We have had requests from clients to add information to the header of the AIA Report but are unable to connect the tables due to the way the report is designed. One example was to add the Primary Contact from the Customer screen which does not work. This is due to the way the report is structured. You can only use the available tables because the report was designed to not edit beyond the available tables. This should have been an Idea and I am adding as an Idea.

Some online services like Facebook and Amazon give users a choice, when clicking on their URLs contained within emails, of navigating to the pages in a browser or choosing to view them in their mobile app. Is there a way to accomplish this with Acumatica?  We've configured notifications containing URLs providing quick and easy access to forms in Acumatica.  For example, an email notifying someone that a subcontract awaits their approval contains a link to the subcontract in Acumatica.  We would prefer, when a user clicks on such a link in an email on their mobile device, to be given the option to open it in the Acumatica app instead of the browser.

Hi,We are a construction company that job costs everything. We were set-up to have our non-stock items like Materials and Equipment to require receipt and shipment but it seems like it would be easier since we job cost everything to take off those requirements and just create an AP bill against the PO when it’s received.Is that what other construction companies are doing and/or is that best practice? Any adverse consequences that I’m not thinking about changing our set-up/process?Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.

We’ve had a request from our QS to see all new change orders in a period.  We wants this in addtional to the substantiated billing report.  But, I can’t find anything that does this.  Do I have to manually find each change order created in a period and then print them out to a PDF one at a time?This kinda feels like something most QS’s might want and I’m a bit surprised I can’t find anything to produce this.  It must be a user problem, right?

I have a question regarding the capabilities of the Manufacturing version of Acumatica. Specifically, I am interested in knowing if it is possible to create progress invoicing and job costing within this module.In my search, I often find guidance pointing towards the Construction module for these features. Can anyone confirm if these functionalities are available in the Manufacturing version. Thank you in advance for your assistance ! 

Is there anyway out of the box to have subtotals show up on the AIA Continuation Sheet for the Original Contract and then the Change Orders? This is what our AIAs looked like out of our old system:Thanks!

We have a client on 2022 R2 that has the Construction module. Under Projects in the Cost Budget, users are able to delete a line item that has amounts reflected under the Actual Amount Column and Save without any warning messages. Is this a known issue or possible bug? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,Frances  

Looking for tips/help on updating the default Empty Item UOM from HOUR to EA. When we try and change it we get errors but can’t find where it’s pulling the errors from - our templates all have branch/billing rule/allocation rules filled out (as do our projects). And there isn’t anywhere to select defaults for those on the preferences page.  here is the error we get: Is this a customization?

Each time we add a new scope (task) to our projects or make tasks that were in planning active, it makes all of the scopes in projects invisible in our time tracking in WFG. The work around is to make ALL scopes inactive and save. Wait for it to sync to WFG and then make them all active, save and wait for it to sync.  It seems each should sync independently of each other.   

I’ve seen a few other posts mentioning odd behavior with different time zones between employees.Here is what I need to resolve - User A - Eastern Time Zone. Branch A. They create a time card with 8 hours on Monday - Saturday, so 48 hours total.User B - Central Time Zone. Branch B. They view User A’s timecard and can see 8 hours Monday - Thursday but Friday is now showing 16 hours, nothing for Saturday. Tried creating a second work calendar with time zone of EST and work hours 9am - 6pm but same issue. This is causing issues because User B is the one that would be processing payroll and it’s posting incorrectly.  

In mobile app we have a appointment listing screen under services.We need to add project and default project task field in listing screen.I am able to open listing screen in app but I cannot find any existing listing screen in mobile app customization screen.Web portal screen ID: FS3002PL So, I added it. I am not following how can we access this screen and how to add fields.

Hi there,I’m just completing the Lesson 6 of the P100 training module, and it stops the lesson’s steps when an item has been issued, and doesn’t cover how to issue stock to the project (i.e., have the actual cost appear under the Project’s cost budget.So being curious, I went and processed an Inventory Issue against the project, expecting this to move it to an actual project cost at that point, but it doesn’t appear under the “Actual Amount” column on the respective row within the “Cost Budget” tab, and I can’t seem to understand why. Hi, our team was working through creating T&M Pro Forma and made the mistake of marking several transaction rows as Write Off and we need to correct them. We went through the normal correction process of Reverse and Apply through the AR screens.When we attempt to create the replacement Pro Forma, it is not pulling in the transaction rows for the items marked as Write Off in the previous version. The AR Credit Memo generated new transaction rows for the billed items, but did not reverse the incidental Write Offs.Is there a step that we missed, or alternate solution to recapturing these Write-Offs? Other than manually adding transaction rows to the Pro Forma?

Hi, I created a PO using a normal type for a stock item in a project. I created an issue to allocate the expense to the project. No issues there. I applied a PO receipt against the PO and paid the A/P bill. I do not need to reverse the A/P bill. However, I want to reverse the stock item out of the project and put it back to inventory by doing a PO Receipt return. I am on 24r1 and keep on getting this error message below what I am doing wrong? Is there another way to reverse out an expense allocated to a PO and stock item in a project? I don’t have a warehouse 236. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information I can provide.  Thanks,Frances  

Hi,I created a cost budget line item and created a Project Drop Ship PO on a stock item. I applied a PO Receipt and entered the A/P Bill for the PO. However, Acumatica is creating a duplicate line item like below: but when the expense is allocated to the project via A/P it’s offsetting against the correct line item below:Here are my project preferences on drop shipments:  What I am I doing wrong? HI, We have created an employee time card and created a Pro forma invoice.In Pro forma Invoice we have changed the Qty to invoice as less amount.We changed the line status to "Hold Remainder".When we ran the next billing, the system created 2nd invoice lines as we expected.However, the remaining qty(From the Previous bill) relevant lines have been duplicated.Could we stop this duplication? Attached is the screenshot.

I can’t find a way to mass remove the hold box - does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere or any mass action to remove hold on Employee Time Activities? All we need is the time activities that sync from WFG to be completed and then can use mass action to RELEASE them in screenID EP507020  

Hi, Is it possible to get the value of the parameter of a GI and put it in the New Record Defaults? 

I have an scenario, the inventory has a zero cost when it received to project layer and using new warehouse (Cost Separately is enabled) where there is zero cost for the inventory. However, when issuing the same inventory from the zero-cost warehouse for production materials, the system assigns a cost and posts it to the WIP account.

I’ve created a Sales Order and assigned it to a Project. At the line level, I have both Stock and Non-Stock Items, each assigned to a Project Task. The invoice has been successfully processed for the Non-Stock Items. However, I’m unable to process the shipment for the Stock Item with quantity and zero value.The issue arises because the system doesn't allow stock allocation, showing that the quantity will go negative, even though there is enough available for shipping. This only happens when a Task ID is assigned to the line item. Without a Task ID, it doesn’t allow saving or shipping, as the Sales Order is associated with a Project.Can anyone help me understand what I might be doing wrong or missing in this process? Appreciate your expertise!
