Solved

We have a weekly report of order cancellations/adjustments which we send out to customers. I have been able to set up a Generic Inquiry to identify the Customers who need notifying with a scheduled Business Event to send an Email Notification with a report attached to those customers. However, we have a customer that would like that report sent to multiple email addresses each week. I have set up the email template as a Mailing in the Account Receivable Preferences, added it to their Customer Class, and added the additional Recipients on the Mailing & Printing tab of that Customer record. Yet, when I generate the email via the business event, those additional recipients are not added to the email. Am I missing something in the setup, or is this functionality just not compatible with a custom GI/report like this? Is there a different way the Email Template has to be set up so it can have those additional recipients added, like a special placeholder or something? Testing Event Setup

We’ve created an export scenario using a GI as the source. We need to add a trailer record to the end to sum up the number of payments and the total payment amount. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi all,I know there is an existing discussion regarding adding @FinPeriodID as the default value for Period schema fields in Generic Inquiries:Add @FinPeriodID as Default Value for Period schema fields in Generic Inquiry | Community   However, I haven't been able to find the workaround that others have used. Would anyone be able to share some insight? My goal is to have the Generic Inquiry default to the current financial period, as it currently loads all periods by default, resulting in performance issues and, in some cases, errors. Thanks for your time.

Does anybody know how I can have Acumatica prevent one from Posting an AP Bill against a Purchase Order if the Amount of the AP Bill is greater than the Unbilled Amount of the PO? There is a setting in the Purchase Order Preferences screen where you can choose between No Validation or Validate with Warning but the Validate with Warning still allows you to do it. Our client wants this to be prohibited. I thought of using an Approval Flow to require approval if the AP Bill Total Amount is greater than the PO's Unbilled Amount, but I don't see how to do that. Is there another way?

We have a client that does a lot of custom one off work, and they often reuse the same inventory ID, so they do not have to create 100000 inventory id that they will never use. They are using estimates, so everything gets built out to meet the needs of their customer, but when they go to add it in to the project, it will not allow for duplicates on the project task. They don’t really want to create multiple project tasks, as it duplicates a lot of their work flows. Ideally we would be able to utilize configurations, but configurations and estimates don’t play nicely, especially since there are a lot of outside processes and unknown charges that they need to then flow down. The workaround that they have come up with is to have duplicate inventory ID (remove and replace1, remove and replace 2, etc) so that they can add everything to the project task and group everything together. Not ideal, but better than creating a bazillion part numbers.

Hello,Does anyone able to manage sales categories in Acumatica and sync it to Shopify as product Collection?Thank you

I am stuck. I setup a Sales Order Invoice approval map so that Certain People can do the approval, but they cannot do their own. When I test myself it works and catches on the NOT Norman with a reject. When I test it with Lana, it catches on NOT Lana, BUT IT APPROVES! but NOT Lana is setup the exact same as mine.I am at a loss

We are trying to find a solution to alert users that we have shelf-life inventory that is nearing expiration date. Is anyone using the MAX SHELF LIFE field on the Stock Item under the Inventory Planning tab? If so, how does it work? If there are other processes that people are using, I’d love to hear them. We want to be more proactive with identifying product nearing it life span.  Thanks!

Hello! We want to default the branch location when creating the service order, otherwise we have to fill the branch location every time. We have only 1 branch and 2 branch locations and one branch location is mostly used other one is rare case. Hence we want to make that mostly used branch location to be defaulted, and there is no dependency. Please let me know if you know how to do this. Thanks Amanda

Does anyone know why as an Admin I cannot see al the user activates within the company? I am trying to then assign workgroups for department leads to review team activity but step1 - I cannot see them myself. Thanks

Hi everyone,I’m working on integrating Outlook emails into Acumatica and want to send emails into a custom screen.I see a few possible approaches and would like advice on best practice:Use Acumatica Outlook Add-in — can it be extended with custom logic, or is it closed? Build a custom Outlook Add-in and send emails to Acumatica via REST API Pull emails from Acumatica using Microsoft Graph API (scheduled process)What is the recommended approach for this kind of integration? Is extending the existing Acumatica Outlook integration possible?Or are there any built-in Acumatica features that could help with this use case?

I prepared statements for the date of 10/31/2025 and successfully sent those statements, however Acumatica is still showing the “Last Statement Date” of 4/30/2025. Why is this date not showing as 10/31/2025 since that was in fact the most recent date statements were generated?

Does anyone else run into the issue of not being able to use non-stock kits because any component that has user-enterable lots cannot be added to a Non-stock Kit specification? If so, what was your solution? This has been a huge pain point for us.

