We require an additional field "AddressLine4" in both the Business Partner and Customer records, which needs to be incorporated into our opportunities, sales order, delivery note, and invoice documents. However, we are unsure of how to implement this, since the only thing differentiating (for Example at the customer records) between Finance and Shipping is the viewName BillAdress and DefLocationAddress.
Is there any Code-Example or would anyone be kind enough to share a package with this implemented?

+10You will need customization specific to your use case and it doesn’t seem tiny. If you do not have internal resources to develop it, you will need to reach out to your Acumatica partner or independent developers on the community.

+10Not sure what do you mean copy from Viewname to DAC. Views are presentations of the DACs. You look at the Dataflow in opposite direction. You add your fields to DACs (or Projection DACs if applicable) and views will show them with no extra effort.

Yes, but in the customer records, you would have the same DAC field (usrAddressLine4) repeated three times, each separated by different view names. This separates the general address, billing address, and shipping address.
Example from AddressLine1:
Now - Once a new Sales Order is created we would need to write the value from the Viewname “DefLocationAddress” into SOShippingAddress.usrAddressLine4 and the value from the Viewname BillAddress to SOBillingAddress.usrAddressLine4 - but we couldn’t find out how.
