The AP Bill is generating a warning stating that some bill lines differ from the corresponding lines of the related Purchase Order. We have verified that the PO, Purchase Receipt, and AP Bill values are consistent, including the quantity, UOM, unit cost, amount, and PO line linkage. However, the detailed warning for the related PO line shows an Unbilled Quantity of 0.00 KG and an Unbilled Amount of 0.00 CAD, with a unit cost of 4.2000 CAD per KG. What else could be the reason for this. ?

We have a workflow in which once a Subcontract has been fullly Billed, we create an invoice in our system to release the retainage.  There is usually no progress billing on that bill, and we are looking to release all retainage for that contract. It appears that there is a way to release retainage for a single bill at a time, but if I have a scenario like this:Subcontract total value: $10000Bill 1: $5000, with $500 retainageBill 2: $2500, with $250 retainageBill 3: $2500, with $250 retainageOnce that last bill is out, we create a ‘Retainage Release’ of $1000.  Is there any way to do this efficiently in the Acumatica API, other than finding all the Bills against a subcontract and looping through, releasing against each Bill?Or can I somehow release the full $1000 against the Subcontract in a single call?

All, I have an issue/question very similar to the one below, posted a few years back: As it stands now, any sales or cs rep can view any note or email activity attached to a business account or customer. This is a good thing as reps will often fill in for others when they’re afk or on vacation etc.But we now have a particular Business Account that’s being developed by our C suite where sensitive information is being shared. We could take this off channel, so to speak, but it’s easier to track by keeping it in Acumatica. But as it stands now, any sales or cs rep could view the activities attached to the BAccount. We would like (for now) to have this limited to only our CEO, COO and CFO.Is there way to lock this down? Once the BAccount is converted to a full Customer it won’t be an issue. As it stands now we would like to have some sort of role-based viewing but I don’t think it would be possible without heavy customization. Thanks!

Hello, We’re evaluating our end of month financials and noticed that labor hours booked without pieces/yield the burden isn’t booked. We’re using variable by labor hours overheard type. We’ve looked over the existing documentation and are still unsure what overhead would be appropriate for booking the burdened rate with labor hours and no pieces.

We recently upgraded to 2025 R2, and I attempted to export data to Excel. Although the system indicates that the operation completed successfully, the downloaded file does not appear on the screen. I also checked my Downloads folder, but the file is not there.

Dear All,  How to display two currencies in a single report, such as the BS (Balance Sheet) and PL (Profit & Loss)? How to set up a Chart of account so that it can accommodate all currencies? and how to configure it if a specific currency is required for the Chart of account linked to a cash account?

Hi all! I’m new to Acumatica; we just converted on 12/1 from Quickbooks.  How can I show an invoice marked as paid for my customers?  They ask for a paid invoice all the time for their records.  We sell high end products that many people need this for insurance purposes. Sometimes a customer will make a partial payment.  Example, a customer has an invoice for $100,000 worth of goods for which he paid $80,000.  I need the invoice to show: Total:  $100,000Amount Paid: $80,000Balance Due: $20,000 Or if it’s paid in full, it would be marked as such and balance due would be zero.  How can I do this?

We need to be able to generate time cards for all hourly employees for the year and have them in the “On Hold” status, without all the manual effort. We currently use the generate time card feature in the employee setup screen and generate a year’s worth of time cards for each needed employee.  This however creates the time cards in the “RELEASED” status and we have to then go into every single one of them and manually change them back to “On Hold” so time can be added to them.  This is a HUGE waste of time and it sems like this process should be easier.

When I try to release an issue (IN302000), I get PXLockViolationException error:Question: does the tstamp in each ARTran row in the database need to match the PXCache somehow?  Which object in the cache do I need to look for?

