Hi Drimit send me an image ask me to use special field on generic inquiry as my caption on generic inquiry is not getting translated. Please anyone can help how to use or enable this special field on caption in result grid as I am not able to understand the above steps mentioned in image. I have looked in entry point and in whole generic inquiry, I didn’t find such option.?Please help me here.Thanks.​​​​​​

hello all,I have a report - Column set - has various columns for different months. The month names/dates/periods are not fixed. The report displays the values based on the user selection for the Start Financial Period. So now I am looking to display the month names in the report.The columns that i have in the report are: @StartPeriod,-12, @StartPeriod,-11….@StartPeriod,-1.Where -12, -11, -1 can be any month (jan or july or nov etc.) So if my Start Financial Period = 04-2024 then the value for @StartPeriod,-12 would be = 03-2023 and similarly I am looking to display the month name for this.How to do that?

Hi, Looking for a solution to the following. We have a stock item that has multiple components, each which has it’s own barcode. We want to be able to store the items in separate bin locations and sell them together.  The closest I found is using non-stock kits. But run into below issues:if you add a non-stock kit to a purchase order, the purchase receipt doesn’t show the component parts purchase receipt also doesn’t appear to allocate any costs at all to the products can’t track quantity of non-stock kits when a non-stock kit is on a sales order, the availability of the components still shows available until a shipment is made. Thanks in advance for any ideas!Mitchell

Hi all, I’m creating something in Report Designer and I need to turn on the visibility of a text field based on Inventory ID. I have something like this: IIf(InStr([AMProdItem.InventoryID], '-C') > 0, True, False) So that visibility expression is saying ‘if the ID contains “-C” then display the text box’The issue is that the -C we want to check for is at the end of the InventoryID -- but we will many time have a multi-hyphenated Inventory ID where “-C” exists in the middle of the ID. We don’t want to check for -C > 0, we want to only check for -C at the end of the string.How do I do this? I’m assuming I have to use some sort of Index but unsure how to do it. Thank you!

Our vendors want to know our inventory quantity on hand. I do not think that will be an issue for our inventory stock items. Where I see it being a possible issue is we have a lot of non-stock items. Many of our non-stock items are kits so our vendors will want to know the quantity on hand of those non-stock kits. Acumatica is capable of telling us how many kits it can make of a particular non-stock item (see example attached), but what I want to know is when our EDI is connected, will it be reading the stock items as well as the non-stock items they order from us?  The document for EDI is an 846 inventory advice.Is there a report in Acumatica that I can run that shows me quantity on hand for stock items as well as non stock?

Here’s the scenario: We sell item A (stock item) and upgrades associated with item A (non-stock item we will call item B). We have a pricing tool that provides a suggested price (we call this MSRP) - on the Sales Order we have created a UDF that our team enters the MSRP. We are looking to measure our Sales team performance by calculating the % difference between the unit price on item A and item B against MSRP. Trying to work on getting our inventory into location specific standards.  And during that process, also looking to see what location has the oldest inventory.  Not having a lot of luck on the GI front so far.  I can get my locations and qty on hand populated, but trying to pin down when the inventory moved into that location is problematic. Has anyone implemented this approach in Core Acumatica functionality?

We want to be able to track common inventory items that maybe used at multiple work stations in our assembly department.  Some of our production uses common BOMs because the same option is shared a crossed different units that are built on different assembly lines.  An example is the same meter package is used on Unit X and Unit Y.  But is consumed on Line 1 station 2, and Line 3 station 2 respectively.  How can we track inventory at each different station without the need for separate BOMs?  Is there a way to set stocking quantities by location & part?

First, I followed the instructions in the this link to create a Business Event, triggered by schedule, to close a Case if the Last Activity Date is greater than 30 days from current date (@Today).Business Events in AcumaticaHowever, the scheduler is NOT kicking off the event at all.  It never seems to execute. Attached are the exported files I created.  Does someone have any idea what I am doing wrong that this is not working?TIA, 

Has anyone ever performed or set up different invoice templates for different clients/customers in field services? Curious as to where to set that up. TIA. 

We recently created an automated export scenario to do a daily export of our customer balance that we want to use a SFTP to connect to our other ERP system. We initially had some success in testing the synchronization but now that ready to go live, been running into following error message which struggling to resolve. I have a feeling that an issue might be something embarrassing, but have had no luck resolving it.   

Hello Community,I have a graph that I need to create that will show 6 or so months at a time of inventory value.  I attempted to create a GI similar to the Historical Inventory Valuation and it is not working how I had hoped.  My GI seems to be working for the most part, but the ending balances do not match those on that report writer form.  Which has a few formulas mixed with different aliases to create the ending balance.  Any suggestions of a report that I could use to create this graph with?  Thank you,Trisha

Is there any solution/possibility of files/documents uploaded into Acumatica (e.g. attaching PDF of an invoice to an invoice entry in Acumatica) can also be viewed in an external read/write file sharing and storage environment?

Good morning all, I recently did a local installation for Acumatica (version 2022.205.103.4522) and all the functionality is working fine, however when I tried to publish a customisation package, it fails with the following:  When I opened it in Visual Studio (2022 and 2019) I get this error:..\..\licenses.licx: Could not transform licenses file into a binary resource.  Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size of the argument list.    As anyone else experienced this, or found a solution around this?Thanks

Hi All,How can I remove the repeating sub-headings on this report when I export it to excel, please? The report is “Historical Inventory Balance” 

We have experienced a situation which created a huge issue for our Acumatica production data:A lot of import scenarios (128), but not all,  were triggered to run at an unexpected time. Most of these import scenarios were not set up to be run by the scheduler. We only had 6 import scenarios that were scheduled to run regularly.There was randomness in terms of how many import scenarios were run (we do not understand why some scenarios ran and others did not run), and also randomness in terms of when the import scenarios ran (no scheduler ran at that particular time).After investigation by Support it was determined that one faulty scheduler, which did not  have a condition, (pic 2) created this situation.The faulty scheduler was created by using the regular way (pic 1) of creating the scheduler from an import scenario. When creating an Employee Time Card, it needs to be approved by the Group Project Admin Level 2: After Level 1 is approved, Group DM will be approved as Level 2 Level 3: After Level 2 is approved, Group Management will be approved as Level 3 Company Tree Setup With the current setup, I got issues as explained:If Approver Level 2 belongs to only Group DM, they can't open the Time Card If Approver Level 2 belongs to Group DM and Group Project, they can open the Time Card. However, they can approve a Time Card with the skip on Level 1This is quite similar to creating a multistage approval with instructions on  Acumatica.
