Is there a way to add report logic to pull the vendor type alternate ID based on the vendor on the purchase order? We have items with multiple alternate ID types, and in several cases there are multiple vendor numbers listed. I need some sort of logic to specify the alternate type, then match the Vendor ID with the vendor on the PO.Thanks in advanced!
I have added a custom field on the header of the Project Transaction screen, but I need this to be editable when the transaction is released.This screen has no workflow, so wondering if anyone can assist with how to do this please.Its all enabled, and I can update it on screen, but when I press save, it loses the data / does not actually save it to the PMRegister table.

Hello, I’ve been trying to expose the Access RIghts of a Role by extending the Web Service Endpoint and adding the Access Rights by Role (SM201025) Screen ID to an endpoint named “AccessRightsByRole”. I’ve populated the fields n AccessRightsByRole with the Role Information mapped object. As you can see I’ve inserted a new field named AccessRights which should hold the detail of 0 to many Access RIghts, which is an object mapped from RoleEntities. I need to create a new Email Activity for SOOrder, Shipment, and Payment and Applications in my customization code. Was wondering which method I would override for my requirements and what I need to pass into it in order to create this new record. I’m handling emails being sent out with a different provider so I don’t want the emails to be sent out from Acumatica.

Hello!We require to view the company who has created the document on the “Approvals” (EP503010) form. Is there a way that we can add the information to this table?Also, the user who will be approving the document will not have given access to view the transactions of created company and only be given the summary information to approve the document. I tried to take the information from a GI connecting Approval table with the Invoice table for an example. But since the user has no access to the created company, results are not available for that particular user. Amanda
We have one tenant, 3 companies and 4 branches. Is there a way to create a AR invoice in one branch and have the system automatically create the AP bill in the other? Due to tax and legal constraints we cannot use due to/from general ledger accounts.

We are using the manufacturing edition. Reference is drawn to Transfer documents, Pick List and/or Shipment Confirmation. These documents are printed to confirm physical transfer of goods. The frequency of such transactions is quite high even on a daily basis. So, is it possible to connect a biometric device to replace a printed document in such a way that the person receiving the goods uses a biometric fingerprint signature instead of using a printed document (to confirm the transfer/receipt/handover)? These documents have to be filed and are rarely referred to again. The same can still be achieved by simply registering the transfer through an unique biometric signature attached to a particular document/record. This will save a lot of paper and print costs as well.Comments/suggestions and/or solutions are welcome!Manish

Hi all, I would like to set up a contract that solely uses cases from the CRM module in a similar way to “beginning-period plus” billing from the service contract module. For example: The contract bills 5 hours up front each quarter, and at the end of the quarter, the hours that were actually spent on cases - if they exceed the 5 hours - should be billed as well. Working Scenario (Inventory → Activity): When navigating from Inventory > Stock Item (IN2025PL) to the Activity screen, the Related Entity field is enabled and functioning as a lookup. This suggests that the field is dynamically activated based on some context (probably related to the inventory item or another entity tied to the stock item). Non-Working Scenario (Opportunity → Activity): When you go directly from Profiles (Opportunity) > Activity (CR306010), the Related Entity field is not editable or available as a lookup. This indicates that certain context or conditions (present in the inventory scenario) are missing when you access the screen from the Opportunity profile.

We have several business units, setup as branches, which share numerous customers and vendors in common. We are looking for a way to control which customer and vendor discounts are applied based upon the branch of the order. For example, Branch A is extending a 25% discount to Customer A; Branch B is extending a 20% discount to Customer X.I understand that Acumatica uses a 2-factor matching strategy and our current customer discount setup is ‘Customer and Item Price Class’. Does anyone have a manageable method that might help extend differentiation to include Branch? We have hundreds of discounts and 7 branches (currently) that we would need to manage.TIA!Eric

Hi everyone,I'm facing an issue with a production order where the total quantity to produce was set to 11 units. However, the system shows that 22 units have been completed, even though the operator only received 11 units.Does anyone have insights into why the completed quantity is doubling, or what might be causing this discrepancy? Any advice on how to resolve this would be appreciated!
We come from a version update to 2023R2, and in tables like the original acumatica PREmployeeDeduct, when updating it the following error appears, which did not happen in the previous version 2021R1, for the migration we logically made 2 jumps, the database is in sql server 2017, please have any clue PD. I've checked other posts, but I can't find any clues.
