Calculate Average value for a period using YTD values

Hello!

I want to generate expense analysis report from report definitions and I’m required to view YTD as well as average value for a period. 

For an example, if I’m taking YTD values for 7th period, I want to view the average value for a period (YTD expenses / 07). 

I can take the YTD values (Ending Balance) and couldn’t find a way of taking average value. Is there anyway that I can do this?
