A number of clients are creating GI’s.  We are concerned that they could accidently change existing GI’s that they had not created or even system GI’s. Is there a way from preventing this from happening ? Thanks James

I have a production order with multiple moves, on two of those operations I produced two more units than planned for.  EX.  operation one planned: 25,  made: 27.  operation two, planned 25, made 27.  operation 3  planned 25 made 25.  The production order completed at 25 and it got closed, the extra two units never made it through the final operation and are now sitting in the WIP account.  Is there a way to clean this up?  It is my first time using multilevel BOMs in a production order and this is the first big mistake that has come up.  Thanks!

Hi Community,I’m hearing things about dashboards working dynamically for the user who is logged in but I’m not finding much on this topic in the community. Can anyone tell me if it’s possible and point me in the right direction for this? Our case: We have over 10 salespersons and each have their own salesperson associate (support person). Up until now they’ve had one dashboard used in a “Create User Copy” mode but maintaining this is getting cumbersome. We want to take this to the next level - first thought was using parameters but that means the rep has to enter their ID every day, then someone mentioned dynamic logged in by user. We have our Salesperson to Employee to User linked using their one ID but does anyone have more information on how to create this? Thanks!

My ultimate goal is to have MRP tell me how much of an item I can manufacture based on the materials I have in stock.Example: We purchase potatoes in bulk (it has a stock item of Potato Variety - Bulk)We sell that potato in 3 different sizes via manufacturingPotato Variety - Size APotato Variety - Size BPotato Variety - Size CI want MRP to tell me how many of each size I can make not just based on SO but based on the supply of the bulk potato when the sales date of all of the above sizes (first come first served).I thought turning off MRP for the bulk items would help with this but it still seems to be only looking at total sales and not the supply to make the sizes. Thanks!

When I do a BOM cost rollup, it is pulling the cost of the old revision and putting that cost into the pending cost instead of the latest revision. For example:One part may have 4 revisions based on changes we have made to a part (REV A was the original BOM and then we created REV 1, 2, 3, 4 based on the customers needs). Instead of pulling REV 4 which is the current rev, it is pulling REV A’s cost and putting that into the pending cost field instead of REV 4.

We want to automate the "Auth on ecomm, Capture in ERP" process. Is there a way to do this in Acumatica?

Hello all,I have been trying to login to Acumatica report designer of an instance. I can login to that instance via AD only. So how can I now login to Report designer?

We have defined an action on SOShipment and exposed it via the REST API.  When we call the action for the API we define a query string param $select=ShipmentNbr.  The action succeeds, but the the return body is empty.  We expected to see an SOShipment, with the ShipmentNbr specified.  How can we fix this? Here are the details On SOShipmentEntryExt, we define an action named AddShipmentNbr. public PXAction<SOShipment> AddShipmentNbr; [PXUIField(DisplayName = "Add ShipmentNbr", MapEnableRights = PXCacheRights.Select, MapViewRights = PXCacheRights.Select)] [PXButton()] public virtual IEnumerable addShipmentNbr(PXAdapter adapter) { ... }We exposed this action as an Action on the Shipment REST API, naming it LockShipmentMutex. We construct a call in PostmanPOST {{PackingEndpointURL}}/Shipment/LockShipmentMutex?$select=ShipmentNbrBODY{ "entity": { "id": "6B4E9A21-78F6-EA11-96A4-000D3A610F1B" }}The ac

Hi lovely people,we use the Acumatica Device Hub to print shipping labels automatically from our ERP. Unfortunately I didn’t set it up myself, so I don’t know if some option is not set up correctly. The problem is, that the Print job get’s created twice most of the time, so the shipping label gets printed twice. Here is the xml configuration code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><configuration> <userSettings> <Acumatica.DeviceHub.Properties.Settings> <setting name="Login" serializeAs="String"> <value>placeholder</value> </setting> <setting name="Password" serializeAs="String"> <value>placeholder</value> </setting> <setting name="AcumaticaUrl" serializeAs="String"> <value>https://cookline.haufe-x360.app/</value> </setting> <setting name="Queues" serialize

