Action Override not firing after migrating from 2020R1 to 2021R2

I am upgrading a project from 2020R1 to 2021R2. In my SOOrderEntry extension, the Override on the actions is not firing. I know the extension is firing because other code gets hit on a breakpoint. The action I am overriding is the Create Shipment item. This is what it looks like in the 2020R1: This is what it looks like in 2021R2. The Create Shipment button is displayed in the menu bar and it is not selected from a drop down list. I am thinking this may be the reason why my override does not fire. Custom Icon Disappears while hovering over

I have managed to add an custom icon onto my workspace but however when i hover my mouse over the icon it disappears while stock icons remain while hovering over. I have attached screenshots of the issue below. How do i make custom icons remain while hovering over ? Mass Update for Customer Settings

Right now all of our current customers are defaulted to ‘Send Invoices by Email’ & ‘Send Statements by Email’. I believe it was how they imported it. I need to deselect these options for all but a handful of customers that need to be emailed their invoices. We have over 16,000 customers so going one by one isn’t really an option. Is there a way I can do a mass update to deselect these options for everyone then I can assign them to the few that needs to be emailed? Thanks in advance for your help!

Stumped on setting a warning when LineTotal (CuryLineTotal) is less than 50

I’m new to Acumatica and trying to get my head around adding what seems like a simple customisation. I've been trying to get a warning to show when the line total is less than 50 on a Sales Order. I have looked at other examples of how to raise a warning and tried various things but I’m not entirely sure what event handler it should go in as it’s not a user updatable field. I also think I should be using a different method to show the error but not sure what. Locate custom action (button) on SO line item grid

I have followed these instructions to move a custom action to the detail grid of sales order screen. It works in dev (localhost) but when I import package and publish to client production the button still shows on top toolbar. Not sure why. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68996115/add-buttons-to-grid-in-acumatica If I compare the screen editor: In dev my action shows up under: DataSource: SOOrderEntry/Other In production after importing package it shows up under: DataSource: SOOrderEntry/Toolbar/Form-Specific and is missing the properties I set and does not show up on Tab/Details/Grid: Transactions/ActionBar-Customizations node Is this a bug? 2021R1 build 21.108.0032

How to make a Customized Project field available for Reporting

We created a data field in our Project profiles for our customers’ purchase order numbers. We did this under the Customized Projects module. We have published the item, and it is being shown on the screen now. Information can be entered and saved. The problem is we cannot manipulate our Pro Forma Invoice reports to show this field, since the data field is not being listed in the choices under PMProject. Is there a step we are missing to update the data fields to make this available?

PXSelector not allowing to save Record (Section ID not found in the System).

Hi, Good Morning All. I have created a custom project and I am trying to add selector to the Section ID (section code) field. But, it is not allowing me to save changes to the database. Custom Processing Form - Not Showing Processing DIalog?

Hello, I have created a custom processing form, based largely on the info from T240. The Graph makes use of a` PXFilteredProcessing` data view. The grid in the view is dynamically populated based on user selection. Both the loading/filtering of records and processing of checked records seems to work as expected; however, for some reason the Processing Dialog is not showing. When I initiate processing by clicking the “Calcuate” button (the caption I set for my “Process” button), I merely get the little gray loading spinner (the one that appears anytime you save records, navigate, etc. in the system) NOT the actual processing dialog. I have compared my code against Acumatica’s standard processing forms and see nothing that could explain this behavior. Any guidance would be appreciated. How to change default location of the customer through API

Hello Everyone, We are creating customer and customer locations in acumatica through REST API and these APIs are working fine. But many of the customers has default location as a MAIN in acumatica and we want to change this default lcoation to other through customer or customer location API. I have extended the customer end point and added “SET AS Default” Action to the API but this is not giving the correct result. We are not able to change the default location of the customer through API. What changes are required in customer or customer location API, to make the required location as default instead of MAIN. Can anyone suggest the solution or any work around for this. Thanks in advance.

Anyway to view source code for all items in PX.Data namespace

Hello, I know the vast majority of Acumatica source code is accessible under App_Data/Code_Repository. However, it looks like only a small amount of items in the PXData namespace are available. Is there any way to view the implementations of all classes under the PXData namespace (specifically I am interested in MatchWithBranch: https://help-2021r1.acumatica.com/(W(3))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=b8c20406-7217-b865-6bf2-90658262610d))? How can I programmatically combine reports with different orientations?

