While importing AR Payments, I am getting an error “Input sring was not in correct format”    

Hi There,I’m trying to release a AP batch payment, but system only allow to export. When I hit export, an error message came up . “CA Error: The batch cannot be exported. An export scenario is not specified for the payment method.” Could you please advice how can I release the payment in Acumatica ? Thank you.  

We have a client that issues approx 6000 checks per month for lease payments.   Most of these checks are for the same dollar amounts (ie. 3000 checks for $ 1000 and 3000 checks for $ 1500).  When the Bank Feed comes in the Bank Feed writes the Check Number to the Tran. Desc field.  Acumatica seems to ignore the Tran. Desc field and suggests matches displaying 3000 checks all for $ 1000.  Acumatica Tech Support told me that it only matches based on Amount and Transaction Date which doesn’t make sense to me since Ref. Nbr. Weight as well as Doc. Payee Weight are part of the Relevance Calculation.  What fields does Acumatica read to match  Ref. Nbr. Weight & Payee Weight ?

Hi all,Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with being able to have one “parent” customer with multiple bill to’s?  We use the locations for having multiple ship to locations but am looking to be able to link multiple Bill To’s to one customer number.

We had a recent upgrade patch done on Acumatica and now we are running into issues with our tax exempted customers being charged sales tax.Has anyone come across this or how would we go about correcting the issue?Our below method was working properly up until two weeks ago.

My purchaser entered a landed cost for a purchase receipt but selected the wrong code and the landed cost is calculating based on quantity instead of cost which drastically effects the unit cost of the goods. An adjustment has already been created in the system and released.Secondary, in order to prevent this from happening in the future, would it be better to ask the personnel not to release landed costs documents and instead have our AP release the landed cost document when creating the AP bill for the purchase receipt?

With migration mode off, we imported AP with retainage, then used journal entry to reverse the ledger impacts. However, when trying to release the retainage, it is failing due to the vendor ref. already being used on the bill. We do not want to allow duplicate vendor references, but not seeing how to release otherwise. Ideas?

For a tariff surcharge, if a customer’s own ERP or Accounting systems are unable to read or accept surcharge line items on Invoices from us, what options are there to get that reflected within the customer’s pricing? We were told “just increase my price” to reflect the surcharge.  Yes manually within the sales order the individual items’ pricing can be changed but we’re finding now there’s not just a few of these customers that we would need to do this on, there’s quite a ton who order frequently so we can’t manually do this every time with these customers.    If our surcharge was originally to be 5% of total invoice price, Is there  a way to get a discount mapping if one of these customers is selected, the price class automatically takes the item and then adds 5% of its calculated cost onto itself? Scenario: Customer orders 100 pins at $2/EA (40% off $5 per unit for a total $200) and 30 knobs at $4/EA (50% off $8per unit for Total of $120)Normal Surcharge

Can GL subaccounts differ by Tenants if the Tenants are eventually consolidated?  Customer operates international businesses and uses detailed subaccounts within US operations. Very detailed six digits with employee numbers and project numbers, and accounts for detailed tax and payroll operations in TX, FL, SC, CA, NY, PA and many other highly regulated states.Maybe 10-15% of the Subaccounts will apply to international functions; can the international tenants redefine the Subaccount segment and consolidate data to a company and tenant level without causing problems?#Consolidation

We are often creating hundreds if not thousands of invoices a day. Our AR invoices are created after a shipment is confirmed. But all of these invoices are being created with a status of “credit hold” is there a way to bypass this step of “Removing Credit Hold” so that I can just release invoices? These sales orders are coming thru with pre-payments so there is never actually a balanced owed.Thanks!

Hello all,How can I display the ending balance for a month instead of a year?So lets say if the income for March is 100$ and that of April is 50$. So if I enter the 04-2025 period in my parameter the ARM report should display only 50$ instead of the total, of 150$, that it is currently displaying.In my column set I am using the below amount type: Tried with Ending balance as the amount type but still it shows the same figure.

