We work in French often and some French words have accented letters. For French words with accents, we cannot use any search fields without putting the accent on the letter in our search, or else it won't work. For example, if we only type the letter "e" with no accents the search field only picks up "e's" with no accents but it would be beneficial for the search function to pick up all "e's", accent or no accent.

We would like to see the user profile enhanced to default values for the scan move process.  Currently at a minimum it requires three scans to enter any move transaction.  At one of our customer sites they only have one operation step so having to enter this information each time is a waste of time and has made the adoption rate of the application slow.  If we could default the values for order type, operation number, and location based on the user profile that would save three steps.  If you made this a preference to use default values from the user profile then this could be deployed in a number of cases.  It would be very useful if all the possible default fields that are required by a hand held had the capabilities to default based on a user profile.

When I add a Barcode or Global record to the CROSS-REFERENCE tab on the Stock Items (IN202500) screen like this: I can then enter an entire Barcode or Global value in the Inventory ID field on the Purchase Receipts (PO302000) screen. When tabbing out of the Inventory ID field, Acumatica correctly finds the Item and converts the value to the Inventory ID value in Acumatica. However, when entering an entire Barcode or Global value in the Inventory ID field on the Issues (IN302000) screen, Acumatica is not as “smart” in that it doesn’t find the Item. It would be really nice to have this working on the Issues (IN302000) screen so it can be used for issuing materials to Projects.Are there any plans to get this working on the Issues (IN302000) screen?

In the Invoices screen, I have a new customized field on the Header section and also added a new button on the Document Details tab above the grid.Based on the Customized field condition we need to enable and disable the button. I have added this button as a toolbar button in .aspx page and also added enable/disable conditions in ARInvoices row selected event but it is NOT working as expected. Can you please provide your thoughts on this?Please find the screenshot for reference.

Hello Everyone, I have 10 or so warehouses, 3 of them have multiple warehouse locations but the other 7 do not.Would it be possible to have the location table (on the warehouses form) ONLY appear on those warehouses that actually have multiple locations?  Thank you

Hello,      I know a little about customization projects but I am still afraid of writing code. I have a requirement that to display customer credit limit and customer balance on SO screen (SO301000) .         For customer credit limit, the SO screen already have “cusotmer” Data view, and that view has customer credit limit, so I can simply use it.         However customer balance exists in “customerbalance”  view, and this view does NOT associate with SO screen right now. SO I can not use it directly.       I know probably with code writing that as BQL or something, I can get the customer balance.But I am wondering is there a better/easier way I can achieve this requirement.      Thank you in advance. If I have to use code, can somebody give me a sample for reference?

Hi Sir Currently , we would like to create a report/statement from existing inquiry. May i know how to create this kind report. the content will be frmo existing inquiry , we just have a type of report format instead of excel format. 

Would it be possible to show a report in a wiki article? In essence I am trying to create a wiki reference area with some financial reports displayed. Currently I am only able to show a link to a report page. 

Hi:There was a focus group on selecting/checking off bills in a vendor payment. The check off proposed feature was very interesting. However I could not find that feature in 2019R2 and 2020R1. Any idea how to bypass the login screen and auto-login using user id and pwd to Acumatica URL and access the page so thereby a user doesn’t need to fill the credentials? I assume this shld be possible as we can see help.acumatica.com working without needing to login (wondering). What’s the use of this? You can auto-login for your application/web page and allow the user to access from a valid link, this can be used for approvals, online proofing or other usage.

Hello,      I know “Date to” and “Date From” are more flexible.  But sometimes,  the data are just required in terms of “Month” range. So, to make the user just select 1 time, I am looking for a way to set a single parameter, like Month with data source “Jan, Feb, Mar,,,,” and so on.      I’ve tried the Fin Period, which, of course, currently set exactly as the Month range.         However, Fin period of My designed GIs can not be selected by user, it is a text input format, which is not convenient for user to use.                 While the some of original Screens can be selected.          So, can anyone guide me how to do it like the above?

I want to have only certain users be able to access some specific Expense Accounts that are tied to non-stock items.  We are using non-stock items but not inventory.    I have enabled Row-level security and created my restriction group and have also created the restriction group by GL Account and that is working and only the users that have access can see those GL accounts.  When I go to the non-stock item, and click Actions | View Restrictions Group, I receive an error "The requested resources is not available.  The required configuration data is not entered on the IN Setup form."  If I enabled Inventory, I now see the option.  Does inventory  have to enabled to use the Restriction Group feature for non-stock items?  If so, what is the minimal setup of inventory that has to be done and is that going to affect anything else in Acumatica if I’m not using inventory?

We want employees to receive an email notification when an appointment has been assigned to them. If it simplifies things, I believe we can send all such emails to the same fixed email address, and then have MS Exchange/Outlook forward the messages to the correct employee. I’ve set up a Business Event to send an email when the appointment record changes, but it never sends the email, not even to a hard-coded fixed email address. Similar functionality seems to work okay when the Appointments screen header info changes, but the Staff is assigned on a tab on the page. Is the problem the fact that it’s a tab? Please help!

Is there an easy way to keep track of value that you owe a vendor if they are a customer too? The end result would be to see how much they have bought from you so you aren’t over paying there AP Bill.

I have configured properly with my Gmail account details in the System Emails Accounts screen and it is NOT working . The same details I have configured in other instance of same version observed it is working fine.Also verified by unpublishing the package still NOT working getting the same error. Please find the screenshots for reference. Can you please provide your thoughts on this?  

I have 2 tenants in our Acumatica install (single server). Test and Live. On our Test tenant I was able to get a System Email account added, setup and working perfect. However on our Live tenant, after mirroring the settings exactly like the account on the Test tenant, after clicking the [TEST] button, it just spins, and the Elapsed Time just keeps counting.I've triple checked the system email account settings, everything matches.Some notes:The spinner "Press to abort", does nothing.System Management -> System Monitor does show the running process. However the ABORT button does nothing. I would like create a monthly P&L that uses the Actuals ledger for Start Period through End Period and then uses Budget ledger for “End Period +1” through Period 12.Currently I update the data source in the appropriate column each month within the column set.  I would like to find a way to dynamically select the correct ledger based on End Period.Something like the following for the column representing the Period 7 . . .=IIf(Left(@EndPeriod,2)>=7, ‘Actuals Ledger’, ‘Budget Ledger”) 

Hi,I have multiple trending P&L Reports that I’ve created where you lose the first column (GL account titles) as you scroll to the right. Similarly, as you scroll down through the reports, you lose the column headers telling you what period you’re looking at. Does anyone know of a way to freeze columns/rows? Thanks
