Business Card Recognition - phone number improvements

In 2021 R1, Acumatica provided the ability to take pictures of business cards and automatically add them as leads or contacts using an AI/ML engine. 

In many situations, the business phone number was not recognized (see image 1 below). In this case the user has to push the phone 1 button and select the phone number. 

To address this issue, we now have a customization project which eliminates this manual step (see image 2 below).  

Before installing fix: need to select Phone 1
After installing fix: phone 1 automatically recognized

    ​@Doug Johnson Is this function discontinued in acumatica. If yes, do we have any ISV solution for this function.

    ​@ranjithduraisamy72 Business Card Recognition was deprecated in the 2023 R2 release. See information in the release notes. The feature was not widely adopted and the future is digital. 

    There are tools that extract information from business cards and place the information in an Excel or CSV file that can be imported into Acumatica.
