I’m excited to share these Three AMAZING new features that our wonderful JAMIS Prime Development Team has instore for ALL JAMIS Prime 9.0 Customers.
AI Assistant, Copilot, Machine Learning for JAMIS Mobile App
• AI Assistant
JAMIS Prime now includes an embedded AI Assistant designed to help users answer questions, build Generic Inquiries, and support help/documentation requests using natural language prompts. The goal is to automate up to 80% of the inquiry-building process, with future enhancements planned for business events and dashboard creation.
Additional AI capabilities include:
- Integration with Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing secure connections to external tools, databases, and systems such as Outlook and Salesforce.
- FedRAMP compliance enhancements to ensure operational data remains secure and access is governed by user permissions.
- Anomaly detection in accounting processes and the ability to explain system calculations and features directly within Prime.
- Future roadmap enhancements for Prime 10+, including AI Studio for analytics, summarization, and advanced reporting capabilities.
• Microsoft Copilot Integration
JAMIS Prime now supports integration with Microsoft Copilot through Copilot Studio, allowing users to securely query JAMIS data directly within Microsoft 365 applications.
Key features include:
- Azure AD authentication and role-based security compatibility.
- SharePoint data synchronization and connector support.
- Integration with other business systems such as Salesforce through adapter libraries.
- Experimental customer testing opportunities for integrations with Copilot, Gemini, and Microsoft Teams.

• Machine Learning for Expense Receipts in the JAMIS Prime Mobile App
JAMIS has implemented machine learning within the mobile app to simplify and automate expense receipt processing.
Capabilities include:
- Automatic extraction of receipt information such as vendor name, transaction date, and amount from receipt photos.
- Smart suggestions for expense categories and matching expense reports based on prior user behavior.
- Continuous learning that improves accuracy over time based on employee submission patterns.
The streamlined process allows users to:
- Take a photo of the receipt.
- Verify the extracted information.
- Save the expense.
- Allow the system to automatically prefill fields and attach receipts to the appropriate expense report.