Missing the add button in Files section of Customization Project Editor

I’m working on an upgrade from 2019 R1 to 2021 R1 and it appears that my Files section of the Customization Project Editor no longer has the add button. I’ll share an image at the end with a side by side of a 2021 R1 demo site loaded with the U100 data set. Until today, I’ve never had cause to use the add button in Custom Files on this upgrade instance. In every other customization project on this site (with an extension library) the DLL is visible by default. However, I have one project where the DLL did not show up and I can't figure out how to correct that if I cannot add the file and the detect changes button isn't picking the new DLL up. I cannot say if the add button was on this screen after moving from 2019R1 to 2021R1, I never checked. I'm not sure the way I noticed this has any bearing on the ultimate cause, but I'll include an explanation if it ends up being relevant: Today I was working on a customization project that was all custom fields and no business logic. How to Reset "Selected Checkbox field" in acumatica panel

Hi All, I have created a customized panel in “Sales Order” screen and this panel all user to add items to the SOLine. After I click on “Apply” or “Cancel” button the selected check box should be cleared. How can i achieve this. I used PXBool for selected field it is not working. Is this field is controlled buttons? How to change to display more address fields in Sales Order Screen when selecting location

I have seen a customized change that displays more address fields when selecting the location in the header of the sales order screen. However, I do not know what mechanism was used to create this change. It does not appear that the screen editor allows you to make changes to the window that pops up when you click to search for the location. Standard functionality when selecting the location is just to show 2 fields. The customized functionality displays address 1, address 2, ZipCode, etc…. Can anyone point me in the right direction to what tool/method would be the place to start in investigating how to accomplish this?

Customization impact after upgrade - SOShipmentEntry

We’re working on upgrading a Customer from 2019 R2 to 2021 R2. We do have a lot of customizations and I’m running into a few issues esp. with SOShipmentEntry graph. After resolving initial errors in the customization code after upgrade, the code compiled and I was able to publish. However many functionalities are not working. For e.g., looks like the events such as RowPersisted, RowPersisting, RowInserted, RowUpdated, override of Persist method etc. we already had on SOShipmentEntry are not firing anymore. There was also a custom tab with a grid which was not displaying and causing the entire page to break. It was giving an error that the view used by the grid is not available. Though I published multiple times, it kept complaining the same that the view is not available. When I attempted to edit aspx, got an error that Sequence contains no matching elements. I finally deleted the Shipments screen from the customization package and re-added it without the custom tab/grid. Does anyone h

Pass RefNbr in PrepareInvoice Action

Hi Team, I have enabled manual numbering for Invoices. I would like to pass RefNbr field to “PrepareAction” action so that it can take it while creating an invoice. I have override the method “PrepareInvoice” method but looks like all business logic is inside “this.Base.InvoiceOrder” method. Kindly advise how can I set the RefNbr field in PrepareInvoice method ?

How to Remove blanks in Lines from Custom export scenario using ACH Provider

I have created an export scenario using ACH Provider for batch payments. getting an error "Any unsaved changes will be discarded." on any action including Add New Record, First, Previous ... even after screen data is saved.

I have created a new “FormTab.master” form that I have two problems with it. The form works fine when I take away the tab from the form but when add it back the problems persist. When I Click Add New Record, not sure the form doesn’t reset the fields. The fields whithout default value, should be empty but are not. Even if the data is saved (I confirmed through both DB and Primary List) after clicking on Save, no matther what action I trigger (Add New, First, Last ...) I get an error that "Any unsaved changes will be discarded." For claification the header PKs are ProjectID and RevisionID and detail PKs are thesame fields plus TranPeriodID. Mobile App - Scan and Issue - How to Release an Issue for an item as soon as we scan

Hello Community, I’m newbie to the Acumatica Mobile application development. Please bare with me, If I’m wrong. I have a specific below requirement in Scan and Issue screen. Please find the details below. I have created a new site map, which is exactly duplicate screen of Scan and Issue screen. In this newly created screen, I don’t want to scan the location and directly scan the BarCode of an Item and it should defaulted to “Default Issue” field from the Stock Items screen. As soon as scan the Barcode of item, it should take location from Stock Item screen and then should be Released automatically. Can you please help me on the 2nd and 3rd point. Thanks in advance!

Indicating subaccount in shipment issues (ARM)

Hi I would like to analyse sales and COGS via subaccounts. I have created subaccount under GL for the inventory ID. I have also indicated the subaccount when invoice is created. However, when I generate the P&L, only the sales is breaking down in subaccount but not the cost. Is there a way to indicate subaccount in shipment? Or why the ARM is not breaking down the COGS into subaccount? Thank you in advance.

how to keep process running until we stop manually.

we are have a requirement to read the data from external API and add to grid, this should repeat in every 5 seconds and stop when we clicked stop. Can someone please guide me the correct way to do this. So, we created two buttons START and STOP and also a method to read from API and insert to grid. Issue we are facing is - on start, say we are inserting 2 records, when we clicked on stop button, the records in the grid the getting duplicated, i mean, total 4 records.
