Hi Team,One of our client is using multiple UOM(base Unit and Pallets) and they would still like to process SO with base UOM. But would like to see Converted UOM(Pallet Quantity) based on the order quantity in Sales Order.  Is this possible? Can someone help me on this?

Developer gurus,What is the best practice to send a custom report to DeviceHub and update a field to show that it has been printed?We have a custom Workflow Action that prints a custom report (labels) from the Production Order Maintenance screen.  The action opens the report on the screen and uses the “Field Updates” tab to update the IsReportPrinted field.Now instead of printing to the screen, we would like to print this report directly using DeviceHub.  Is there any way in the Low Code/NoCode framework to do this?I think we have some working code based on a very helpful thread and the response by @Gabriel Michaud, but I’m just wondering is there any way to accomplish this using the new workflow engine?  We hope to build in such a way that this will upgrade easily as Acumatica makes advancements to the workflow engine.Code is based on the example attached to this thread: using System;using PX.Data;using PX.Objects.IN;using PX.Objects.CS;using System.Collections;using System.Collection

Hello,I’ve been playing around with modifier options (I know, not supported), and trying to figure out the work around.  For my purposes, mapping the product options to Transactions.NoteText is exactly where I want them. It keeps them connected to the base product without adding additional columns on my SO screen as I’ve seen on some existing customizations for this.  The problem is, I’ll have multiple modifier options aka source fields that I would want to map to the Transactions.NoteText target field.Is there anyway to get multiple source fields to map to one target field?  I feel like I’m one line of code away from solving a major pain point for me.  Use case: We sell made-to-order blazers for airline pilots.  Long story short, there are 160,000 possible variations so making kits, matrixes, templates is not going to work for this.  Though I am open to any other ideas.  Thank you,Nathan

What is the best way to customize the SOQuickProcess Extension? It is located as a nested class in PX.Objects.SO.SOOrderEntry.My assumption would be to start with a fresh extension, but I wanted to ask first.

I have some questions around PXDBDate fieldsI’m trying to understand when does a date field care about UTC and when does it not?  Looking at SODate.OrderDate I see that it doesn’t store any time value. Jan 1st, 2023 is always that date regardless of the time when the order was placed or what my timezone setting is.I added a date field to SO Line and when I update the value of the field there is no time component. And, yet, the column is displayed in UTC. I’m in PST (-8) so if I enter 2023-02-01 with no time component and then change my timezone, the display value changes. The database is holding no time component.So my two questions are:How do I set up a Date field that does act like a UTC value? In other words, the date I’m entering is “local time” and it will adjust depending on the user’s timezone setting. How do I set up a Date only field that does not act like a UTC value? Hello,  I see some errors on system monitor:When I go to Process push notifications, yes , there are also errors. I did NOT configure or Activated any push notifications.  My question:1, What is this all about? I did not configure to send notifications why it is kept sending?2, how can I stop these errors? I don’t know what are them for. I don’t need them.

The Restrictor attribute  PX.Objects.PR.ProjectWithWarningsAttribute became an issue for me after adding an additional stage to my Project workflow.  The additional stage required an appended/expanded version of the PXStringListAttribute for the Project Status field. This caused an issue with the ProjectWithWarningsAttribute. When pMProject.Status != "A" it calls string text = new ProjectStatus.ListAttribute().ValueLabelDic[pMProject.Status];This causes a key not found in dictionary exception as my ProjectStatus_Ext is being used and contains keys not in the standard ProjectStatus ValueLabelDic.My suggestion would be to use TryGetValue and to use the IsActive field in the project rather than checking if the Status field equals ‘A’.

I’m working on a simple customization to extend the field length of the Summary (Description) field in the grid of the the Employee Time Activities screen. I’ve updated the field length with a database script included in the package (I’ve confirmed that the length is changed in the database) and I’ve updated the DAC (PMTimeActivity) to reflect the new 4000 character limit.[PXDBString(4000, InputMask = "", IsUnicode = true)][PXDefault][PXUIField(DisplayName = "Summary", Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible)][PXFieldDescription][PXNavigateSelector(typeof(PX.Objects.CR.CRPMTimeActivity.summary))]The field on the Employee Time Activities screen still only accepts the default 256 character limit. It seems like this change isn’t being inherited in the EPActivityApprove DAC that the Employee Time Activities screen uses. Either I’m running into a bug or I’m missing something simple here.

I seem to be getting caught more and more by this.  I have this line of code:orderGraph.Document.Current = orderGraph.Document.Search<SOOrder.orderType, SOOrder.orderNbr>(graphBulk.Order.Current.OrderType, graphBulk.Order.Current.OrderNbr);I believe it should be looking for a sales order record. It worked fine in testing with SO for the order type.  Then we added another order type, BK, and this code failed to find the record.So I switched the code to this:SOOrder order = SOOrder.PK.Find(graphBulk, graphBulk.Order.Current.OrderType, graphBulk.Order.Current.OrderNbr);And it finds the record without a problem.So what is the Search method doing that causes it not to find the record?  Sometimes I will need to use a search but I need to be able to understand why it operates differently (and cannot find the SO record when I’ve supplied both key field values).

I followed the topic and I was able to add an icon to a custom workspace.  YAY However, the svg icon looks pretty ugly.  If you open the svg file in Chrome, this is what it looks like:I modeled my svg file that I placed on the web server to follow the formatting of one of the manufacturing icons already on the site.  My svg file has a bunch of paths whereas the manufacturing.svg file only has one path per symbol. PRETTY UGLY.  If anyone has any experience with svg files, I’ve uploaded the original file that looks great when viewed directly in a browser.  I also uploaded the file as I currently have on the site. Original file is merge_icon_Original.svg and the one I am using is merge_icon.svg.  I zipped them up so that I could upload them here.Any help formatting this svg file to get it looking pretty would be greatly appreciated!

I have deployed SSRS-Scale out along with Azure Load balancer. Seems it is working but I see the below error for some executions. Seems Report viewer cache the session along with the user name of local instances in the database and if the successive request goes another instance, it gives an error.I can avoid this issue by changing the session affinity of azure load balancer (by client IP), but all of my requests will be coming from the same source. How can I solve the issue? Is there a way to remove session caching for the report viewer?

Hi,I have created a new custom field called LineCtr   (Line Counter) to the PMTask DAC, and I want the value that a user enters in this field to appear in the LineCntr field that is in the PMRevenueBudget column called LineCntr (Line Counter).In the Projects screen, the custom field I have created is in the Tasks tab, and the field I want to update is in the Revenue Budget tab. Hay guys, I had a great shipping API customisation which was working, however it stopped working. I went to debug and this method of accessing the packages doesn’t work anymore.
