I am having a problem when I print an AIA Proforma Invoice for a project that has a change order with a cancelled status.  The change order does not show on the second page of the report, but it shows in the cancelled change order value in the Change Order Summary area.  In the screenshot below, the additions should be $80,219.25.  There was is a cancelled change order in the value of $25,645 being included that shouldn’t be.  Is this a known issue or how could I customize the report to eliminate the cancelled change orders from the change order summary?

@Laura Carpenter @eoddo  are these cancelled changed orders or reversed?

@Heidi Dempsey  they are cancelled not reversed. A PM created the change order but didn’t release it. Just changed it to cancelled status so he could maintain the history.

@Heidi Dempsey i reversed the change orders because they were already posted.

@Heidi Dempsey do you have any thoughts on how we could adjust the AIA report?  Thanks!

@Laura Carpenter, I am not able to duplicate in 24R1, what version are you on?  I think a case should be created so we can look at the data.

@Heidi Dempsey we just upgraded to 2023R2.  I can submit a support case if you feel that is the best path forward.

We just had the same circumstance with 2024-R2 where a user entered in a CO for $115,000 but really wanted a $15,000 change order.  The bottom part of the AIA document showed a $130,000 billing amount with a $115,000 deduction with a net change of $15,000.  The client did not like the way that presented to their customer on the AIA report because they would have to admit to making the error in the first place.  They would have preferred that the cancelled CO would have just ‘dropped off’ the report.

Anyone found a solution for this yet? I am experiencing the same issue

We’re running into the same issue. We have a change order that was originally reversed, then canceled. The amount is pulling into the Change Order Summary Additions and Deductions box. Line 2 Net Change by Change Orders is reflecting the correct amount, and page 2 is reflecting the correct amount, it’s just the Change Order Summary that is incorrect and not consistent with the other information contained on the AIA. We don’t have any real deductions, but because of the reversed change order, it is showing money in the deduction's box. I looked at the coding in report designer and it’s [PMProformaInfo.ChangeOrderDeductionPrevious] which tells me nothing on how to correct this error. Does this need to be completely recoded to include a formula or pull from another field so that the reversed/cancelled CO won’t reflect? We are on 24R2. This was originally posted a year ago, so I’m hoping someone has some sort of answer by now. Thanks!