Hello Everyone, so I want to release the Translation Worksheet and there is an error“Inserting 'GL Transaction' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. The currency assigned to the denominated GL account (112001) is different from the transaction currency”. I know the error because I set the currency on Chart of Account (COA) because the COA was uses to set up Cash Account. The Chart of Accounts (COA) entry we configured for the Cash Account requires a currency setting; is there a way to set up a cash account without specifying a currency? So we can remove the currency in the COA?Please help me to solve this, I have been explored and try to create use AMR for the reporting, but it doesn’t work because when entering the formula, I can't directly pull the rate from Currencies Rate. Our Base Currency is IDR and we want to Conversion to USD.If you guys have any suggestion or advice, that would be very useful, I really appreciate you kindness. Thank you.

Good,The issue is that when you create a quote with the same item number, say three times with different costs and then create the project the items are aggregated on one line.  (Operations has set a reduction protocol that reduces the the rate based on the amount of tools runs; 1st run at full price, 2nd run at half off, etc.)  I know I can make additional items numbers based on the protocol or make a discount code based on the rate.  We have over 10 different types of tools. The quote is provided to the customer based on the number runs.  This might change when the project begins either adding of deleting some. Questions,  How do I make the conversion to quote keep all the duplicate items on separate lines?  I don’t want them to aggregate.  Is this a billing rule?  Or Allocation update.  I am sort at a loss who to make Project Quote to Project conversion keep the lines separate without aggregating them.Thank you for your assistance.Evan

I'd like to know why I'm getting this error, since I've only run the following commands:*npm run getmodules*npm run build-devand when I tried to compile my screen with the following command:npm run build-dev --- --env customFolder=development screenIds=AR303020, it showed an error in the tsconfig.json file. Can you guide me on how to fix this? Thanks in advance. This is my version of ts

Has anyone had any success in updating product availability to Amazon for multi locations? For example we have an East and West coast warehouse. We have Amazon setup with these two locations and specific shipping templates. However we have been unsuccessful in updating inventory in Amazon from Acumatica to account what is in each location accordingly. Amazon telling us this can be done, but no one seeks to know how in Acumatica

Is it possible to override the default WIP account in a production order when using a labor transaction? I need to hit a COGS for shop labor GL and not a manufactured products/material GL account. Reason being, the GL account for labor is in the account group for a labor line in the project cost budget. The default WIP is linked to the the materials line item in the cost budget. So I am having to post an extra project transaction that reclasses from materials line to labor. I would like to avoid this if possible. If there is a better way to get hours/dollars into production orders and accomplish the same, I’m open to that as well. I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard and I’m fighting the system.

The fiscal year starts in June, set up correctly in the Master Financial Calendar. But @YearStart in GI/dashboard filters still resolves to 01/01, not the fiscal year start  it seems tied to calendar year, not the Master Financial Calendar.@PeriodStart/@QuarterStart seem to respect the fiscal calendar fine  just no fiscal-year equivalent. Is there a supported macro for this, or is filtering on GLTran.FinPeriodID (e.g. Period 01 of current FY) the recommended workaround?

Hi AllI’m setting up Employee Timecars & I want users to Enter their AL (Annual Leave)However I don’t want the AL Earning Type to be associated with a Labor Item. Hence I’m runing into this error. Is there a way around this.

Currently when you upload the revenue items in a project, cost codes are not available to be imported.  Would be nice to extend this. Has anyone found a workaround, or created a customization?  We typically have 100 plus task on each project, would be nice to upload with all the other information. Thanks,Jeremy

Hey all,Having an issue relating to the Roles of Relations attached to records. I have a customization that adds the custom set we’d like to use, but am unable to remove the default set, even when setting them as inactive in the customization project. I thought it might be due to some superseding project, so I looked and did find a single one above it, but even inactivating one option there and publishing did not remove any options. I was trying to stick to the low/no code options for simplicity since there explicitly is an option, but no dice. Any options to try?The only other thread I saw with the same issue was just due to not publishing, but these definitely have been. Published customization options: Result:

Hi, in AR Clerk default dashboard, there is a DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Its purpose is to understand how long it takes in average for customers pay their outstanding. On the other side, there is a default AP Clerk dashboard but I can’t find its equivalent which should be the DPO (Days Payables Outstanding). I understand AR Clerk displays something actionable, but it would be good to maintain good vendor relationship as well by understanding how long in average does it take to pay the suppliers. Has anyone built a GI for this? I am unable to find the equivalent/appropriate tables for this. Thank you in advance!

