I ran into an error when publishing a customization project that I haven’t seen before:  “The '<project name>' customization project contains a prohibited database script”.  The customization has published without errors and the db script in it executes fine on many different Acumatica instances except for this particular one.  The db script just drops a view if it exists, and then creates the view.  The Acumatica build is 21.115.0017.  The error shows up right away after selecting Publish.  Did I miss something in the release notes somewhere where certain db commands are no longer allowed in scripts, or could it be a licensing or permissions issue of some kind?

Should I be concerned if the update completes despite having ‘aborted’?

Hi there,Does anyone know how we can improve the Wiki search functionality? Although it does work, it's hard to understand how it works, e.g. how things are prioritised in the search results? Presumably relevance, but if I search a specific keyword string from an article we have written, it doesn't necessarily appear at the top of the search results. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, they would be much appreciated.Thanks!

Does anyone know if you can create the Customer Portal for B2B on a local instance of Acumatica?

Does anyone else have this issue when creating a support case?I seem to be missing scroll bars in the case window and can not get back to the top / header of the case.  I have this using Chrome and FireFox and clear cache does not resolveAs shown below once I filled in the detail section  I only have the cancel or submit as options and if something is missing in the attributes can not scroll up to correct I could create a word doc and attach to case as a workaround but feel I should be able to put in all my details in the details and still get back to the header    

Is there a way to search cumulative release notes for a given version of Acumatica (ie: all build release notes for 2020 R2 as an example)?  Prior to creating a support ticket, it would be nice to be able to search release notes for potential fixes in subsequent builds.  Currently it seems that I need to find each build for a version and then download, open and search through the PDF release notes.Is the known issues list the one stop shopping source for any issues fixed in a build?

Creating and Associating security rights based on a tree view can be very time consuming and very difficult to complete without undergoing many sessions. Create a Security Assignment Function where when invoked, the admin user’s environment includes a new panel to select roles based on the screen and/or field the user is present on.  See attached mockup security assignment screen 

We are a union plumbing company and allocate costs to our projects for the union benefits.  This currently gets put in thru Time & Expense for each plumber under the material tab with non-stock items we created.  It’s a fixed cost per hour.  However, we can only set the cost (in non stock items) as a percentage because otherwise it’s taking the labor rate and multiplying it by the cost of the benefits when we want it to take the cost times the hours.  Any one run into this issue and what was the fix?

We are just moving from our old system to Acumatica.  In our old system we have an email that is sent automatically a week after a shipment has been sent.We have a shipment confirmation automatic email notification going out when the status changes to shipped. Is there any way in Acumatica to trigger a subsequent email x days after that email?

Good day,Please assist. I need to create approval maps for 29 companies in one tenant. Is there a elegant way to do this. The way I do it is with if statement for every company with three levels of Approval. There are 1000 users.This will take forever. Do you maybe have a example of a approval map for multiple companies. Or other options

In the past month we have gone through a "phase 2" implementation of MYOB Advanced (Acumatica) that has seen a massive increase in the use of Attributes on Projects, Sales Orders, Business Accounts, Inventory as well as a big uptick in the number of business events, notifications (incl push notifications), GIs and reports that all reference these UDFs / attributes.  I am worried when I hear from our implementation partner that "attributes are going to be replaced by UDFs" How wise am I to continue to add attributes? (which have transformed the product to make it fit our business uniquenesses like a glove)  Is there anything you know about this @Naveen B or @Tim Rodman that could be of benefit to the wider Acumatica family to know?

Before sending an email to my final list, I like to send it out to my TEST list (which I create using my personal emails) so I can see the actual in my inbox. I did this, sent to 3 contacts (my test list), but haven't received the email yet. However, MAP says 3 emails were delivered. I'd love some help if someone has experience with this! Thanks.

Since having our system created by a 3rd party I would now like to create additional attributes within Project Task level however + option is grey. Is there something I need to do to be able to + more?

Does anybody know if you can link a file from an original document to a new document?  For example, if a file is linked to a Bill, can it automatically be passed to the Check document?Thanks -- Sandy

Hello All,      According my using experience, all documents in Acumatica after releasing can NOT be deleted anymore. Is this right?     But as I searched all help document , I did not find any words that describing this clearly?  Can anyone show me where I can find the written words. Thank you.
