Looking for a way to decrease the length of the SOShipLine.InventoryID_description field on a pick list.  Currently prints the entire value (up to 250 characters but only want it to print the first 50 characters.  Have “Can Grow” set to False.

 Hi,I did a process to create a PO from a SO in the Sales Order screen. It works a bit different than the current create PO process where you specify the vendor details on the SO line and create the PO by clicking on an Action.The problem I have is when I call thePOCreate.CreateProcI don't get any exception that there was an error creating the PO. I only see the error afterwards in the Trace.PXLongOperation.StartOperation(Base, delegate () { try { POCreate.CreateProc(list, poFilter.PurchDate, poFilter.OrderNbr != null); } catch (PXRedirectRequiredException ex) { // Acuminator disable once PX1050 HardcodedStringInLocalizationMethod [Justification] // Acuminator disable once PX1051 NonLocalizableString [Justification] throw new PXException(ex.Message, ex.InnerException);

Hi All, I have a question regarding an invoice to a customer.The customers would like to receive invoices with USD and CAD amounts attached to the invoice (they do not mind receiving two different invoices in two different currencies). I entered the currency ID in Financial Tab on Customers (AR303000) as CAD, as a result, when I printed the invoice in CAD currency. The question is when I clicked VIEW BASE (because the company currency base is USD) and I would like to print out the invoice with USD currency. The invoice keeps displaying CAD currency in the invoice. Is it possible to print out two different currencies invoices for a customer in Acumatica?Looking forward to hearing your response. Thanks.

I’m using 2022 R2 Acumatica version. The use case here is to not allow some users to export in any form the reports, they can just view it.

Modified the Customer Screen and one of the mods was to add a custom action button to calculate some custom fields.   The button and fields work perfectly.  But now I am trying to Add a custom process screen to allow us to run those buttons for all customers on a schedule. First I could not reference the Extension I created in the Process Form definition: It only accepted: customers.SetProcessDelegate<CustomerMaint>(        delegate (CustomerMaint graph, Customer templat)        {Instead of : customers.SetProcessDelegate<CustomerMaint_Extension>(        delegate (CustomerMaint_Extension graph, Customer templat)        {So naturally when it cam time to call the custom button it would not work: graph.Clear(); graph.processon_extension(templat);there was no processon_extension() available under the graph because the graph could only be CustomerMaint not CustomerMain_Extension. How do I reference an Action on an Extension of a form in a Process screen which I think can only be

What is the best way to set up a Roth 401k deduction code? We currently have pre-tax deduction codes and will offer Roth beginning in 2024.Right now I have the Roth deduction code set up as not affecting tax calculations, however I noticed that, if the Affects Tax Calculation box is checked, there is a Roth 401k Code Type on the US Tax Settings tab. Should I mark the Roth deduction as affecting tax calculation and select this Code Type?Thank you.

Hi, we’re onboarding Acumatica now and would like to confirm this is possible. That is, can we use a Business Event or other functionality in Acumatica to automatically create a 6-digit Alternate ID upon creation of a Stock Item that would serve as a barcode? We would need to it to auto-increment so that it’s unique.

Is it possible to have an approval map for the ‘Close’ process of certain classes of ‘Project Issues’?  We have figured out how to use Project Issues as a custom form entry platform, but we’re getting to the point where it would be nice (for some forms) to have an approval workflow before they close.

Our company just signed on as a service partner on Friday.  In fact, we are so new that our business account is not set up yet.  So, I need to ask this question in this forum until we can access the partner area.We are going to our make first hires for the development and IT operations team.  They will get certified in Acumatica and learn xRP.  We are going to look for someone with .NET experience.  But beyond that, does anyone have any recommendations for other good qualifications?  What core skills should a good Acumatica developer or IT support manager have?Thanks for the help.

We have a customer that we are implementing that can have journal batches with a large number of transactions.  Is there any information on how many journal transaction lines a batch can have before there are performance slow downs when viewing and releasing the batch in the journal transaction screen?

Hello fellow Acumatica users! :)Our current payroll post is posting in detail to our jobs with each burden item posting separately.  ie FICA, etc.  Do you know how to post payroll to a job in summary, the “all in cost of an employee” charged to a job for a day or week? Thanks, Kay

I am currently on the section of learning “Formulas in Inquiry Results: To Highlight Row with Color” in the Data Retrieval and Analysis, using DB6-ARInvoicesMemos. The instructions state to use the Row Style box, etc. The formula for highlight certain rows that have a balance > 1000 will be highligted yellow and anything less than that is default. The formula is =IIF([ARInvoice.CuryDocBal]>1000, ‘yellow’, ‘default’). The formula that I have in the Row Style box exactly matches that and it passes validation, but any balance that is over 1000 is not being highlighted. The formula is directly out of the pdf by the same name, Data Retrieval and Analysis. In SSRS there are alternate ways to do the coding like using the =SWITCH function, so at this point I’m not sure of what may be going on.

I see the differences in the available fields. I am looking for info at a higher level.Also, does the SalesInvoice represent the same data that is at the Invoice UI, or is there another UI/Screen for SalesInvoice?

Hi Acumatica Team, We just want to ask if there is a way to disable Warehouse Location in very transaction?Warehouse Location is not needed features. Warehouse Level is only needed in every transaction. Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to import FA to the system, but the all the FA disposed status will become active, is there any error on my import scenario?

I have been building a custom Kit Assembly report for my company to use and have it all set up the way I like it. However, it will repeat the “stock-items” sub report for as many items that are in the stock items.I feel like I’m missing something simple, I tried to set it up similarly to how fs641000.rpx works, with sub reports for stock items and non-stock items (stock items also has a sub report in it for lot/serials).I think the problem is with the sub report for stock items (KA207013.rpx). I have tried the grouping but keep getting the duplicatesAny help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello - One of our properties prepared a batch of payments, and only 4 came through into the standard approval routing, on “Pending Approval” status. The remaining checks are still “On Hold” and they appear to be stuck there. I cannot remove Hold, or change the status in anyway. Does anyone know what may be causing this?Thanks!
