Hi, in MYOB Acumatica/Advanced Payroll, how do I setup an automation to send out payslips every Thursday? The client have a weekly payrun on Thursdays and want the payslip to be sent automatically. I have tried to setup an automation schedule for Process Payslips screen, but it did not send an email. I think it’s because the automation doesn’t know which payrun to send as at the time I set it up, the payrun has not commenced yet.

1. Can this be setup via Business Events? If so, I can’t find any GI that I can use to trigger by schedule.

2. Or is it better to create a Generic Inquiry to show completed pay runs and then setup a business events against that GI?

I’m not a Payroll expert, but here’s my findings after a quick look around:
There are two screens named Process Payslips.

MPPP5210 allows you to perform actions for an individual Pay run ID.
You are able to create Automation Schedules for this screen, even though it requires the selection of a specific Pay run ID, which I don’t see how an Automation Schedule would handle correctly each time.

MPPP5215 allows you to perform actions for multiple Pay run IDs.
I’m thinking you should be able to create an Automation Schedule from this screen with the relevant parameters and/or column filtering to achieve your automated emailing.

Hi ​@Graeme Laughton-Mutu - the payrun hasn’t commenced yet at the time of setting up the automation, so I’m unable to filter that specific pay run. I’ve raised this with MYOB PSE team and Bronwyn said that their service consultants has had trouble getting this to work. Bronwyn has raised this as a HubSpot ticket and is currently with their Support team.

I’ll try second option in my post and see if that is possible. Thanks for your response!
