Failed to Update Custom Fields by using Custom Action

I have created a few fields in BAccountExt as shown below and placed them under a custom tab in Customers screen:UsrValue1 - string UsrValue2 - string UsrValidValue - boolean (field disabled to disallow manual update) UsrValue1ValidatedDateTime The flow of this customization is when validateValue action button is pressed, it will trigger validation on UsrValue1 and UsrValue2 via API and return the status (true/false). The status will then be saved to UsrValidValue field, and the validation date time will be recorded in UsrValue1ValidatedDateTime field. Error when trying to extended workflow via code extension

I’m playing around with extending workflows. In this case I’ve added an Action to SOOrderEntry in my graph extension. I’ve created a workflow extension as well. While my code compiles, I get an error displayed on the login screen:When extending a cache, cross references are not permitted: CustomerOEMods.Workflow.SOOrderEntry_Workflow -> CustomerOEMods.Workflow.SOOrderEntry_Workflow. User defined fields in Reports

Hi All,I am planning to create a report using user-defined fields in the report parameters. My idea is that the user can select the desired fields from the report parameters and then click on "Run Report." The report will then be generated with only those selected fields and values, without including any other tables.Is this possible, or do we need to have predefined fields on the screens?Thank you.

Employee Time Activity screen - adding custom field to the grid and enabling it

We have a requirement to add a checkbox to the grid in Employee Time Activities. It needs to be enabled and editable and thus, persistable, when the activity is released.Standard SetEnabled in RowSelected does not work. Enabling the entire column in header also does not work. Overriding the original RowSelected event, where the row is disabled for released activities also does not work for some reason. Any ideas?

DLL file differs between Package file and published file

What could be the reason between a binary file in a package being different from the file that is published to the Bin folder?I had done a MD5 hash comparison and the file in the Bin folder (after publishing) differs from the file in the Package. The only fix was to download the file from the Custom Package Files grid and copy it to the Bin folder.Has anyone experienced this before? What could cause it?

Increasing length of the Pay Item CD field

Hi,I have created a Database Script to increase the length of the PayItemCD field from 10 to 20, but I can't seem to find where to do this for the on-screen field shown below.I can type as many characters as I like into the Pay Item field, but once I click into another field, it cuts it down to 10 characters.I have updated the MaxLength property of the field, but that hasn't seemed to help.Is there another way to increase the length of this field?Kind regards,Andrew Enter as many characters as I want After clicking out of the field, text is shortened to 10 characters Max Length property set to 20

Customizations on multiple servers - Load balancer?

We are hosted on Acumatica’s platform, but we have two servers. I’m assuming (for lack of information) that this is a load balancing situation. We have two urls ourname and ourname-process. We are told it shares the same database. We were told we only need to install on the main server, so we install on that server. However, randomly, when we install, it causes issue. After install:Main server functions as normal. Process server:All pages are white when loaded. It loads the menus, etc. API connections to the server break with a 500 error. We can still login to the process server.I’m attaching a screenshot and the package that broke the process server. Again, it works fine on our dev server (same version), and it works fine on our live main - just breaks the production.

PXRestrictor to select a customer belonging to a specific Customer Class

Different Versions of the Item Class 'name'

Hello,Has anyone encountered the following - If I copy the Item Class name from different places it gives me different values and I’m wondering why, and which one is the appropriate one to use if I’m trying to use the Item Class name as a FILTER for my Ecommerce Export Filter.I have a class ID defined as such:: Now...if I copy the value from different places, I get the following ‘versions’: “PURCHASED -MISC” (If I copy from the Stock Item Summary Screen)“PURCHASED_-MISC______ “ (if I copy from the Item Class)“PURCHASED MISC” (If I copy from the Stock Item General Tab of the item).why does this happen?

Event Handlers dont fire when using load records from File

Most screens with grids have an option to import from an excel file. Specifically I am talking about the SO entry screen below I have a customization where I customized and added an event handler on this screen and it fires fine when users are entering data in the grid. But when they load records form file, it doesn’t handle. Never fires the event from what I can tell. I stripped it bare to see if the code was having an issue, but even the simplist code never fires as below: protected void SOLine_RowUpdating(PXCache cache, PXRowUpdatingEventArgs e){ var row = (SOLine)e.NewRow;}But the same event fires when modifying the data in the screen. Any thoughts?

Transfer Field from GLTran to PMTran

Hello-I have a custom field that I am trying to transfer from GLTran (Journal Transaction) to PMTran (Project Transaction) when the native conditions are met to create a project transaction on release of Journal Transaction. The issue I’m running into is that that I can’t find a viable method to attach my logic to- I have tried FieldUpdated and RowPersisting on the RegisterEntryGraph to no avail- releasing the Journal Transaction does not trigger any of the events. Anybody have any suggestions on where to tie my logic to transfer this custom field from the GL to the PM? I’m thinking I might have to override the ‘Release’ of the journal entry.. which I would rather avoid if all possible because that adds more complication if the Journal Transaction was created from a separate module first.Thanks in advance!

I need to create a relationship from the APTran table to the FATran table

The way I was thinking of doing it was to insert the key field FAAccrualTran.TranID into a new field I created in FATran.usrTranid, which would serve to link this with the GLTran or APTran table. The problem is that I would have to edit two processes, one located in FA303000 and another in FA504500. These are processes I have not been able to modify to add this logic. These processes are responsible for allowing a posted AP record to create a Fixed Asset with a transaction that is saved in FATran.The requirement is: To be able to have the amount in different currencies (Fixed Assets). The problem with the requirement is: The client's configuration leaves the FATran.GLTranID fields (a field native to Acumatica) as 'NULL,' and this configuration is non-negotiable, so I have to create this link myself, and therefore, the solution I came up with was that.

PXProcessing BQL Question

Hello, I am creating a processing screen that pulls in shipment records of the receipt type and running into a small issue when creating the BQL statement to do so. You’ll notice below I am trying to join an enclosed condition with the condition to check if the shipment is of the type receipt. I’m not entirely sure what to add inbetween the commas after the “Where<SOShipment.Operation,” as I can’t simply type “R” (value stored in SQL). Custom field not getting updated

Hi. When the user inserts a line level record in the applications tab of the Invoices form I need to update one of my custom fields. I’m trying to update my custom field which is the UsrTotalCreditDue with a calculation of the values that i get from the two data views. In the code i am also printing the values to the trance.