We are using Acumatica 2025 R2 and the contract-based REST API.We created a custom endpoint exposing:Shipment → ShipmentDetail → AllocationsWe need to split one component of a non-stock kit across two warehouse locations while keeping everything on one shipment line.Example:Shipment line: KIT-001, Shipped Qty. 2 COMPONENT-A requirement: 4 units at BIN-A COMPONENT-B requirement: 2 units at BIN-BDesired result:COMPONENT-A: 2 units at BIN-A and 2 units at BIN-C COMPONENT-B: 2 units at BIN-B, either as one allocation or two allocations of 1 each Kit shipment line remains at Shipped Qty. 2The equivalent operation works manually on the Shipments screen.Non-kit control testUsing the custom endpoint, we successfully split a regular stock-item shipment line by:Reducing the existing allocation quantity. Inserting a second allocation. Updating the newly assigned SplitLineNbr to the desired location in a second PUT.The request uses:PUT /entity/WMS/24.200.001/Shipment?$expand=ShipmentDetail/Allocat

The PO receipt screen used to show the $ of the receipt so our purchaser could verify both $ and qty.  Now only the qty is there.  Why was the $ removed and can it be included again?

Hi, I created a GI to show approval maps (XML attached). How do I set the sorting of Steps and Rules in ascending? Note that sorting of Rule description to ‘ascending’ won’t work. Also, how do I show the Entity and Field name from schema instead of DAC name?Approval Maps Steps and RulesShowing DAC name instead of SchemaSchema name

Hello,We recently encountered an issue where production order variances are being attributed to the incorrect branch. Our current set up is a two tenant, two branch instance. Our production orders for both sites are manually closed by a site admin, who has a profile at one branch but not both. In this case, the work order variances are being attributed to the branch the site admin’s profile belongs to. I’ve checked the warehouse profile and there are no GL accounts populated at all throughout the list. I guess the question is, will the user’s profile who is manually closing the orders play a role in determining what branch the variances are posted to? Especially if the warehouse profile GL accounts aren’t set up.

Wrapping up Chart-of-Accounts design on a 2026 R1 build (clean-slate migration off a legacy ERP whose chart had grown past 400 accounts) and would like outside eyes on the overall shape before we lock the sub-account segment layout — that part is effectively set-once (segments can be appended later but not removed, reordered, or shortened). Company profile: single CAD legal entity, USD as a meaningful secondary transaction currency, ~15–20 ERP users, business mix of distribution + light assembly + full manufacturing across roughly 7–8 product families. Chart: 55 GL accounts total (roughly 14 Asset / 9 Liability / 4 Equity / 2 Revenue / 10 COGS / 8 Operating Expense / 7 Other Income-Expense / 1 Income Tax). Design philosophy throughout: push repeatable detail into a sub-account dimension or the relevant sub-ledger module rather than adding GL accounts — e.g. Fixed Asset CCA classes live in the FA module per-asset rather than as separate GL lines; product-family detail on COGS/Revenue li

Hi All, we have an old setup of 20231R1 which is highly customised with lots of GI’s, business events  and APIs and due to our heavy usage we have a lot of performance issues and bugs.  Recently we have decided with the help from MYOB Support to upgrade in the coming months straight from 2023R1 to 2026R1 sequentially.  My concern here is, how can I make sure each of our customisation will work and not break.  Or has anyone done this and face any major dramas between the  version which they then had to change their customisation?  One thing I have already pickup is the API authentication protocol between the two version is big reduced as 2026R1 does not support URL encoded anymore.
