We are new to Acumatica and trying to wrap our heads around how branches and subaccounts work. Our use case is this:One company, one warehouse with inventory. We sell B2B, B2C - Shopify, B2C - Amazon. We would like the ability to run a P&L based on sales channel and by product line. For example: P&L for B2B channel for product line X. From what I understand, only one subaccount can be used per line so we would have to choose whether we want to classify the line as a channel or a product line. I think if we create combined subaccounts, where channel and product line are combined, it would create major difficulty in data entry, along with preventing us from running a P&L based on just product line or just channel. Would adding a branch for each sales channel make sense? Then each transaction would have a branch and then a subaccount for the product line? Again, we would only have 1 warehouse shared across the company, so I’m not sure if this method wou

I was in the process of reconciling a Credit Card and the Reference Number generated matched, for some reason, a previous reconciliation statement for a different cash account.Now the process is locked into a cash account that is not correct, it will not let me delete the report, and if I create a new one it tells me that the previous statement was not reconciled. Also, the transactions disappeared for that time frame and I have tried everything to get rid of the incorrect reference number. Please help!

Good day Community I have a client who has been calculating their depreciation on a spreadsheet for years and now want to use Acumatica. Here is my challenge - in 2021 they changed the useful life of the assets from 25 to 40 years. In 2023 they increased the value of the assets. I imported the assets in the current financial year in initialization mode, including the YTD Accumulated Depreciation. Most assets have been depreciating for about 5 years, 2 years @ 25 years and 3 @ 40 years. I am really struggling to assign them useful life years that would calculate at the correct rate.  If I use 40 years, it reverses a portion of the Accum. Depr so that the remaining amount is over 40 years from day 1. If I use 35 years and amend the start date to the current year, the calculation is correct by month going forward, but it amends the Accumulated Depreciation YTD that was imported.Any advice as to how I could get the system to calculate the correct amount going

Is there a way to produce statements by customer locations and also being able to send them via email based on the email field within the customer location? 

Best regardsI have currently set up the Integration between Acumatica and Salesforces. Importing the information from Salesforce to Acumatica is not a problem for me but when I want to export the information, I have in Acumatica for Salesforces I continue to get the following error: INVALID_FIELD: There is no such column 'Acumatica_NoteID__c' in the Account object in Salesforces that column is already configured, any idea of what it can be?? 

I am on 2024 R 1. I am trying to correct invoices that were created with he incorrect tax amounts. I have created a Credit memo but receivng error message  “ Error: 'TaxBucketID' cannot be empty.” when I try to release.  Where is this Tax Bucket ID located ? The trace only states “    

Good day I am creating a GI which will list all the lines and their columns from the relations tab for each opportunity record.The following tables have been used for the GI: CRRelations, CR Contact, CR Opportunitiy, CR Leads, BAccount, So Sales Orders. I am having difficulty showing the status of each line, as this could come form a number of tables (i.e. sales order, leads, customer, etc.) I have tried using the ‘Target Type’ from the Relations table in an IF statement, but I don’t seem to be getting the name of the type ‘name’ correct.Does anyone know how this can be achieved in possibly a simpler way?Thank you.

An account was added while creating BUDGET for 2025. That account is no longer visible under FINANCE/BUDGET but it is visible on P&L Budget. That specific account needs to be updated and cannot be located. I was looking in every subaccount, in case it was posted in the wrong place and nothing. That account has not been added to Budget configuration prior to entering it to the budget. However, it is showing under different branch budget P&L and BUDGET. I added this account to Budget configuration, but it is still not visible, nowhere to be found. I am getting an error of duplicate account/subaccount if I want to add it again. 

We currently have one company setup without using branches, The subaccount segment string is AAA-BBB where AAA is the Department and BBB is the Product.  We want to add the physical location by either creating branches or a third segment in the subaccount segment string ie CCC is the Location.  Is there any benefit to creating Branches (say for data entry, reporting, complexity of system administration) to capture this information compared with changing the subaccount string to include a third segment ?

Hi, I have been facing issues where employee working time against project is not updating correctly under Cost Budget tab. Few checks done -GL Accural Account under Project and Expense Accural Account for Non Stock Item are same. It belongs to Labour Account groupUOM is displayed same for Project transactions and on Cost Budget line.When employee enters hours for project, Actual qty is not updated. It still displays 0Recalculate Project balances does not affect.  Please help.

as the picture shows here, I am doing the P/L for Jan 2025, it has a column Quarter to date, I assume for Jan, QTD=YTD=Jan, however Acumatica pulling the P/L of Nov and Dec 2024 and Jan 2025 as QTD for Jan 2025, data source “actual - 2”. Anyway how to make QTD=Jan 2025? Thanks!

