I’m testing the hierarchy system of Item Classes and have a question on what I can report/filter with them. Particularly, when I filter on a parent item class I would like to see all of its child entities. For example, if my hierarchy is:1.1.11.1.21.2.11.2.21.3.11.3.2I would like to filter on 1.x.x and see everything or I could filter on 1.2.x and only see the 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 or filter on 1.3.2 to just see those items. Is that possible?Another example of what I’m looking for is how the Inventory by Item Class (IN408000) screen gives the options of ‘Related to Only the Current Item Class’ or ‘Related to the Current and Child Item Classes’.I do understand that I could filter on ‘Contains’ as opposed to ‘Equals’, but that is on more thing to explain to people.-Adam

I'm working to upgrade from 2019R1 to 2021R2.Credit card processing is quite different in 21R2 than I'm familiar with. I need some direction for how to process Sales Orders with Credit Cards using the REST API in 21R2.I'm currently using the REST API to insert Sales Orders with a credit card payment (authorized only, not captured) using the SalesOrder endpoint. As part of the API call to the SalesOrder endpoint, I only have to provide the PaymentMethod and external PreAuthorizationNbr. This corresponds to a tab in the SO called "Payment Settings". It works great, but no longer exists in 21R2. I understand that I now need to use the Sales Order -> Payments tab, but it's not clear to me how to associate the external pre-authorization with the Payment and Application using the REST API.Can anyone point me to documentation or examples or using the REST API to insert Sales Orders with pre-authorized (or even captured) credit card transactions.Should I use the REST API to build a Payment

Labor A clock entry into a work order 1, when I try to test if A can clock in to run Work order 2 at the same time, looks like A has to clock out from Work order 1 first.. but the real situation is A can work on 1 and 2 at the same time.Does anyone know how to solve this problem?thank youZoey

Does anyone have an efficient way to grant a user view only access to the entire database?Thinking of an external auditor or a C-Level client, who wants to be able to poke around, but should not be able to create/modify/delete anything.Outside of creating a role and then clicking on every single form and saying view only.Hoping someone has come up with something more efficient!Thank you!

Does anyone know if there are Russian language screen overlays available? ThanksJames

Hello, our client wants to have Quarterly and Annually credit terms. Could you help me to manage that. Thank you.

I am creating a Access role so a user can only view Sales Order (SO). But I need the same person to be able to create a Credit Memo (CM). When I click the plus sign, the new CM is started, but all the other fields are view only.  Does Acumatica have the ability to limit access based on Order Type or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

We are trying to set up the Mobile App for all users to utilize (specifically for Scanning and item lookup). Within our UAT tenant, I have access to all the needed modules within the app, however when I switch over to our main tenant I no longer have these screens. From as far as we can tell, my security settings our the same between the two tenants. Any suggestions on what needs to be adjusted? I’ve attached screenshots of my visibility on both UAT and live. I have double checked that there are no hidden modules in the top left.

I added a bunch of items via the REST API to Stock Items. I then did an update on the description of those Stock Items (generally the description was longer than the original) also using the REST API. In the search for Stock Items, the items appear with the correct description. However in Inventory Item search launched from a Sales Order, when I search for these same items, the Description is truncated. Does anyone know why I am seeing this discrepancy? Is there something about the Inventory Stock Item search launched from a Sales Order that caches the description independent of the search available on the Stock Items screen?

Currently, we are displaying imagery in the SO Line items from image files that are uploaded into Acumatica. However, this is causing a great deal of performance issues and we are trying to figure out how to instead load these images from an external CDN HTTPS URL so that we can avoid all Acumatica related calls and server processing to display these images. In this scenario, we would be calling an AWS Cloudfront CDN URL that is completely separate from the Acumatica server.Does anyone have any advise as to how to best handle?

Hello, tried many different things to get the Tool Schedule (AM000014) running! Unfortunatelly without any success. Always getting a empty screen.  Does someone knows any tip or trick to get some results in that screen? Pretty sure to have all neccessary setup done. Thanks a lot. BR

I’m trying to update the Vendor Inventory ID found on the Vendor Details tab of the Stock Items screen. I want to look up the record using the Vendor ID and the Purchase Unit of Measure. I’ve tried a couple of combinations thinking that the order might be important but I’m missing something. This first attempt was to populate the VendorId variable and then the Purchase UOM variable, but that didn’t work.Trying to populate custom key one field at a timeThe second attempt was to capture both search values and then apply them:Capturing values first before searching for themDo I have the search key configured incorrectly or is searching on multiple fields a challenge?  I realize that I could probably create a screen on the POVendorInventory table to update the records without going through the Stock Items screen but I was hoping that there is something that I’ve missed.

Hi, I’ve recently had the need to set an existing contact within an import scenario.  For the mailing recipient for a form on a customer and also the contact on a Service Order.  I thought I had accomplished this before using the assigned contact ID field from the contact table in the import scenario (not the actual contact name) but in both these cases, I keep getting a contact not found message in my import scenario when using the corresponding contact ID.  Any ideas on what I’m missing?  Is the contact ID still the correct value to use?  Thanks,

Is it possible to add two vendors to a stock item using the import scenario?

Receiving message:'One or more lines have unassigned Location and/or Lot/Serial Number' error when saving an inventory adjustment transaction The Adjustment is to add a quantity to a valid Location. The QOH for the item is -0-. The purpose of the adjustment transaction is to have bring the inventory records to reflect the proper actual QOH.Is there a means of assigning a location to be valid for a given Inventory Item? The location was previously used to record a quantity of the same Item before it went to zero.
