I hope I stated my issue correctly above.  We are trying to figure out how to properly enter taxes on an invoice where we have partially invoiced but sales tax would not be applied until shipment has been made and the final invoice issued.  This is fairly common for us as we don’t always know the location of shipment prior to those final invoices (we are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer and our equipment will be sent to multiple locations in an oil field(s) ).  We are trying to figure out how to get the full amount of tax properly reflected on that final invoice.

Hello! A client just upgraded to 21 R1 from 20 R1, and it seems there is a slight process change that I’m looking for insight on how best to handle in the new version.Previously the client would Prepare Invoice and then on the Process Invoices and Memos screen, they would click Create and Capture, then Email Invoice, then Release. In this new version,  the invoice does not show on the create and capture process list because it’s pending email first and not in balanced status. They like to create and capture prior to emailing because their form marks the invoice as paid. Also, they do not want to release prior to emailing the invoice and have the setting specified to not allow release until email.So, they are now stuck with how best to work through the steps in this new version. Anyone have any thoughts on how to handle?

Is it possible to use a contains filter in an ARMS report Profit and Loss like you can use with a GI? My client heavily uses sub-accounts and they want to be able to use "contains" filters with sub-accounts. For example, they want to be able to filter for the second segment in the subacount. So if they filter for '10' they would see the selected rows as you can see: 

Our users (but not administrators) are experiencing the following.They run the profit and loss statement (we have various formats but this problem occurs in all, also standard Acumatica P&L report) They try to drill down on a figure They all get the same error - Error:  You have insufficient rights to access the object (CS600000).The screen that the error is referencing is not related to financials at all, it is a configuration screen.  Any ideas what access is required for this drill down to work?Edited to add - my apologies, the screen that it is trying to reference is this one: However this is not in the Finance Workspace of Access Rights by Screen.  How do I find it?

When creating a Return for Credit and adding a line item from an Invoice.  If the original UOM is a Case and it will convert to Each and then it will multiply the discount by the Quantity.  Which is incorrect and your Credit Memo will be much higher.Example1 case of 6 units - total discount is 2.55 and total case is 48.45Credit Memo for the 1 case of 6 units, it converts to Each (base uom) 6 units but it does not divide the discount instead it multiply the discount of 2.55 * 6 = 15.30InvoiceCredit Memo Please fix this bug ASAP, impacting the credit memo process.The original way is to just keep the some UOM when creating Credit Memo.

Hi, can we set up a Consolidation Parent Company with a financial Calendar that differs from the one used by the Consolidation Units?We have a client whose fiscal year begins from January, but for reporting purposes, they would like to setup a Parent consolidation Company ( preferably within the Same tenant) to use a financial calendar begins from the month October(they have “Multiple Calendar Support” feature enabled).So when we run the consolidation Import, the period 01-2025 (January 2025) data from the Consolidation units should get imported into the period 04-2025 (January 2025) in the Parent Consolidation Company.Thanks

Using the Trial Balance by Summary and Detail Report Filtering logic I think I figured out why it would not return values but wanted to confirm with community.Acumatica 24R1 Build 24.104.0008Single Tenant, Multiple Company, same ledger for Actual. 1 company has multiple branches and the other company is a no branch setup.I cleared the Company/Branch field on Report Parameter Tab ( “Blank”).  On “Additional Sort/Filter” Tab I selected the “Property” branch.branch ID field with “Condition” EQUALS, and selected branch from List of branchs in the “Value” field. I noticed by selected the “Value” it inserts the word branch which is invalid for branch id name. I had to just manually type in “Value” field the branch id.  Also tried to use the 2nd value field to include an additional Branch ID. The 2nd value field does not appear to work and display 2nd branch TB info even if manually typed. If I only used the “Value” field, manua

I have a negative quantity available and am trying to figure out what is causing it.  I went through the history of the inventory transactions and everything seems to be ok.  I have an FS Booked quantity of 1 in the inventory allocation and wondering if this could be the reason? 

Hi,I have a requirement to default the tax category based on the entry type selected. Currently following options are available. My tax setup includes multiple tax categories under one tax zone. System picks the default tax category for the tax zone attached to the entry type.Use can manually change it. we can use a non-stock item to default the tax category. Use has to select the tax category and also the  entry type in the cash transaction. Is there any way that I can set the tax category to pick automatically connected to an entry type?Thank you,Dulanjana

Hi, I have a requirement to record expenses for a customer contract. I see in AR invoices, there is a field to enter the contract for revenue, but in AP Bills I cant find the contract ID. Is there anyway that we can enable entering contract ID in AP bills or any other transactions similar to entering the project ID?Thank you,Dulanjana

Hi,Is there a way for me to set us fixed asset approval flow in the system? Currently there is no approval in that I can assign approval map in Fixed Asset Preferences. If I would like to set up approval map in General Ledger for Fixed Asset Depreciation, is there a way to set up in the system? Or it can only be done through customization? Thank you. Regards,Chern 

For some time now the bills and adjustments screen is taking a long time to load. It takes around 8 - 10 seconds. We have 31k records on there. What can we do to improve this load time?

We have 4 budgets each year.  Original, F1, F2 and F3.  For example, in April we create a F1 budget  to enter actual results for Jan - Mar, and then adjust April - December for current forecasting. The problem is we have to open all the closed Financial Periods to get the revised budget amounts to import.    Is there a work-around?   

We are being tasked to create a Purchase Order for Landed Costs.  The customer has to call in subcontractor to use a crane.  They would like to able to track those costs to the items them are pulling off the truck and would like to make sure that the subcontractor is following the PO

Hello! Does anyone know what is causing this error while trying to release an invoice? The system only has one currency set up which is USD; all chart of accounts has USD listed as currency; the ACTUAL ledger also has USD listed as currency. Am I missing anywhere to check for this?
