I’ve seen a few other posts mentioning odd behavior with different time zones between employees.Here is what I need to resolve - User A - Eastern Time Zone. Branch A. They create a time card with 8 hours on Monday - Saturday, so 48 hours total.User B - Central Time Zone. Branch B. They view User A’s timecard and can see 8 hours Monday - Thursday but Friday is now showing 16 hours, nothing for Saturday. Tried creating a second work calendar with time zone of EST and work hours 9am - 6pm but same issue. This is causing issues because User B is the one that would be processing payroll and it’s posting incorrectly.  

In mobile app we have a appointment listing screen under services.We need to add project and default project task field in listing screen.I am able to open listing screen in app but I cannot find any existing listing screen in mobile app customization screen.Web portal screen ID: FS3002PL So, I added it. I am not following how can we access this screen and how to add fields.

Hi there,I’m just completing the Lesson 6 of the P100 training module, and it stops the lesson’s steps when an item has been issued, and doesn’t cover how to issue stock to the project (i.e., have the actual cost appear under the Project’s cost budget.So being curious, I went and processed an Inventory Issue against the project, expecting this to move it to an actual project cost at that point, but it doesn’t appear under the “Actual Amount” column on the respective row within the “Cost Budget” tab, and I can’t seem to understand why. Under other posts within the community that I’ve read, they also suggest that what I’ve done should work.Business scenario is that I have 2x JUICER10C Inventory items which are being purchased and then issued to Project HMBAKERY2 (which has Inventory Tracking set to “Track by Location”), I would perform the below steps:Raise PO for 2x JUICER10C, mapping it against Project HMBAKERY2. Hi, our team was working through creating T&M Pro Forma and made the mistake of marking several transaction rows as Write Off and we need to correct them. We went through the normal correction process of Reverse and Apply through the AR screens.When we attempt to create the replacement Pro Forma, it is not pulling in the transaction rows for the items marked as Write Off in the previous version. The AR Credit Memo generated new transaction rows for the billed items, but did not reverse the incidental Write Offs.Is there a step that we missed, or alternate solution to recapturing these Write-Offs? Other than manually adding transaction rows to the Pro Forma?

Hi, I created a PO using a normal type for a stock item in a project. I created an issue to allocate the expense to the project. No issues there. I applied a PO receipt against the PO and paid the A/P bill. I do not need to reverse the A/P bill. However, I want to reverse the stock item out of the project and put it back to inventory by doing a PO Receipt return. I am on 24r1 and keep on getting this error message below what I am doing wrong? Is there another way to reverse out an expense allocated to a PO and stock item in a project? I don’t have a warehouse 236. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information I can provide.  Thanks,Frances  

Hi,I created a cost budget line item and created a Project Drop Ship PO on a stock item. I applied a PO Receipt and entered the A/P Bill for the PO. However, Acumatica is creating a duplicate line item like below: but when the expense is allocated to the project via A/P it’s offsetting against the correct line item below:Here are my project preferences on drop shipments:  What I am I doing wrong? Any guidance would help. I am also attaching more screenshots on this issue. Thanks,Frances  

HI, We have created an employee time card and created a Pro forma invoice.In Pro forma Invoice we have changed the Qty to invoice as less amount.We changed the line status to "Hold Remainder".When we ran the next billing, the system created 2nd invoice lines as we expected.However, the remaining qty(From the Previous bill) relevant lines have been duplicated.Could we stop this duplication? Attached is the screenshot.

I can’t find a way to mass remove the hold box - does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere or any mass action to remove hold on Employee Time Activities? All we need is the time activities that sync from WFG to be completed and then can use mass action to RELEASE them in screenID EP507020  

Hi, Is it possible to get the value of the parameter of a GI and put it in the New Record Defaults? 

I have an scenario, the inventory has a zero cost when it received to project layer and using new warehouse (Cost Separately is enabled) where there is zero cost for the inventory. However, when issuing the same inventory from the zero-cost warehouse for production materials, the system assigns a cost and posts it to the WIP account.

