To control costs, we have implemented a spousal carve-out coverage provision if a spouse has health insurance available at their employer but chose to be on our plan instead. There is going to be an additional set “premium” amount above and beyond what just their spouses coverage would cost. What is the best way to handle this in ACU payroll? Does it need to have it’s own new deduction code set up? or can we simply just reduce the amount of the company’s contribution and increase the employees contribution by that set amount? Since it is an additional premium, it is pre-tax similar to the regular health care premium contributions. We want to be compliant but keep it as simple as possible.
Hello. has anyone ever seen this error? First time I’ve seen it. It came up after completing a refresh to our test environment from production and rolling costs.
Can anyone tell me if this is included in your Subscription or do you pay extra for it.
We just implemented RGAs in Acumatica. We have a scenario where customer orders A, but we ship B on accident. We need to credit them A and possibly send a replacement, but they are returning B so we will never really close out that return. We get product B back, but it isn’t associated with any order. How do other users handle this?Price adjust B to 0 on the return so they don’t get a credit for it?
Is there a way to set min/max levels at the location level and setup replenishment triggers between locations to replenish to/from? Could not find anything with WMS activated.
Hello,I have several Sales Orders that are completely shipped and invoiced, but are stuck on Open or Back Order status. I have even reopened them, added lines, shipped everything, invoiced it (with $0 amounts) and tried to close it, but it will not work. All of the invoices and shipments related to the SOs have been completed. I have tried using the Process Orders Screen, but it is not showing up in any of the options there either. Curiously, in one example the ordered Quantity in the header is 1,590, but the shipped quantity is 955 on the Shipments tab. The 955 is the correct quantity, but I’m unable to make a new shipment from the SO or directly from the Shipments screen and adding the SO. I suspect there were lines on this order that were deleted, so the header just never updates, but that would be very strange if the order can never be closed now because of that.I’ve also tried “Recalculate Prices”, which of course doesn’t help.Has anyone experienced something like this? Is the
Hi Community, We are planning to rework our Acumatica Global Search (or Universal search) and now we are collecting requirements for this feature. The most popular ideas like categories and including attributes have been already included, but still, we would like to ask for your opinion about any ideas and problems related to global search, feel free to write it here.
We are wanting to implement 2FA with Twilio SMS (Text a Code). Has anyone else done this and how did you handle the 10DLC Registration process? It appears you need to give the users the ability to opt-in and opt-out of the SMS process for Application to Person communications. Thanks,Brett
It's great that we have such a vibrant Acumatica community to get quick answers to questions and gain product knowledge! We have very active members jumping in to help others out all the time. The goal of the community is to respond to every member’s question so that no one goes away "empty handed".Connect, Learn, Share Acumatica Community Webinar - Understanding Cost Projections and WIP in Acumatica: What Every Project Team Should Know - December 16, 2025 - RecordingCost projections and WIP reporting are two of the most powerful tools in Acumatica’s project accounting. In this session, we’ll walk through how to build accurate projections, how they flow into your WIP report, and where teams typically get stuck. You’ll also see how the new WIP Adjustments option helps clean up variances without manual journal entries. This webinar is ideal for project accountants, controllers, and project managers who want clearer, more consistent project financials, and a deeper understanding of Acumati
Why is 'Default Printer ID' missing from the Mailing & Printing tab on 'Customer Management Preferences' (and multiple other similar places) in 25 R1?This is specifically a DeviceHub feature. I have DeviceHub enabled. I have also tried disabling/re-enabling.
Hi All,I encountered an error when opening certain invoices from the Invoices and Memos GI.The error message is:"Cannot open this record for editing: The form AR301000 does not contain it."However, these invoices open without any issue directly from the Invoices screen. The problem occurs only when opening them through the GI.I also verified the navigation settings, and both DocType and RefNbr are correctly assigned. Please advise if there are any known issues or if anything else needs to be checked.Regards,Lalith
Hello,We keep getting this error when trying to Issue Materials. This is happening for all finished products we are making using the item 00029049, regardless of lot. We had previously made production orders using this item numerous dozens of times before, most recently just four months ago. As I have highlighted, we have sufficient qty. On Hand, Available and Available for Shipping (we also have an equal amount as Available for Issue). There is no qty. allocated:We have checked the BOM and it is OK.We have deleted and recreated the Production Orders (using various lots we have on hand to see if it was truly a warehouse, warehouse location or allocation issue - it is not). The warehouse location allows sales. The location is the Default Issue From location for thousands of other items with no problem. The stock item is Active. We have Recalculated Inventory. This seems totally random and nothing we have done is fixing it. We are well versed with production orders and how they work, including
I am facing an issue while updating Shopify inventory to specific Unavailable states such as Damaged, Quality Control, and Safety Stock.I have tried by overriding the UpdateInventoryQuantities method in the SPAvailabilityProcessor extension, but could not find a way to update inventory into specific unavailable states. To further investigate, I tested Shopify GraphQL inventory mutations directly via Postman, including inventoryAdjustQuantities and inventoryMoveQuantities.Observed behavior:When using the inventoryMoveQuantities mutation, the inventory quantity is successfully updated and reflected as Unavailable in the Acumatica application. However, in Shopify, the same quantity is not categorized under the specific unavailable states such as Damaged, Quality Control, or Safety Stock, as shown in the screenshot. I have tested all available inventory add, update, and move mutations, but none achieve the expected result of updating these specific unavailable inventory buckets in Shopify.