Hi, A client has several AP invoices that need to be reversed. Reversing a bill to create a debit adjustment record works fine and links the original document to the new debit record however when clicking apply on the debit adjustment record, the resulting payment record only shows the debit adjustment line to apply by default. Is there any way that the corresponding invoice get added as a line automatically as well via some sort of setup? Regards, Andrew

Hi everyone,I’d like to ask if Acumatica has a subaccount mechanism similar to other ERP software (as shown in the attached image from NetSuite).In this structure, users are not allowed to post transactions directly to the parent account, and reports querying the parent account will automatically sum the data from its subaccounts.Does Acumatica support this functionality, and if so, how can it be configured?Thanks in advance!

When we receive bills from our vendors wiith fees such as shipping and handling on the bill itself and we are paying our vendor (not a trucking service) for those fees. I want to be able to link those fees to the items on that bill specifically. Does that mean I have to have all my vendors selected as “Landed Cost Vendors” as well?Scenario 2 - we pay royalties on items to vendors and I want that fee to be reflected in the cost of goods for that 1 singular item (not all of the items on that PO) Example:Invoice from vendor:Item A - Qty Purchased 5 - Unit Cost $2 - Extended Cost $10Royalties Paid for Item A - $0.10 per unit - Extended Cost $0.50Item B - Qty Purchased 5 - Unit Cost $5 - Extended Cost $25Total Owed: $35.50 BUT I want the stock item to reflect that it’s last cost is actually $2.10 and not $2From my understanding if I entered the royalties as a landed cost that $0.50 would be allocated to

Hello - Looking to see if anyone has an AP Aged Period Sensitive as a Generic Inquiry?

We have a number of COD customers, this means that they have payment terms stating 0 days (nothing to do with their actual payment method).  Essentially we want to create an invoice for them (showing their details) that must be paid instantly.  However, any invoice immediately goes onto credit hold, due to their credit verification being days past due.  What is the best way to manage this, that ensures:Any invoice becomes due immediately No credit hold needs to be released when creating the invoice

Hi all,I was wondering if there’s any way to configure a tax code with Net/Gross amount entry on AR invoices and AP bills respectively. For example, I’d like the calculation rule to be inclusive line-level for output VAT, and exclusive line-level for input VAT. Is there any way to achieve that, other than creating 2 tax codes?Thanks! 

CASE:A purchase receipt #66 has been matched to an invoice #77, when I do the return for this purchase receipt, Acumatica generated a return #88 directly, Acumatica doesn’t require the matched invoice #77 to be reversed. So in the end, I returned the goods to the vendor through purchase return #88, but I can still pay the invoice #77 to vendor. This is very dangerous.Also if I don’t reverse invoice #77 and do the purchase return #88, GRNI account will not be correct, it has two debit amount, one from invoice #77 and the other from purchase return #88.Any comments or experience why Acumatica doesn’t force the matched AP invoice to be reversed before doing the associated purchase return? Thanks!   

Hey Team,AP Viewer role permission is set as Read-Only for Bill & Adjustments Screen. but the user is still able to perform PAY action on the screen. There are no Customizations on the site. One thing I noticed is the default workflow for the screen is disabling the PAY action only when the status is closed. Could this be the reason why the Permission set on Access by Rights Role is getting overridden by Workflow condition. 

Hi,We would like to know , do you use the Incoming Document feature inside AP?Do you have good results? Did you customize it?  Exemple :  I remarked that about functional point of view: If a PO line does not require a receipt (Require Receipt = false), one would logically expect to be able to link the AP invoice (Incoming Document) without enabling Allow AP Bill Before Receipt. But as we have seen, this is not the default behavior in Acumatica.Is it normal?Thanks

We have a customer that overpaid, and now we would like to move that overpayment to the Customer Deposit account on the balance sheet.  We believe we need to too this via a Journal Voucher to ensure that the customer’s account will be properly hit to move that credit from their A/R account to the deposit account.We have tried this a few ways without success.  Does anyone know which module/voucher type we should use to accomplish this so the proper transaction hits the accounts in the correct way?Patrick