Driving myself bonkers.  We are using 24R1 and trying to get sales taxes set up.  Here is the setup:Tax ID: NYSTATETAX = 8.875%, NYNOTAX = 0%Categories: Taxable, ExemptTax Zone: NYTAXABLE linked to NYSTATETAX and TaxableTax Zone: NYNONTAX linked to NYNOTAX and Taxable and Exempt All inventory items are set to taxable. When I create a sales document for a customer with the NYTAXABLE tax zone and a Taxable item ($99.60) and an Exempt item ($25), the correct taxes are calculated, but the tax breakdown is incorrect - the NYNOTAX tax id is missing.When I create a sales document for a customer with the NYEXEMPT tax zone and a Taxable item and an Exempt item, no taxes are calculated and the tax breakdown on the taxes page is correct.

I don't know which function we use and how to use it. Please kindly share any guideline and advise me. Thanks so much for helping and supporting.

Hi Everyone!!!In convert purchase to asset, I allocated a purchase to the wrong fixed asset. How can I reverse the one single transaction in order for the purchase to reappear in the convert purchase to fixed asset, to go back and allocate it to the correct fixed asset?

i am trying to divide 1 the result 1 column using 2 formula for 2 row of different values and this is column  column c ‘% NS’ value is =Value('0030','B')/Value('0020','B')and this is the result : How do I use a different formula =Value('0030','B') / Value('0030','B') * 100  for the '% NS' column I highlighted in green? Thank you.

I’m stuck in this insane situation:I had a released budget line with the total amount originally $3,213.86 that was only allocated in Period 1. I then went to upload some adjustments to multiple line items, but I had a typo in the subaccount for this particular line item in my upload. So I deleted the error line, and I manually adjusted the amount and the period amounts. The Distributed Amount is still picking up my original amount in Period 1 and I cannot save without adding that amount to Period 1 to get the Amount and Distributed Amount to balance. I’ve tried deleting the line and starting over, but I cannot delete without zeroing out the periods, and I can’t zero out the periods because the Amount and Distributed Amount do not match.Screenshot below of my released budget line item that clearly is not really balanced and screenshot of what period 1 should be but is not in balance. Please someone help!

The reconciliation is balanced and ready to complete but the Release option is disabled.  There are closed reconciliation statements for this cash account dating back to 2023 and this is the first time we have encountered this problem.  Any thoughts on how to move forward?

Hello,In sales orders I change the quantity, but the discount amount field remains $10 instead of changing value due to the appropriate sales order count, in this case it must be $100. In below screenshot you can see that the discount for total amount remains the same.The percentage-based discount works correctly, but the fixed amount discount is only applied to 1 unit. When the sales order quantity changes, the total discount amount does not update accordingly.Do you have any solutions about it? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Good afternoon,Our company currently has it set up for all sales orders entered to go on an initial “On hold” status...but once thats removed, it moves over to “awaiting payment” status for payment collection.Is it necessary to have both of these set up or does it seem redundant?We have the parameters already set up for credit holds and everything as well...so orders wouldnt move past “awaiting payment” unless manually altered.

Good morning allI'm sure this is a simple question but currently I can't for the life of me think of what I should do.  I have 2 invoices that have been paid via BPay - so the payment has gone through as one.  It isn't letting me match the two invoices with the payment - even if I tick "Match to Multiple Payments".  Any help on this very wet and windy (Cyclone is coming) Friday morning. 

Good day,I have multi branch/company environment.  I have a new Canada Company starting shortly.  Based on what I read so far is the CA Company needs a based currency of CAD and a separate ledger.  All the CA company transactions will be done in our CA Company, separate customers, vendors, etc.  Also a new cash accounts.Ledgers:  Do I need two CA Ledgers:  One for Actual and One for Reporting? Translations:  I need to be able to report in CAD and consolidate/translate into USD for consolidated reporting.My overall needs are to have CAD reports for taxes and Consolidated reports for Overall company financials by branch.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Evan

I’m not sure why (another topic for another time) but I am seeing some astronomical unit cost and extended costs in some of our production receipts. What is the best way to adjust these to get a better inventory valuation?