Dear community! We always listen to your feedback and it is very helpful and valuable.I’m glad to share that in 26R1 we are introducing improvements to Project–Branch defaulting in Purchasing and AP documents. More details will be available in the release notes soon.We are continuing to move in this direction. At the moment, our main focus is on Employee Time Cards and Employee Time Activities in combination with Payroll and corresponding Project transactions and Journal transactions. We would really appreciate your feedback, especially around real-life payroll and time entry scenarios. In particular:Do you have cases where employees enter time for projects that belong to a different branch than the employee has, and this creates issues after time is released or payroll is processed? What is the semantic of the branches of such clients? Which payroll (built-in or external) is used? What branch do your customers expect to see in the project expense and employee liability and why? Which
I wanted to clarify an important point regarding sales pricing and purchase orders in Acumatica. The sales price on a Sales Order is independent of the vendor cost on the Purchase Order. In theory, changing the customer price should not affect the PO. However, when a Sales Order line is linked to a Drop Ship PO, Acumatica locks certain fields—including Unit Price—to maintain document integrity. This means that once the PO is closed, the system prevents editing the Unit Price on the Sales Order, even though the two values are unrelated. While we can adjust the price at the invoice level, this does not update the Sales Order itself, which impacts sales journal reports and historical accuracy. To ensure reporting reflects the correct price, we would need the ability to override the Unit Price on the Sales Order after PO closure. Currently, the workaround is to remove the PO link, apply the price change, and then proceed—but this is not ideal for audit trail purposes. Please let me know if the
Hii, i want to ask or maybe you can give about your experience and thought about taxes in Acuamtica. I want to find more about module taxes, specially about Tax Adjustment and Tax Bill and Adjustment, because i want to pay may witholding taxes but while i try to use the Taxes “Transactions” it end with the picture i put bellow:I try to use Tax and Bill Adjustments, but the tax zone is empt.I hope you can help me to learn about taxes, please help me to try understand this module or if you have any files like PDF about taxes in Acumatica, it will really helpful. Thank you for your kindness, i really appreciate.
If i am in the sales orders invoices screen, SO303000, and i select email invoice. Where is that template coming from? My goal is to alter this and add another report to the email.
The Sales Order screen has an option to “Recalculate Prices”, which displays a dialog box containing several options including “Set Current Unit Prices”. I’d like to invoke this functionality using the REST API. I’ve discovered the /SalesOrder/AutoRecalculateDiscounts API action, which seems to be the correct endpoint. However, I’m not sure how to pass a parameter indicating that ‘current unit prices’ should be set.A payload like this does not cause the unit prices to be updated: POST /entity/Default/22.200.001/SalesOrder/AutoRecalculateDiscounts HTTP/1.1{ "entity" : { "OrderType" : {"value" : "SO"}, "OrderNbr" : {"value" : "002215"} }, "parameters": { }}(EDIT: I’ll note that “DisableAutomaticDiscountCalculation” is set to false for the SO in question.)What’s the correct parameter to supply this endpoint for unit prices to be updated? The swagger.json file doesn’t appear to contain any information about parameters for this action. Any assistance is appreciated
We are working with Acumatica Modern UI and would like to ask for guidance on a UI behavior question. We need to dynamically show or hide a tab based on the value of a specific field. The field can have one of two values: “SHA” or “ASH”.When the field value is “SHA”, the tab should be visibleWhen the field value is “ASH”, the tab should be hidden (and vice versa, if applicable)
Does anyone know of a tool to mass update/copy/populate BOMs or Production Orders? My company is an engineer-to-order business that manufacture custom products under 4-5 product lines. For instance, Product Line #1 can have a seemingly infinite number of one-off configurations. To capture these types of products we typically use an “empty” BOM with just the routing and use the production order as the document where the BOM gets filled out (combined effort from estimating/project management/engineering departments). However, our end users are facing some difficulty with the time it takes to populate / mass-update production orders. For instance, we typically see sales orders of 80-100 repeatable (or non-repeatable which takes longer) one-off products that all fall under the same product line. These are specific to the customer and do not all ship at the same time so we choose to break them up by the ship date. So typically we would see a Sales Order with 80-100 individual lines since th
I want to fire an import scenario to update a user field on multiple stock items when the Vendor Price Worksheet is released. The BE will work only when Raise Event is For All Records which means the import scenario is run multiple times. I would like it to only run once.

Hi. Currently, I’m having some issues by expanding the following item of the endpoint (in order to retrieve the Email of a Contact related to a Project’s Address): The Tab, DAC, View and wanted field to retrieve in the endpoint (Project - PM301000)The wanted field to retrieve in endpoint, mappedThe error I got by trying to retrieve the field I would like to add, that the the View (Billing Contact) does not have any ContactID field to map, and also fails the endpoint even if I add it manually (and Validate the entity, which is valid, yet the error persists)The currently available fields in Billing_Contact viewDo any of you have some ideas of how to solve this topic?
I feel like I know nothing about SQL even after spending 10 plus years using it on other systems when it comes to trying to use Generic Inquiries to create reports. Which I have to do because Acumatica does not have the ability to write SQL directly against the database and produce results (This is a massive feature that I can’t believe is missing and hope 2025R2 addresses it). I need to create a Generic Inquiry that looks at Customer records takes a parameter for CreatedDateTime FROM and CreatedDateTime TO. All I need to do is look at Customers whose CreatedDateTime field falls between those two parameters and run a simply COUNT function to see how many customers were created between those two dates. This seems literally impossible to do via Generic Inquiry. In SQL all I would write is SELECT COUNT(*) FROM CustomersWHERE CreatedDateTime>=1/1/2014 AND CreatedDateTime<=1/31/2014Though if you look at the database you would actually need to query BAccount table to get this CreatedDa
