Dear All,

  1. How to display two currencies in a single report, such as the BS (Balance Sheet) and PL (Profit & Loss)?
  2. How to set up a Chart of account so that it can accommodate all currencies? and how to configure it if a specific currency is required for the Chart of account linked to a cash account?

Hi @lutfi15

As for the base cury vs doc cury, in almost all transactional screens anywhere you see Cury or Curr in the field names, they represnt document currency and the currency field without these abbreviation is your company’s base currency. in financial statements desiner, you can add two culmns (or more columns if want comparative figues) and use the names without Curr and with Curr for currencies.

as for the chart of accounts the only accounts require denomination is Cash account. All other accounts do not require currency assignment in CoA.

Hello,

In addition to @raghaei97 ‘s response, Accounts with no Currency linked to the Chart of Accounts can be used in documents of any currency that is configured in Currency module with a current exchange rate.

As mentioned, only Cash Accounts with Currency linked in the Chart of accounts are limited to the specified currency: must match the denomination of your cash account at your bank.
