Alternatives to Avalara (that are less expensive!)?

We’ve used Avalara for quite a few years, and it works well in Acumatica, but the pricing is becoming astronomical with their year over year increases.  Wondering if anyone else has experience with less expensive options for sales tax calculation that integrates easily in Acumatica without custom integration needed.

Hello ​@fosterjeff01 - I agree that Avalara is getting audacious with their price hikes. We priced other companies about a year ago and ultimately chose to stay with Avalara. Others came in slightly lower, but Avalara had better reporting (by leaps and bounds) and the ability to edit transactions without having to void them altogether and reissue. We decided that the price difference wasn’t enough to lose the reporting and flexibility. We received proposals and demos from Vertex, OneSource, and Suretax. Good luck - I hope you find something that works for you.

    ​@fosterjeff01 I've used Acumatica's sales tax module, but not Avalara. I assume you already considered Acumatica, but I am curious what it lacked?
