Hello!
We want to default the branch location when creating the service order, otherwise we have to fill the branch location every time.
We have only 1 branch and 2 branch locations and one branch location is mostly used other one is rare case. Hence we want to make that mostly used branch location to be defaulted, and there is no dependency.
Please let me know if you know how to do this.

Please vote for this idea to expand/improve Branch Location Default features:
In my limited testing, it seems like if ALL Branch Locations are linked to the same Company Branch, then no Branch Location defaults to any service order.
Aside from waiting on a new Acumatica version, I think a small customization to add Default Branch Location to one or more of these screens, and to Service Orders screen might allow your branch to default:

The branch location ID will be specific for a branch, hence when we select the branch on the top only the branch location IDs that are assigned to that particular branch will show up.
Please see below for more clarification
The branch assigned is for the highlighted branch location ID is PRODWHOLE
If you try to create a service order from the branch PRODWHOLE, you will only see the branch location ID assigned to it.

My question is why isn't this Service Branch Location already defaulting? In our customer’s system, they have 2 companies (branches) and we set up their customers with a DEFAULT BRANCH. Each customer has a default already, and is working great for Sales Orders. However, when we look at the Field Service management the Service Branch Location had to be created and then linked to a branch. So since I have 2 companies (branches) I have 2 Service Branch Locations. And users may be logged in to the first company and take a service call for a customer in second company, but the customer should have a DEFAULT BRANCH already assigned. Why can’t we get this same functionality to work in Field Service since it is linked to the correct branch already?