All,We’re currently on 23R2 and in the process of upgrading to 24R2, testing it on the supplied sandbox. One change we noted (I think this happened back in 24R1) -- customers on credit hold are now selectable from the Customer field in the sales order screen. We DO NOT want to place orders for Customers on credit hold. :) So I changed the code (probably incorrectly)original attribute:[PXDefault] [Customer(typeof(Search<BAccountR.bAccountID, Where<True, Equal<True>>>), // TODO: remove fake Where after AC-101187Visibility = PXUIVisibility.SelectorVisible,DescriptionField = typeof(Customer.acctName),Filterable = true)][CustomerOrOrganizationInNoUpdateDocRestrictor][PXRestrictor(typeof(Where<Optional<SOOrder.isTransferOrder>, Equal<True>,Or<Customer.status, IsNull,Or<Customer.status, Equal<CustomerStatus.active>,Or<Customer.status, Equal<CustomerStatus.oneTime>,Or<Customer.status, Equal<CustomerStatus.creditHold>>>&

I have read over the instructions for adding custom fields to the new Modern UI, however I am getting this error. The field Document.UsrICProjectTaskID cannot be bound to a FieldState.Attached are the HTML and TS files I created. The screen is AR301000

I am creating a Service Order Profitability report that allows the user to enter the billing customer ( We used parent/child so I want to be able to pull based on the parent which is the billing customer) and a date range and it shows description, Invoiced amount and Cost amount. On the service order side when I do inspect element on the totals tab on the service order and hover over the cost total it says the data field is CuryEffectiveCostTotal. By when I add that to my report it’s coming up as blank for every line item.   I am definitely missing something. It jusr doesn’t want to pull that one field in.

I’ve looked around and just cannot locate an article on this.  Can someone point me in the right direction for best practice on loading (migrating) unreleased AR retention? Thanks

Hello all,We have a deeply customized Opportunity screen with a custom Dialog that is opened from the action bar on the Pricing tab. We would like to add a button for this custom dialog on the primary toolbar… is it possible to do this with a Low Code solution? Please see screenshot, thank you!

Hi there,I have created a custom report to show the Receipt ref number. The report is working as expected. The last bit I am trying to figure out now is to filter the source to only show Source equals IN=Report.GetFieldSchema('INRegister.RefNbr,DocType')I am not quite how I can achieve this. I saw some blogs and tried to do it but this didn't work.I also am failing to understand how the getfieldschema works.Any help would be appreciated.

I have a scenario where We are creating Template Items and then generating the Matrix Items. We have thousands of template items like this so will be creating many more thousands of matrix items. The issue I have is that we are able to, via import scenario, set the Column Attribute ID and Row Attribute ID on the Configuration Tab. These values then carry over to the Item Creation Tab. However, in the Item Class we have a 3rd Variant Attribute we want to use which we want to set the value to via import scenario and then trigger the Create Matrix Items button. Via Import Scenario how do I target and set a value to these additional Variant Attribute fields.  I can’t find anyway to do it via Import Scenario when the Screen Name is set to Template Item

what would be the best method to identify the last time a customer places an order ?

I know it’s possible to default the ship-to warehouse based on the vendor location selected on the PO, but is it possible to default the vendor location based on the demand plan warehouse from the Create Purchase Orders screen? For Example. We have a manufacturing facilities in multiple different states. When creating purchase order to replenish “WHITE PAINT” stock at the South Carolina facility, the system should default to using the South Carolina location for the paint vendor.

While is Stock Item - Inventory Allocations Table I can double click on whatever is on the Reference Nbr. field and the order will be displayed in a new window, but another user gets this:Where can I find this setting?

How would I go about creating a widget on Shipping Clerks dashboard that identifies if a Shipment Confirmation has NOT been printed.  I would also like to prevent shipment from being confirmed until the shipment confirmation has printed.  What would be the best way to accomplish this.

I have received a check from a customer and there are a couple of back charges listed on the check stub that need to be applied to make the payment amount show correctly.   I have attempted to do a credit adjustment but that does not balance the transaction.  I was told to process the credit adjustment against an open invoice but that does not help me out either when I need to apply that amount back into the payment somehow.   What am I missing here?