I’ve created a Sales Order and assigned it to a Project. At the line level, I have both Stock and Non-Stock Items, each assigned to a Project Task. The invoice has been successfully processed for the Non-Stock Items. However, I’m unable to process the shipment for the Stock Item with quantity and zero value.The issue arises because the system doesn't allow stock allocation, showing that the quantity will go negative, even though there is enough available for shipping. This only happens when a Task ID is assigned to the line item. Without a Task ID, it doesn’t allow saving or shipping, as the Sales Order is associated with a Project.Can anyone help me understand what I might be doing wrong or missing in this process? Appreciate your expertise!

How do I access submittals on the mobile app?

There is an action for AP Invoices -  “Release retainage directly”How it works? As far as I understand, when you click on this button, it should be carried out automatically without creating an additional invoice. When I click, nothing happens. Perhaps I need to enable some additional settings?For Accouts Payable Preferences I enabled  Automatically Release Retainage Documents.  

I posted a journal entry to a project ID and the resulting PMTRAN does NOT agree to the journal entry.The journal entry hit two accounts, but both lines were to the same ProjectID - only the CostCODEID were different.The journal entry, obviously, balanced but the resulting PMTRAN has two debits.I have no idea what I could have done to get Acumatica to do this.  I know I can post a PMTran to correct this but I’m concerned that this happened.  Up to this point I have not posted ANY PMTrans (accumatica has generated all of my PM activity) and I have been able to fully reconcile all of my GL activity to my PM activity.Does anyone have any suggestions?  

HiWe develop an external project scheduling & time recording toolset that integrates with Acumatica.  Recently we’ve had a number of issues where customers have been setting the status of project tasks to Active while leaving the project status at In-Planning. While we believe this is users simply forgetting to activate the project, we’ve struggled to understand the logic behind why this is possible.  What purpose is there for activating tasks before the project?Doing a bit of research, I’ve found quite a few have put in workflow automations to link the project and task status.  Other research results have been a little conflicting as to how valid this scenario is.Clearly since Acumatica allows it, there must be some legitimate reason which I’m not aware off. We’re just trying to decide the best way we can handle this situation.Appreciate the feedback. 

How can I delete a change order from a project without reversing it. I’ve attempted to reverse the change order and it created a mess within the project costs by doubling everything. I just need to delete it off the project and change order “module/workspace” to be able to re-import it. I do not want to reverse it, I just need it deleted completely.

Hello,We are a construction subcontractor looking at this platform. It appears Acumatica is geared more towards operations at the GC level. Are there any subcontractors, construction or other trades, currently using the system that could offer and insight/pro’s, con’s, etc.?Thanks,Jeff

We currently have our Empty Item UOM in our Project Preferences as HOUR. We are trying to change this so our Empty Item UOM will be EA. When we try changing this, we get an error message saying that the Project records could not be updated due to at least three fields being empty; Allocation Rule, Billing Rule, and Branch.Going through all our projects, the only project with empty values is Project X, the Non-Project code Project.

 Hi there,I’ve been trying to test allocations following the video on YouTube:Set up Allocation Rules to Recognize Revenue - Acumatica Construction EditionI used REVREC allocation rule and UNRECREV billing rule in the demo tenant. It works fine, billing reduces 21050 as shown on the video and other steps are good. However, when it comes to out of the box reporting it doesn’t work well. For example, Construction Bonding Report shows revenue recognized (earned revenue) as Earned Revenue = % Complete * Contract Amount. I guess that makes sense as it’s just multiples total % complete by the total contract amount. But it does look weird and inconsistent. In this example below, the system automatically recognized 25% of task revenue based on the 25%cost task completion.

Hi:Our Acumatica Hackathon 2025 team 10 aka Funnel Cake plans to create an application that will enable a construction/field service company to create a site and then for each site the required projects.From my observations, construction companies have several projects on a site. For instance, a college campus needs two new buildings: one for the dept of engineering and one for the dept of mathematics. The college campus is a site and there is a project for each building. The construction company wants to see the total actual revenue and the total actual cost of the site. It wants to see the status ( in process, on hold, completed, cancelled). It wants to see the address, contact information, start date, target end date, etc. of the site.This will be an application that will be free on Github. Any Acumatica Partners and customers will benefit from it.Please give me your feedback asap since the Hackathon starts on 1/24/25 at noon.Thanks.