My customization file looks like this (the relevant part, I think):<template> <field remove="#fsColumnA-Order field[name='CustomerRefNbr']"></field> <field name="CurrentDocument.ShipVia" after="#fsColumnA-Order field[name='CustomerOrderNbr']"></field> <field modify="#fsColumnB-Order field[name='OrderDesc']" after="#fsColumnB-Order field[name='ContactID']"></field> <field remove="#fsColumnB-Order field[name='CuryID']"></field> <field name="CurrentDocument.UsrOrderAlerts"></field> <field remove="#fsColumnB-Order field[name='DestinationSiteID']"></field> <field name="CurrentDocument.CreatedByID_description" after="#fsColumnB-Order field[name='CurrentDocument.UsrOrderAlerts']"></field>The following error appears on the screen:Error occured during HTML merge for 'SO301000', original source will be used instead. I have setup an approval process for PPV (purchase price variance) in AP Bills.  I’m testing this and no Approval record is getting created: And the Bill is as follows: No approval has been created even though there is a 500 PPV.  Am I missing something?

I’m creating an Import Scenario for the Purchase Request screen (PO.30.20.00).I’m having difficulty adding an individual PO line (other than the first PO line) using the ADD PO LINE button (found under the DETAILS tab).  It seems like the 2nd line never gets properly selected thus, by default, the first line remains selected. How do I add a PO line other than the first one? Here is are my steps (in two screenshots):

Hi! Has anyone implemented vendor consignment before? I’m trying to setup a vendor consignment warehouse at $0 because we don’t want there to be a financial impact until the inventory is used. I’ve looked at Doug’s article below but was wondering whether this can be done without having to setup a different branch/company. Any ideas?https://www.acumatica.com/blog/how-to-implement-consigned-inventory-part-2/

HelloMy client has 2 DH running, same server, 2 different users. Each DH connects to one URL- they have 2 nodesBoth DH connect with same user name to same Tenant. This works just fine, except that when we update printer drivers, restart server and for other unknown reasons, both DH loses the printer’s size configuration causing a major disaster in 8 locations that work 24hrs. a day.We have managed to download the printer file configuration and when this happens, we load it again, but we need to know if this is a known issue or if we can get someone from DH support to help. We are getting calls in the middle of the night because DH loses this. This is the setup we have for both DH:    This is where we have the issue-DH Printers tab:  they have 63 printers and when the Paper Size that was saved before disappears, we have to go into both DH and fix each and everyone of them. This not only causes chaos among all users in all 8 locations, while we fix this, the DH is stopped and no one can pri

When performing a mass multi‑level cost roll, Acumatica doesn't recalculate bill levels for manufactured items from other branches or update their costs in the receiving branch’s assembly. It simply uses the existing standard cost.As a workaround, the mass cost roll process must be run twice. The first run does not pull the most recent standard cost from the sending branch, resulting in an inaccurate assembly cost in the receiving branch. The second run then captures the correct sending‑branch cost and updates the assembly cost appropriately. Can the cost roll process be corrected instead of repeating the mass cost roll process?

Hello all,How can we record loan (liability) against a project in acumatica? So the project will first start with construction which will be funded from loan - as a liability and not income. Then once the project is about to be closed, it is open to be sold out - so the interested prospect pays the deposit for the project which is also a liability and when the prospect signs off the deal, he’s converted to the customer and then the invoice is generated for that project. How can we handle the same in Acumatica? Since its project with 2 accounts - Loan & customer.

Hello Team,I currently have an Import Scenario that imports Opportunities successfully. The Opportunity is created correctly with the relevant contact information, and the Business Account is also created through the same Import Scenario. However, I am unable to map the Business Account Name correctly.Has anyone created a similar Import Scenario where an Opportunity, Contact, and Business Account are created together using the same import process?I would appreciate it if you could share a sample Import Scenario or provide guidance on how the Business Account Name should be mapped. Regards

Hello all,How can I generate MRP consolidated out of all demands under a single row?

Looking for AP automation in Acumatica:Automatically capture vendor invoices from email/PDF Auto-match invoices send by vendor to POs/bills in Acumatica system Only flag for manual review if price variance exceeds tolerance Auto-send payment batches to bank after matchingWe only need the above core functions—no extra or complicated features required. We’re wondering:Is there a native Acumatica solution for this, or recommended third-party integrations? Our biggest challenge: some of our item IDs are different from vendor item IDs (only descriptions are similar). How does AP automation handle matching the correct line items in this case?Any advice or experience would be appreciated. Thanks

I am developing a GI where I need to change pricing of items on sales orders based on customer price classes. For example: If a customer has a customer price class of CUSTOMER, I need to reference the price of an item associated with COMPCUSTOMER. COMPCUSTOMER will never be a customer price class that we actually designated to a customer, but it’s more of a reference.  I’ve been trying to create a reference GI for my main GI to use but because you can’t use formula fields as relation link I’m a little stuck.

Hello all,The Completed qty is still 0 even after releasing Move transaction:
