?
